Well everyone the moment as come :)

Tomorrow night I'm going to be a virgin :D (well I still am  )

I'm going to watch 'Rocky Horror Picture Show' for the first time on stage in Liverpool and I cannot wait :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

I'm up in the gods in the theatre so I think I wont be able to get good pictures to show you all :( If I suddenly decide to dress up I might get drunk enough afterwards to show you some pictures :pinch: lol :D

Who loves 'Rocky' ?? Anyone seen it on stage before ??? What's you favourite bit ???

Hey Jayne!

Love Rocky --- never saw the stage show, but ages and ages ago, used to go to the theater to see it, with lots of enthusiastic audience participation. One of my fondest memories is when rolls of toilet paper (and hot dogs) bounced off my friends' heads during some excitin parts.

Bring an umbrella (or at least a newspaper!)!

I AM THE BIGGEST JOHN FAN!
Love it. Never seen the stage production, but I have seen the movie hundreds of times. I used to dress as Columbia :D
You say you want to save humanity but it`s people that you just can`t stand
John came to me in a dream and this is what he said. "I had a vision of a man on a flaming pie, and he told me that Betsy with a B not Lisa with a L is the biggest fan of mine". John trumps 'the boss' !

Cheers Lisa and Betsy :)

Betsy - I bet a few men on here would love to see any pictures of you dressed as Columbia :D

I've been reading the 'virgins' guide to Rocky and they say you can tell the ones who are virgins :( They say as long as you don't throw anything on stage you are ok (but we are in the gods so no chance of that lol :)) so rice, confetti, a newspaper

I'm borrowing a labcoat from work tomorrow which will hopefully cover what I am going to wear ;) don't know whether I should just all the way or what though

I watched Rocky Horror Show recently, it was a blast! Screaming "sl*t", "boring" and all that abuse was amazingly funny. We were having water fights with strangers and then rice fights when the time was right. Such fun!
Don't worry about being a 'virgin', Jayne; just have fun!

I've never seen it in person but have the movie and the soundtrack here. I love it. Years ago my roommates hid my tape of it so I couldnt watch it anymore, it was driving them nuts. Have fun!

It is both :) The film is called the Rocky Horror Picture Show, the play is the Rocky Horror Show. It is a 'cult' film/ play, where the audience participates by shouting lines, throwing objects etc.

My friends and I would always head over there for the midnight showing of Rocky! never saw the stage version but was thinking of going to the sing along version that is playing in London during my vacation. Has anyone seen that version yet? Does the original film play anywhere in London?

CASTLES DON'T HAVE PHONES ASSHOLE!!!

Hehehe, Jayne, take a copy of the script with you that has all the call lines, that way you know what to shout (and what the hell everyone's shouting) and when. There's some pretty raunchy ones that I know (and probably have a PM from Andy if I say 'em!), but I do know all of the call lines. Have fun, bring your rice, newspaper, toast, and hot dogs!!

well I went and its was (pardon my language) f*cking amazing :D :D

1 of the lads who was with us went blind in the bar area with all the costumes ;)

The narrator was a scouse actor (he played in brookie, the bill and merseybeat - sorry cant think of his name) so alot of the call lines when he was on stage related to the programmes he been in

the also 'added' a song for Brad when he finds Janet with Rocky on the tv screen - is this usual ???

I continually danced all night :) but sorry to disappoint there won't be any pictures of me because I never had enough dutch courage beforehand to dress up :( but I'll tell you next time I go I'd defo dress up ;)

Bridget - it was hard to hear some of the call signs but gotta say I never got wet, got rice/confetti chucked at me or not alot of newspapers around either :( they must of stuck all us 'virgins' at the back of the theatre lol  I'd recommend it to anyone :D

Gosh, I have to ask my master if I can go out more often. I never heard of this play/video. I'll have to check around and see if it's played in the states or just video. It sounds like a riot! Some place where I could get in trouble. My daughters would love it so I'll have to check it out.

Thanks Jayne for the review.

((((hugs)))
