In Paul's Arms!
Another good reason to keep your cats inside is something even more deadlier, and no treatment for, than feline leukemia and that is FIP (feline infectious peritonitis). Only problem is that the human can carry the disease as well, not harmful to humans, and not even know it. You can pet an infected animal and then pet yours handing the disease on to them. My 3 cats got it and I have no idea how. I was instructed by my vet to not own a cat for a year after the last one dies. That is how bad this disease is. It stays in your clothes, the carpet, toys, shoes no matter how much you wash there is still the possiblity the infection is still there. Two of my cats did not go out but one did, however by the time they all caught it she stayed inside. Very sad to watch them go through this. Their kidneys fail and urine builds up in their stomach, their eating and box habits change drastically. There are treatments but they really do not do much at all. The shots are expensive and not worth it as they do very little to keep the cat healthy. The disease is still pretty rare but just be very careful. I would hate to see anybody have to go through what I did as it hurts to very much to think that I could have given it to them. It just hurts to think that they are gone.

I have one of each and I love 'em both! Dogs are smart, loyal, protective, etc. Cats can sit in your lap and purrrrrr, are independant and entertaining.

I love all animals. In my family are only cats & horses, so I voted cats.

I do too!!! I work at a "Cat's Specific" Animal Hopital, and I have 1 cat-Annie! But I love dogs as well! I had to put my best friend Gabby to sleep last year  (my dog) She was 16, and sooooooo sweet!!! I miss her every day, but having Annie helps! :)

Definitely a cat person. I don't like dogs.
