I'm not pssed that the BBC are getting blamed. I'm pssed because it gives them attention and a lot of publicity which they will exploit for their own selfish ends. To quote Barbera Bush 'this is all working out alright for them'. It wouldn't suprise me if they aren't preying for some more deaths to pulp out into the nations living room and get us all excitedly watching their disgusting cynical and disrespectful news shows. They actually call them 'Top stories' now. That is just such a tacky way to sell other peoples suffering and loss and misery etc. The BBC are fantastic. Unbelievable value for money and an essential public service envied by people all around the world. The license fee is worth it for Glastonbury alone, let alone all of the brilliant news coverage, comedies and dramas they produce each year. If more and more people criticise the BBC, it will jeopardise the service and, like most things, you don't know what you've got until it's gone.

Posts: 769 Group: Members Member #645 Joined: March 20, 2009	I've just been on a chess site and was disconnected twice while playing players with over 200 more ranking points than me. The first i was almost certainly going to beat as when it disconnected he was down to a knight and king and i had a queen and some pawns which i could have promoted!! Luckily the guy had set it to be a non-ranking game so i didn't lose any points as i would have done 'cause when it disconnects it counts it as me resigning!! The other game wasn't so clear cut. It was complicated but i had a piece advantage after offering a queen exchange 'cause my pieces were out in the open wheras my opponents were hemmed in. They shouldn't have took it 'cause of that. when it cut off I was in a better postion but who knows what would have happened!
