Okay, this is a little too Frankensteinian for me!

I can see stem cell research using human embryos to help those who are suffering grave diseases and the like, but to resort to this "Man-cow" process is just way too bizarre and I don't feel it's going to lead to anything good.

If anyone remembers how badly the cloning research went (with Dolly the sheep, etc.), those poor creatures didn't live very long. I foresee the same sort of outcome with experimentation like this.

I just don't think that Science should be playing God. We can't tinker with life like this...and cows are not human or vice-versa.

I'm sure this is going to be great fodder for the late-night talk show hosts, though!

People will not complain so much when the supermodels all have cow sized udders.

Playing devil's advocate here (because I find this equally disturbing)...

If they could definitely find a cure for cancer in this way, how many people would still object? If they could cure so many debilitating diseases and conditions by stem cell research & creating these 'man-cows' which only "live" for a few days, why would stand in their way?
...and in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make.

I still would. It's too close to playing God for my comfort.
