Brazil are playing well! Great goals, but the Japanese keeper is having a bad day. He really should have saved the second goal from Brazil.

How was the match ??? when did you get back ?

I got back home last night. The match was fantastic Jayne I really enjoyed it :D

Cologne was teaming with fans wearing English Sweedish and German flags it was a great atmosphere, very freindly. All the fans were mixing together beforehand, it was great fun. The stadium was brilliant. I think I might have got some good photo's of the players warming up before the match, not really many during the actual match 'cos I was too busy watching it. I'm not sure if I know how to post them here though I'll see what I can do.

So, that's the end of the group stages - we have our last 16 and, thankfully, England and Australia are two of them! OK, we're into the last 16 - here's where things change a little because we're into knockout games. The scoring will change a little.

You will now get 5 points for correctly predicting the correct score of the game (at the end of full or extra-time if applicable), unless you correctly predict a draw with the correct score, for which you'll get 3 points and then a further 2 points for guessing who will win the penalty shoot out.

A correct prediction, without the correct score, will still score 1 point, but if you guess a draw with the wrong score but correctly guess who will win the penalty shoot out, you'll still get the extra 2 points for guessing the winners of the penalty shoot out.

I hope I've explained that clearly - if anyone has questions, please ask! ^_^

Doh! I sent that, walked away, and then came back to change it before anybody saw it.

Oh well. Forgive an ignorant Yank, will ya?

Sorry, English friends! Equador is set to become the surprise of this World Cup! As for Portugal, I'm not that confident, but let's pretend I am. ;)

Ecuador have already suprised many people by their performances so far in this world cup and I don't think they're beyond surprising people again today but if England played Ecuador ten times, I'm sure they'd win perhaps seven of those matches... let's hope the match today isn't one of those three! ^_^

C'mon England! :D
