She was a leading lady of the 40s and 50s - and the star that most GIs said they would like to marry.

I loved her as Jo March in the original movie version of Little Women.

She passed away at her home in California today at the age of 88.

Rest in Peace, Ms Allyson.
I don't believe in Bondi. I don't believe in rugby league. I believe in Yoko, John Lennon, the Lost Weekend and me.

I can't believe this! I love to watch her old movies. She was kinda cute and sexy when she was younger. Oh well... Thanx Clare for sharing.

I'm another one that loved Little Women--the book and the movie. Rest peacefully, June Allyson. :(
