Hey Jude

This is the Venting thread mk.2 - the original one has disappeared, I'm afraid. Sorry to those who have lost posts. Vent about that, if you like!

I'd like to say how hot the buses are in London; TWICE the level of temperature deemed acceptable for CATTLE transportation. And people who don't wash before coming out into public...just DON'T!!

Our public transportation has air conditioning but some busses only run every 45 minutes so its not that great. And I have no air in my car.I bought a fan that runs thru my cigarrette lighter and it helps but not that much.

Here's a quick fix to cool you off...temporarily.

Take an ice cube, turn your arm so that the underside of your wrist is facing up and rub the ice cube around your wrist. It's a pulse point, and that will cool you down temporarily.

Hope it helps!!

Another tip that I found helpful if you don't have an ice cube with you on the bus Lauren (sorry Tim :D ) is if you can visualise breathing in cool blue air through your nostrils as you inhale and breathing out hot red air through your mouth as you exhale. I was a bit sceptical but it has helped me. Worth a try I'd say.

Something I do with cool water. I will try it with an ice cube now!

Good advice also, Sandra.
Just keep truckin' on.
