15 Things to do at WalMart while your spouse/shopping partner is taking their sweet time: 1. Get 24 boxes of condoms & randomly put them in peoples carts when they aren't looking. 2. Set all the alarm clocks in Housewares to go off at 5 minute intervals. 3. Make a trail of tomato juice on the floor leading to the restrooms. 4. Walk up to an employee and tell him/her in an official tone, "Code 3 in housewares"...and see what happens. 5. Go to the Service Desk and ask to put a bag of M&M's on layaway. 6. Move a 'CAUTION - WET FLOOR' sign to a carpeted area. 7. Set up a tent in the camping department and tell other shoppers you'll invite them in if they bring pillows from the bedding department. 8. When a clerk asks if they can help you, begin to cry and ask 'Why can't you people just leave me alone? 9. Look right into the security camera, use it as a mirror and pick your nose. 10. While handling guns in the hunting department, ask the clerk if he knows where the anti-depressants are. 11. Dart around the store suspiciously while loudly humming the theme from Mission Impossible'. 12. In the auto department, practice your "Madonna look" using different size funnels. 13. Hide in a clothing rack and when people browse through, say "PICK ME! PICK ME!" 14. When an announcement comes over the loud speaker, assume the fetal position and scream "NO! NO! It's those voices again!!!" And last but not least: 15. Go into a fitting room, shut the door and wait a while and then yell loudly "Hey! You're out of toilet paper in here!!" |

Not to be an elitest, but I cant stand it there. My wife has dragged me there twice and it was one of the scariest things I've ever done. |

Yes, I've seen this list several times and it tickles my fancy, even if I avoid Wal*Mart. |

My Lord. Wal Mart is my second home. We don't have many choices here in Hickville USA though. My mother works at Wal Mart and loves it. |

Yeah, I don't go to WALMART. HOWEVER, #11...I have done that, but it wasn't the MI theme. It was the James bond theme. |

I dont doubt that in rural areas WalMart is of value. But in Los Angeles forget about it. Go at your own risk!!! |

Yeah, down here where we all run around barefoot, with rotten teeth, eating cheesecake.

Well, aside from rotting teeth, that sounds like the life!

Doesn't it just! Count me in. Number 14 is my favourite I'm going to do that the next time I'm in Asda/WalMart the announcements drive me insane. They treat the customers like cretins. This is a colleague announcement..... Aghhhh!!! Scream |

I've seen this list several times. My nephew used to work at Wally World and he quit because they didn't treat their employees very nice. Last spring when he thought he might be flunking a course in college and wouldn't graduate, he was wishing he was still working there. When I lived in small town Iowa, there were two places to shop without driving 60 miles--Wal Mart and Wally World. They drove everyone else out of town--another reason I hate them. |

In Paul's Arms!

Yo another So. Cal person. We have Walmarts but I boycot them as does my boyfriend one of the reasons is because of the way they treat their employees. The other is that they do want they as they please unless the town they are in speaks up to them like my town has, Simi Valley, and Inglewood has told them NO resoundingly. My town told them where they could build their Walmart to which Walmart told them no way they wanted to be right next to Target. They fought my town for 10 years before deciding to build right where they were told to build, away from the main part of town and other businesses. |

I avoid that place as I disagree with their business practices and ethics. |

Well, here's another clue for you all, the Walrus was Paul...
|
I live in a rural area...and have to travel about 20 minutes to get to a store. (maybe thats not that far for some...maybe its really far for others.) There is a Wal-Mart and a Target within a block of each other....and I never shop at Wal-Mart...and always go to Target. I don't like Wal-Mart...but I do shop at Sams Club...which is in the Wal-Mart family...

I'm glad to see that so many of us avoid Wal Mart. Their employment and business practices really are terrible. |

I was in a Walmart once and someone had taken a dump in the dressing room. It takes all types. |

One of my all-time favorites. I'd start the same thread here, but somewhere I can hear my mom's voice saying "A lady shouldn't use that kind of language!"
