Oh Tony it did sound good didn't it? But I'm sorry, I'm just a Kennedy/Booth/Lincoln trivia hound over here. I once actually went to Massachusetts to look at the Hyannis compound, visit Harvard and the Kennedy Library. I said I was weird. |

I AM THE BIGGEST JOHN FAN!
|
Did you cry when you landed at the Narita airport in Tokyo because you knew the Beatles had been there? I did I`ll see your wierd and raise you an insanity.
|

You say you want to save humanity but it`s people that you just can`t stand John came to me in a dream and this is what he said. "I had a vision of a man on a flaming pie, and he told me that Betsy with a B not Lisa with a L is the biggest fan of mine". John trumps 'the boss' ! I WAS ROBBED BY THAT DEVIL WOMAN | |

Lisa, have you ever visited the book depository in Dallas or walked across the grassy knoll?? It's really eerie. . . looking through the window and knowing that Lee Harvey Oswald also looked through there all those years ago . . . it sent a chill down my spine. :ph43r: |

No, we'll never really know, but I've never been a believer in the grassy knoll theory and I don't think Oliver Stone had the answers, either. It's fascinating to speculate though, don't you think?? |

If you had not done this I would have. I like a good myth as well as the next person, but most of this Lincoln/Kennedy connection is just pathetic. More amazing coincidences: President Lincoln was born February 12, 1809 in Kentucky. President Kennedy was born May 29, 1917 in Massachusetts. Lincoln was born in a one room cabin and had two siblings. Kennedy was born in a five bedroom house and had eight siblings. Lincoln's mother died when he was nine years old. Kennedy's mother died 31 years after her son. Lincoln had no middle name. Kennedy's middle name is his mother's maiden name. Lincoln had less than two years formal education. Kennedy went to the best private schools, including Choate, before attending the London School of Economics, Harvard, Princeton and Stanford Universities. Lincoln was 52 when he became President and 56 when he died. Kennedy was 43 when he became President and 46 when he died. Lincoln served as a militia Captain during the Black Hawk War, but never saw combat. Kennedy served as a Lieutenant in the Navy during WWII and was injured in combat. Lincoln was a successful lawyer before entering politics. Kennedy distrusted lawyers. Lincoln was elected to four terms in the Illinois Legislature and one term in the House of Representatives. Kennedy was elected to three terms in the House of Representatives and two terms in the Senate. Lincoln won his first term as President with 39% of the popular vote and 59% of the electoral vote against three major contenders. He won his second term with 55% of the popular vote and 90% of the electoral vote. Kennedy won his only term with 49% of the popular vote and 56% of the electoral vote against a single major contender. For years Lincoln shared his bed with a close male friend. For years Kennedy shared his bed with several close female friends. Lincoln appointed four Associate Justices and one Chief Justice to the Supreme Court. Kennedy appointed two Associate Justices to the Supreme Court. Lincoln's Secretary of the Navy was Orson Welles' great grandfather. Kennedy, who served in the Navy, once said that he liked Citizen Kane. Lincoln's first Vice President was a popular Republican Senator from Maine who supported sending black troops to fight in the South. Kennedy's only Vice President was a popular Democratic Senator from Texas who supported sending black troops to fight in South Vietnam. One of Lincoln's Attorneys General was the brother of a man who was appointed to a prominent court position by John Quincy Adams. And the Bates' mother's name was Caroline. Kennedy was not only born relatively close to Quincy, MA, but his Attorney General was his own brother. Kennedy's daughter was named Caroline. Lincoln entered politics as a Whig and died a Republican. Kennedy was a Democrat before he was born. Lincoln's wife was certifiably insane and once dated Stephen Douglas. Kennedy's wife was all class and would not touch Richard Nixon with a ten foot cattle prod. West Virginia and Nevada were admitted to the Union during Lincoln's term, and four states seceded. No states joined or left during Kennedy's term, but Kennedy won both West Virginia and Nevada in the 1960 election. Spooky. |

Not weird, been there myself. Of course when you live in Rhode Island you tend to like anything Kennedy. Thats the only reason Patrick Kennedy is a Congressman. |
