I heard this before I left for work this morning. I am so happy. No more buying toothpaste or begging the people where I am staying for their's. |

I can take what I need in the plastic bag. I had to buy toothpaste when I went to see Love and paid too much for a travel sized tube. I have two tubes of that now, so all I have to do from what I am reading is put the toothpaste in a ziplock bag of the correct size and pull it out at screening. Then it goes in my carry on. I don't shop at airport stores. They are ridiculous in what they charge. |

Thanks for the pictures, Fiona. I will only be putting in toothpaste and lotion, so it should fit easily in the bag. |

I just flew from New York to Los Angeles and back without any problems. I had all my usual crap in my carry on bag and I even daringly bought a beverage at the airport. No one got hurt as a result of my recklessness. |

Glad to hear that. My boyfriend said he put the saline solution for his contacts in his socks the last time he flew. It was before the rule change. He said he got right thru security with no problem. |

The only security problem I have ever had was when they could not figure out what the vibrator was. They....on second thought, maybe this is not such a great story. |

No, it is a great story. I want to hear more. Last trip I took, they were insisting I had toothpaste in my carry on. They sent it through the scanner a second time and then the TSA screener yelled loudly "toothpaste, toothpaste". You'd have thought a bomb was going off. They took the suitcase and told me I was not to touch it. The zipper is broken and I have fixed it so I can get into it. They couldn't figure out how to get in the suitcase. Finally, they had me open it. There was no toothpaste in the suitcase after the took out everything. The second person said she had no idea what would even have looked like toothpaste. |

This is all playing into the terrorists' hands! Their plot is for all Americans to die of blood poisoning brought on by infections caused by tooth decay. Wake up people - you're doing their work for them! |

Then in Britain, the terrorists have already won. |
