I haven't had any personal experiences, but everyone says my Maw Maw's house is haunted. My dad grew up there and he'll tell stories that make your hair stand up. I don't know what to believe. Until I have a experience for myself, I'll probably remain skeptical. |

I once thought I had a poultergeist. Every time I left money laying around it would mysteriously disappear without trace. My roommate was normally in the room when it happened and he said he saw or heard nothing. Creepy eh? |

There was also one time when I was kidnapped by aliens. I stepped out of the pub and was surrounded by blue flashing lights. They must have used some sort of ray on me because then I passed out, and when I woke up I was back at home on my bed. I think they may have done bizarre experiments on me, because all the food in my stomach was over my shirt. Also I had a really bad headache. |

When I was about sixteen years old, I was returning with my dad from St. Clair County, Alabama when I saw something in the sky. It was huge, cigar-shaped, over three hundred feet long, and lined with red lights. It was flying close to the tree line and stayed right with us for about five miles or so. I told my dad about it, but he just laughed. The next night, while we were watching the news, they talked about all the UFO sitings that were reported in St. Clair County that night. Me & my dad just looked at each other, but didn't say a word.

I'm open-minded about it and fascinated by some of the accounts and theories I've heard. I have yet to experience anything obvious for myself but, although it would clear up some questions, I'm not so sure I'd want to! |

Orbs seem so simple and common that you wouldn't think it's something like a ghost but people who actually work with photographs can't seem to explain it, so...! |

I definitely believe in the paranormal, I've had a number of unexplained occurances in my life, and even recently when I first got over here. I've always had a deep interest in it too, though I have to admit, I've never seen a ghost but I've heard and sensed them. My son and I have taken pictures with orbs in them. I can't explain for certain what they are, but they DO seem to have peculiar charactoristics that set them apart from anononomolies of the explainable. When I was a child I saw a UFO pretty close above us slowly going by from our backyard during the day. I was with my mother and she pointed it out to me. A few years later we saw a number of strange lights in the sky...this time at night, and other drivers were pulling off the road to watch them do strange formations in the sky, too. There are many things we can't explain. I'm not gullible, but I've experienced enough to realize that there is more to our existance than what we pick up with our five senses. Merry

I completely agree, Merry! To think that we can explain everything with science is just arrogant! I find it perfectly acceptable that cameras could pick up things that our naked eyes could not. Cameras work with light and energy, don't they? Plus, when you consider that the universe is infinite (don't even get me started on that!) it's hard not to imagine that there are forms of life somewhere else out there, whatever they may be. |

When one begins to open up ones mind's eyes one begins to open up to other possiblities. to deny that sixth sense part of oneself is to limit ones own personal growth. love doris. |
