You Are Somewhat Mature

Although you may feel Grinch-like at times, it's just because you're worn out from the holidays.
You get into the holiday spirit more than most people - and you truly enjoy celebrating with your family and friends.

I'm somewhat mature which is news to me :D

I think it was 'Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer' that tipped the balance ;)

Ouch! You make the Grinch seem like Santa Claus. Holidays definitely aren't your thing.
Just relax, and create your own tradition. Even if it's drinking spiked hot chocolate and heckling carolers.

This was a surprising outcome, seeing as I have a friend who calls me "Scrooge" (which annoys the heck out of me!)

Peter , Peter, Peter, you really really must get over this proprietary feeling you have between the UK and the US. For the most part we are all of the same bloodline. That is except the people that had dominion over the North American continent before the Spanish, the English and the French sailed across the ocean blue and planted their respective flags. Of course they then steamed rolled right over the culture that was a part of this soil for thousands of years. Not that that matters in the least. And who am I too judge. I am certainly not native bloodline to anyone who posessed this land prior to the European conquest. So I am more like you and you are more like me than I will ever be like the true inheritors of this patch of soil. But all of that was then and this is now, and all we have is today and tomorrow. None of us can go back and even if we could it would be folly. So why in the world should mankind as a whole (we after all are all of the same species, even if we have different features or cultures) continue to keep our knickers in a twist over class and birthplace.

You know I love you , but sometimes you can be really grinchy and grouchy you know. :P

I wasn't really sure what a Grinch is but it seems a bit of a misery like Scrooge so I'm glad I'm not one. :P

Sandra the Grinch is the main character from a famous childrens book in America by Dr. Sues. It is called How the Grinch Stole Christmas. The grinch lives high above whoville and despises the whos` and most especially their love of Christmas and all its trappings. So he plots to steal Christmas. He makes himself a Santa Suit and turns his dog Max into a reindeer. He heads into town on Christmas eve in his make shift sled, but instead of leaving gifts he steals all the gifts , lights, holiday foods and decorations. He is quite satisfied with himself and as he looks down on the town waiting in anticipation for the whos` to be devasted by the theft of their holiday, he sees they have gathered in the town square. Forming a circle holding hands and singing Christmas songs, and laughing and hugging. The Grinches crusty old heart melts and he returns all the things he has taken and the whole town sits down with him to have a celebratory meal.

Ah, that's what Christmas should be all about - melting crusty old hearts. Thanks Betsy. :D
