Watch this video, whether you consider yourself fat or not. The woman in this video says a lot of things that need to be said.

I think she looked hot.

The problem with the fashion industry is that gay men are the ones taking the pictures and designing the clothes. They want women to look like men, not full figured gals.

She does indeed Grace - I wish I had the nerve to post one about not very tall women.
I'm going to have to resort to my sewing machine - and of course barefoot has got to be this years hottest fashion right!

Great video, Grace. I love the notion about just saying what you weigh. Most of us are too sensitive about this. I'll tell you my age or any other stats you want, but I'm always freaked about what the scale yells back at me or the dress size! It's not your IQ, it says nothing about your intellect or personality - this is true. By the way, the girl in the video was very pretty and here I go...she didn't look close to 224 pounds.

I could tell from the video that she's located here in L.A., and I can tell you that folks here are extremely weight- and size-conscious. :(

I saw a biography of Nigella Lawson the other day and she is officially my new hero.
She is a very curvaceous woman, and seems to feel comfortable in her own skin. She celebrates and embraces her love of food. A woman after my own heart!

By the way, I was looking a eBay last night, and I noticed a post from a buyer of a t-shirt who was complaining that the shirt she purchased was too big, as it was a size 12. The seller replied that size 12 is "way large, anyway"!!!!! :o :duh: :nono:

Why?

She was very pretty, and I didn't think she looked 224 either.

Surely if you're naked, you're automatically bare-footed? :P

Men should be fully clothed, at all times. Nobody wants to see the last unwanted turkey in the butcher's shop.

i was talking about that with my art teacher a few weeks back. not so much in reference to gay men, but how the perception of beauty has changed so much with time and how women are becoming so thin that they are losing their femininity. they are taller, thinner with broad shoulders and no curves whatsoever.
I wished I could save her in some sort of time machine.

I agree - good video. People have too much of a hang-up about weight. :)

Personally, I prefer curvy as opposed to skinny. ;)

Not joking at all, just making an observation. Today models look like they are anorexic, more like feminine men than women. If the quote is offensive to anyone I apologize however I think starving models should be more offensive.

Well, I wouldn't quite put it like that... because Fiona would probably hit me.

I can get away with saying it, single ya know. Besides women say it in reverse to me.

I agree with women becoming appallingly thin in the fashion industry, but I don't think gay designers/photographers have anything to do with it. ;)
