whats with not having a top 5 Connery films

Just a healthy anti-Scottish bias. Everyone knows that Roger Moore was the definitive Bond. :P

(Just kidding! Just kidding! I'll add it to my list!)
...and in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make.

I know you were just kidding, but no way in bloody hell was he the best Bond. He was sleazy and just ewww. Sean on the other hand was freaking AMAZING and he has done some awesome films since but I think he is still seen as Bond or a Scottish nationalist who doesnt even live in Scotland

Jackson doesn't scare me. I'm too old and too female for him.

I think with Jade Scorpion people just didn't get it. They complained the dialogue wasn't modern and was too much like movies from that era  In the words of my nephew, big fat duh.

Agreed, Connery is, without doubt, the best Bond. He may not live in Scotland (if you had all that money, would you?) but at least he speaks up for Scotland and is proud of being Scottish - that has to be worth something. :)

Okay, let's try this one...

Round 100: TOP 5 FILMS WHERE THE ENDING MADE YOU HATE THE MOVIE

1. War Of The Worlds (2005) - The son should have died, damn it! Needlessly Hollywood happy ending.

2. Bowling For Columbine (2002) - The Charlton Heston interview was cheap and completely spoiled the whole film.

3. Lord Of The Rings: Return Of The King (2003) - The film finished with a brilliant climax and then, for some reason, just kept on going. OK, it was being faithful to the book and all that, but the end just draaaaaagged. Overly sentimental pap.

4. Cast Away (2000) - He delivered the package. What about all of the others he opened and used on the island. What cheesy ending for a decent film!

5. Return Of The Jedi (1983) - OK, perhaps I don't hate the whole movie, but I wish that there was no such thing as Ewoks (and Jar Jar Binks) in the Star Wars trilogy.
...and in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make.

Round 100:  TOP 5 FILMS WHERE THE ENDING MADE YOU HATE THE MOVIE

1. Malcom X [If you have to have a bunch of school children explain the point after 3 hours, you're doing something wrong. By the way, I'm not Malcom X.] Saving Private Ryan has the same problem. The old version of Matt Damon has to do a monologue at his grave repeating what we've already heard just in case you weren't paying attention.
2. Clueless [She's picky about what goes on her feet but is willing to lose it to her step-brother. That's just creepy.]
3. Murder By Death [Overall funny and a great cast but the ending is stupid.]
4. The Contender [It was all lies. Cop out.]
5. Kissing Jessica Stein [She goes back to straight. Cop out.]

This is a hard one. There are so many great movie bands. I'll ignore all the Spinal Tap bands [Duke Fame and the Fame Throwers/Pudding People/Love Bisquits/The Doppel Gang] and Rutland Weekend Television bands [The Rutles/Toad the Wet Sprocket/Vomit/Wretched Admiral Sphincter]. And since this isn't about cartoons I won't mention The Simpsons [The Be Sharps/Captain Bart and the Tequila Mockingbirds/Funky C Funky Do and their hit song I Do Believe We're Naked/The Rappin' Rabbis/Springfield Mental Asylum Marching Band], Family Guy [Handful of Peters/Billy Bob and the Nocturnal Emissions/Fat, Black, Horny and Joe], South Park [Getting Gay With Kids/Raging Pussies/Fingerbang/Sisters of Mercy Hold No Pain Against the Dark Lord], Futurama [Good Time Funk Attack], King of the Hill [Big Mountain Fudgecake], The Critic [Nuns in a Blender]. And I'll give no hint of Douglas Adams bands [Disaster Area/Pugilism and the Third Autistic Cuckoo/Reg Nullify and his Cataclysmic Combo]

Are the topics boring? Require too much imagination? Are people boycotting this because Andy's no longer in charge? Is it simple lack of interest? Is there a particular reason almost nobody's participating or is it simply a cyclicle drop?

I think it is a cyclical thing that tends to happen in months beginning with a J for some reason.

Speaking for myself, sometimes it does require too much thinking and I don't like to come up with something that's just a distillation of others' choices. I will get back to you on these, I promise.

These are topics that can have a wide variety of answers. There's no need to repeat anybody's choices unless they're yours as well. Topics like top James Dean movies have to have repetition, but they seem to be the most popular.
