Since I just finished dinner, I thought it might be interesting to find out what everyone is having...

I just ate a four-cheese pan pizza from Pizzeria Uno, washed down with some Coke.

How about you?
What a long, strange trip it's been....

I microwaved two Chimichangas and had them with Coke. Not very nutritional but it's too hot to go to very much trouble and I don't have much of an appetite.

I worked at my second job and they fed me a croissant, so all I fixed when I came home was some hash browns. Very nutritional, I'm sure. ;)

Didn't have lunch, so I had an early evening snack -- hummus, baby carrots, mini toasts -- and now I'm too stuffed (and too hot) to have dinner.

Oh, and I'm having a glass of champagne. (Always room for that. ;) )

What type of grill do you use for your asparagus? I grill veggies on the outside bbq, usually on skewers. I think I need some sort of an indoor grill or pan. I've actually taken to grilling some veggies that can be sliced on the George Foreman with a little olive oil and garlic.

Mince two cloves of garlic and add it to a cup of EVOO and marinade the asparagus in it while you heat up the outdoor grill. Cook the asparagus on the grill until it's started to soften up a bit, but don't go too long, as it cooks pretty quickly.

Last night I made a cool cucumber salad.

I sliced cucumbers very very thinly, sliced an onion very thinly, and added a little bit of crabmeat. I then poured a little white vinegar into the bown and added a little bit of sugar. I let that sit overnight, and then had it last night for dinner.

It was really good!

It was the imitation stuff this time. I just took a fork and "fluffed" the crab meat, know what I mean? So you just came across little pieces of crabmeat.

Yes, I agree, it's wonderful on a hot day!
