Is Monday night a rerun of Sunday's show? Or do we get 4 hours of all new shows???? My husband will be in heaven. Last year I bought him the set of 24. |

Judy, I think it's 4 hours of all new stuff. Tassy, this is not my kind of show. I don't like shoot-em up kind of things but this show is so addicting. Really exciting and so many twists and turns. When my hubby and I first watched it it was season 3. We were so inot it we rented the first to seasons. One night we couldn't get it at our local Blockbuster so I drove all over town like a crack addict looking for it. It was crazy!! |

Judy, they never do reruns of 24. It is all new shows which is why they start their season in January instead of September/October. I wish Lost would do the same thing. |

Talk about addicting!!!!! This is absolutely the ONLY television I will not miss! If we can't get out of doing something on a Monday night...then we record it! We own all 5 of the previous seasons. It is the only television show I have ever purchased DVD's for. It is incredible.

I have may Lynn on several different programs. She actually is just like her character Chloe...except she will frequently smile. She is actually gorgeous. Just beautiful when she smiles and grins. She is a tiny little thing too. She was in the new movie Little Miss Sunshine. She is the girl who wears the headset and seems to be in charge of Olive at the pagent. Watch her smile! |

I can fill you in...each new year starts a new segment... Last year there was a terrorist threat against the United States involving nerve gas. The former President of the United States, President Palmer, was murdered because he found out about it and knew who was behind it. It turns out that the current President, Charles Logan, was behind the whole thing, basically so he could put and end to it and futher his political career by looking like a hero. However, he did not know that the people he was working with were also working with their own adgenda and planned to follow through with the attacks. Jack Bauer (Keifer Sutherland) is agent Jack Bauer, who works for CTU (the counter terrorist unit) and it was his assignment to stop the nerve gas attacks over the period of 24 hours. At the end of the season...Pres Logan was taken into custody, and Jack Bauer was about to head home when he was ambushed and taken by Chinese Agents..to China! I think this season starts where he has been a prisoner for two years and is being released by the Chinese. We will have a new President, Wayne Palmer, brother of murdered President David Palmer (Dennis Haysbert) |

We love the "pause" button -- we can go to the 'fridge or take a pee break, and then fast forward through the ads. Right now, on the local news, they're interviewing people who attended a large viewing party at a local bar. Apparently, the viewing party takes place every Monday night, as well. In actuality they film it all over So. California. I have recognized the wash by Griffith Park, places by me in Simi Valley, parts of North Hollywood, etc. Chatsworth wasn't the only place. As a matter of fact, a good deal of the first half of last season was the west end of the San Fernando Valley and east end of Simi Valley as well as the entry way to the Reagan Library on the west end. |

My Gawd, I was SHOCKED...SHOCKED...SHOCKED...at the Curtis development. I suppose he is leaving this cash cow to move on to his own show like Dennis Haysbert did. Actually, Dennis is still cashing in on 24 because he does the Allstate commercials too! I couldn't believe what happened.....Jack and Curtis were like brothers. It seems as though Curtis just snapped....he was always so by the book. I'm really gonna miss him!

Ok....unless I missed the answer to my question somewhere, there is a HUGE plot hole in this season already! WHAT MADE THE CHINESE GIVE JACK BACK????????? All of a sudden the US needs Jack to save the day....again. He has been being held as a prisoner for 20 months by the Chinese. Suddenly the US needs him to save the day...and he is returned, just like that. Why couldn't the US have gotten him back sooner? What did the Chinese get from us for returning him? |

What I've Learned: Jack Bauer Counterterrorism Expert, Los Angeles By Nicole Ranadive and Matt Michnovetz F**k diplomacy. Actions speak louder than words. Though shouting can also be effective. If you shoot a man's wife in the knee and he still doesn't give you the information, he's bad. Revenge is the cruelest trick. I've seen it taken out on others, I've been victim to it, I've even done it myself. But it doesn't change anything, and it doesn't bring comfort. Trust is the key to survival. And by trust, I mean getting out of the way and letting me do what I need to do. The only thing harder than racing to stop a madman from releasing a deadly virus that will kill thousands of people is doing it while simultaneously trying to kick heroin. I've been beaten, kidnapped, gassed, and shot at, but the most terrifying thing I've ever been through was facing my daughter after I made her believe I was dead. I eat a lot of bananas. They're a good source of vitamin B and potassium. They're also easy to take on the move. Love is a privilege. If you have to trust someone, make it a quirky computer genius. If I say "dammit," either something bad just happened, something bad is about to happen, or I'm going to do something drastic. Any man can make a mistake. It's what he does to remedy that mistake that shows his character. You better know who you are before you go undercover. If you don't, you could easily lose yourself. Always carry at least one spare fully charged cell-phone battery. So many times when I thought there was no more time, there was. When interrogating a suspect, I've often found it effective to ask the question loudly and repeat it several times. Remember, terrorists use the phone as much as we do. In the event of a highway landing, always fasten your seat belt and return your chair and tray table to their upright and locked positions. It's all key cards and thumb drives these days. If the president of the United States ever orders you to shoot your boss in the head at point-blank range in cold blood, take a deep breath, ask God to forgive you, and just do it. Without conscience, a man becomes his worst enemy. Sometimes it's necessary to create a believable diversion, even at the risk of others thinking you're an ***hole. A cell phone can sometimes be used to activate a secondary detonator on a terrorist's explosive vest regardless of how many minutes are left on your plan. Dead terrorists can often be effectively used as human shields. So can live ones. Bureaucrats want results but never want to get their hands dirty. The safety of the people I love is worth any sacrifice. Even their trust. Some people don't deserve to die, but that's not my call. Serbs have a different word for everything. If you don't have a Taser gun, the wires from a lamp will deliver the current needed to shock your subject just enough to get him to give up the information you need without doing any permanent damage. Sometimes you have to do the wrong thing for the right reasons. You can't save everyone. If you see me running down the street, it's probably a good idea to take cover. Don't p*ss off the Chinese. Jana, I think we will find out later in the season about the Chinese and how Wayne Palmer became the Pres. There are always big holes and lots of questions at the start of each season beacuse they skip ahead several years. I saw in the previews for next week that the guy that Pres Logan was talking too at the end of last season is back, so I think there will be a tie in. You know this show, so many twists , just when you thought you had it figured out..... LOL about the Chinese takeout. They must have fed him well tho, he looked pretty buff last night. |

This afternoon, Bert sat in the bedroom and we watched *24* from Sunday night. Tonight, we will watch Monday's night show. I watched parts of the first year, but I hated watching violent movies so I didn't see much of the first and other season shows. Today I watched most of the show.....heard all of it.....the show is scary to me, because I'm sure stuff like this is probably going on, this very minute in our crazy world. I find myself being taken in watching this show but I'm prepared to place a pillow over my face (not too tightly), to the parts that are gory. Will I become addicted???? |

I didn't! What's bothering me about the show is how that lame-assed "American" so casually decides to help Fayed by selling him more devices to let off 4 more nukes! For cryin-out loud...a nuke just went off in this guy's neighborhood and he's off to Vegas, selling a terrorist more devices! A little over-the-top, for me! <_< |

I would never have guessed in a million years that Chopper Bob (that's wht we call him here at home) and Jack were brothers! Although they did act like brothers...plastic bag over the head...tied him to a chair...belted him...yep, they're brothers! |

LOL!! How true!! "Chopper Bob!" I remember he played a butt-head doctor in "ER." First he got his arm sliced off by a helicopter, then later got smashed by one falling on him! |

They really didn't give it away as he was asked if his own father would be appearing on the show. Kiefer stated his father is busy and that they got James Cromwell to play his father so we will see his father and brother on the show. |

You had to know somehow that he was involved. When his son was being tortured and he really didn't do anything, plus the looks he gave when the door was opened and the guy doing the injecting was calling for security was pretty much a dead giveaway. But, for him to kill his son because he was no longer needed, that was pretty damned

I liked the way he injected him and then held his hand over his mouth to keep him from making any noise...then once he was dead he gives him a kiss on the head.....that's pretty damned cold! |
