I thought maybe some of you might get a kick out of this, it's from one of my all-time favorite TV programs, I wish they'd bring it back!

Okay, here's one more...this time with Richard Simmons.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jL3lAWIqCR0...0It%20Anyway%3F

I met him in person in '96, he was at a book signing at K-Mart, believe it or not. No, I hadn't needed his products, but I went to see him for myself, He was exactly the same as he is on TV, very flamboyant and full of energy. I think he was expecting me to give a testomonial to the effectiveness of his diet products, but I couldn't do that!

Anyhow, he gave me a big hug and I thought he was very nice...quite a personalilty! ;)

Hope you enjoy! :)

Hi Pedro! Great to hear that you're working out, you don't seem to be too out of shape in your picture, even if it was taken a couple or so years ago.

Hope you watched the Simmons guest shot on "Whose Line"! ;)

No...I'm not overweight at all, haven't been! I'm actually rather small, petite. I can't afford to lose anything really, I'm trying to maintain what I have! ;) I was down too many pounds last year and I've put on a little, I think I look a bit better. Working hard is like a gym work-out, so I'm pretty fit, actually.

But enough about me...! ;)

Naww Fiona, you aren't a bit overweight, I'll bet Andy would attest to that! ;)

A little moving around is good for you though, and ideally dancing makes it more pleasurable.

Sorry, I didn't mean to open up the topic of weight with this clip, I guess that's natural with Richard in it though, we all associate him with it, among other things!

Anyhow, I'm a huge fan of "Whose Line...?" and I'm glad some of you are enjoying these. There are a slew of them on the page that I've linked to. I could spend a good deal of the day watching them. I wish the show would come back on, they are masters at improv comedy! :)

I don't think the show is on anymore, Pedro. MAYBE on cable here, but I don't get it so I'm not sure, and it would only be in reruns.

I think it used to be on the ABC Family Channel. When it was first-run I used to set my VCR to tape the episodes if I couldn't be home to see them, that's how much I love them! ;)

Darn, see what I miss without cable?

Maybe I can get my oldest son to tape some for me. I don't know what happened to those that I'd had, I think my youngest used them for whatever else suited his fancy, I can't find them now. :hmm:

They are on every night (Mon-Fri)on ABC Family from 11-12 pm est. So 2 episodes a night!

Let me know if your son can't tape some for you, I can probably tape you a few tapes worth!

Bless your heart Holly, it's very sweet of you to offer, but I'll mention it to Chris, I don't think he'll mind, he's pretty good about things like that.

Off the subject for a moment here, we both also share a love of "Most Haunted" so he tapes those as well and when I see him we sit down and watch them. Our tastes are pretty similar, thank heaven!

But thank you for your kindness! :)

Here is something from the British version of Whose Line. It has Greg Proops, Caroline Quentin, Colin Mochrie and Ryan Stiles. *evil look*

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2TVpSYKtl-g

Gonna see if I can find some Tony Slatter and John Sessions stuff. >:)

Merry, I'm so happy to discover the old eps of Whose line at you Tube. *ehehehehehe*

*Note to Mods* If you feel if this is a duplicate thread, feel free. I thought Merry's thread was about Greatest Hits and I thought I'd start a thread about the whole show of Whose Line. Feel free to merge the who.

Okay, I know Merry is a huge Whose Line fan (who've known each other from The Ryan Stiles Giraffe Board").
I prefer the UK version with Clive (no neck) Anderson as host. My favorite performers were: Tony Slattery, Ryan Stiles, Wayne Brady, Colin Mochrie, Josie Lawerence and John Sessions (yes, I LIKED the egotiscial performer).

Here is a bartender clip I found at You Tube. Remember The Neon Love Chicken? ?P

I know that Merry is a fan of Whose Line, but I was wondering who else here is a "Whoser" (fan of Whose Line)? Did you like the UK show? How about the US version? Who was your favorite performer?

I liked the UK version over the US version. I don't know but the British wit was very funny. The US version had it's moments, but even though I love Drew Carey, I just thought it wasn't as funny.
My favorite performers were:
Wayne Brady
Tony Slattery
Josie Lawerence
John Sessions
Ryan Stiles
Colin Mochrie
Chip Esten
Sandi Toksvig
Caroline Quentin

If you type in Whose Line is it Anyway and a performer from the show you'll get some clips from the shows. YouTube has a ton of them.

Here is one of them with Tony Slattery and John Sessions.

Yeah ... I like that show too (UK and US versions), and by the way that had to have been the best Yoko Ono song I've ever heard.

I wish they'd make a new UK series... when it was at it's peak it was hilarious!

I actually watched some of the first UK series of 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' a couple of weeks ago and all I can say is that I'm glad it got better!

I wish they would do another British version. I liked it better than the US version. It would be great to see some of the old performers like Tony Slattery, Josie Lawerence, Jim Sweeney, Steve Steen, Paul Merton, John Sessions, Sandi Toksvig, and even Stephen Fry. I actually got into Stephen Fry because of Whose Line.
