The loophole they always use is that it's legal to kill whales for scientific research. Well, after all this study, all I have to say is Publish your research!! |

Yeah it really disturbed me when I first came across their tendency toward using drift nets for "fishing" ... then I came across information related to them also using the same technique in the air too. In the ocean they lay out these nets that are miles long and basically troll them behind the vessels so anything that's in the wake of the net ends up being ensnared by it ... like pillaging the seas, obviously the same technique in the air makes a similar visual come to mind for me. They can come up with a radio/cell phone/PDA/remote control that fits into the area of a watchface, but they can't figure out how to do something to remedy those practices. I can understand that they've got limited real estate over there to really sustain their people, but excesses like that are really over the top in my opinion. Forgive me if I just couldn't read the article that you've provided there ... maybe later, but not tonight. |

That's OK! It happens to only be a paragraph or two - not much of an article, just a video clip from the news. |

Sorry, Fiona. . . I just don't have to strength to watch any videos that show any kind of slaughter or inhumane treatment of animals. I wouldn't be able to erase the images from my mind. Sometimes, though, I think the images my imagination conjures up are almost as bad.
When will man ever learn??
