OK, boys and girls, England is next!!! I was wrong on the final result but the "0" was in the right place and that's what counts.
No a good game for people with heart diseases. I had never suffered this much for a football match, not even in the Euro 2004 during the penalties with England. Remember that?
We will be playing against England without Costinha and Deco but, I hope, Cristiano Ronaldo will recover from the agression he suffered today. So, my bet is Portugal, 2 - England, 1. Oops, sorry, it's not that match yet! Italy, 2 - Australia, 1 Switzerland, 0 - Ukraine, 2 |

That wasn't even a penalty. Some referees need to be whipped in public. On a sidenote, I predicted a game correctly for the first time! Woo! I really wanted Australia to win, though. I liked both Switzerland and Ukraine but I'm happy Ukraine won in the end. |

in greek we have many letters that sound the same; for the 'ee' sound which is somehow included in your name (in the way we could say it with the greek accent anyway ) we have five different letters or combinations of letters. It is very possible that I wrote your name a certain way and someone else did differently.I have to go to uni now, but when I come back I'll make you an image of some different ways to write your name and also your girls' names, and I will post it; and maybe you can show me how it was written for you before. ps: I always sleep very late if I don't have to wake up early the next day

I think Cristiano Ronaldo is going to be - rightly - the most hated man in the Premiership... if he wasn't already. Smug, arrogant, nasty b*stard he is. Ferguson will probably think he's a hero. |

Basically we just need to be better at taking penalties in my opinion and concentrate more on scoring than just defending. |

he wants away apparently. drag the swede but here and put in charge of Basingstoke Town then shoot everyone on the FA committee who appointed then hang draw and quarter the gets who gave him an increase to 6 million quid. now for Lampard i have something special in mind beat the crap out of him and make him play for Cowenbeath. well done the ref and hargreaves, gerrard, crouchie. someone please explain to the coles what an overlapping move - arces of space on left no i'll overlap him on the inside oh i am being overlapped i'll go inside - result CRAP. hard luck jamie lad but it says alot when a defender comes on for penalties where were your balls the rest of you!! CARRA is no Phil Neal sh*t Gerrard is no Phil Neal. |

Well, we're out and it makes my blood boil at the manner of our despatch but the truth was, we didn't do enough in this tournament to really suggest that we could have gone all the way. We were, at best, boring but competent and, at worst, inept in front of goal and always conceeding posession. It's frustrating being an England supporter when you know the ability of these players, but they can't convert their ability into a performance whilst wearing the Three Lions. I have to give praise to Owen Hargreaves - by far the best performance in an England shirt so far and, for once, he justified his inclusion. Lampard had a nightmare of a tournament... I don't know what's happened to him. The Rooney sending off... I think that should have been a yellow at worst - but he wasn't having the best game either. The centre backs, Terry and Ferdinand, were absolutely superb and they can be proud of their efforts today. Anyway - good riddance Eriksson... his record looks good on paper, but the performances have been largely uninspiring. Boring, negative Swedish football, Serie A style. Having said that, the thought of McClaren taking over hardly fills me with joy either. In the words of Homer Simpson... "D'Oh!"

go france. Anyway, back to the england issue; I made a joke when I saw the ref was Argentinian, I said to my boyfriend "hey it could be worse, they could have picked a scotsman". Little did I know that I would have to laugh bitterly in the end. That's what sending Rooney off was... a JOKE. But what did I expect. I hope France wins this sh*t of a tournament. Ugh, supporting England is torture. But then again, that's all I can do. |

it is no problem if you understand football and you permanently call the commentators w*nkers and dont believe a word the press saids. Lampard is a pile of sh*t - he has never performed well against decent european opposition in the champions league and internationally somebody please tell me when he has played well, remember it's a team game. he is from london and plays for a london club oh wait guess where the papers are printed. |

no in terms of trophys only two of the top four european countries are present ie Italy and Germany they would have been joined by England and Spain. i have missed one game so far this tournament but have not felt the excitement that the commentators have but then again i aint selling anything. |

No a good game for people with heart diseases. I had never suffered this much for a football match, not even in the Euro 2004 during the penalties with England. Remember that?

Congratulations to kink and Svenn who both got the Italy score spot on.
(sorry if I spelt your name wrong :()
) we have five different letters or combinations of letters. It is very possible that I wrote your name a certain way and someone else did differently.
