My absolute favorite beer in the world is a Belgian brew called Duvel. It is a complex beer that has the complexity of a lager but the taste of a pilsner. The bubbles in the head are champagne-like. And it ain't cheap! $10.99 USD for a four pack of 330ml bottles! But it is my "special occasion" beer. What beers do you enjoy? |

I enjoy a Stella Artois occasionally, or a Victoria Bitter, but my tipple of choice is Bulmer's cider. Does that count? |

If it's fermented, carbonated, in a bottle, and not champagne, it's OK with me!

Greg Norman Estates makes an awesome Shiraz! He's a HUGE prick personally, but his vintners make some really good wines! |

Oh yeah, now you're talking Chad!!
I am a lager, sout and ale girl, my main beers are the following (and remember I went to MSU, majored in drinking!): Newcastle Guniness Bass Boddington's Stella Atrois Wellington (Canadian) Harp Yeah, I go for all the thick stuff! But it's so good. I want a newcastle actually, but wee bit too early in the day... |

Nancy I can help you that! For good and affordable beer, try Labatt's. It's pretty good, most like it. A lot of parties I've been to have that or Miller High Life, and for some reason, Pabts Blue Ribbon. That stuff is NASTY! Ugh.. I'm also a vodka girl, esp in my cosmos! Big martini drinker! |

I like this beer called "on tap" .... j/k Actually Killians (sp) Red is good that way (Bikerlikeanicon) many of them are.... as far as cans ... Nancy ..... bottles are the way to go For cans you could probably stick with a basic ... Budweiser, Miller, ...type of beer (when and if you go to a bar type of place ... look around to see what the most common beer is ...and consider that for a party) |

Ale and stout for me. Lager's a bit like p*ss, but I occasionally enjoy a Carling or something. My favourite is John Smith's, followed by Tetley's, Murphy's, Newcastle, Guinness, Boddington's (I've had it in Manchester as a "local treat" and draught is so much better than canned) etc. Mainly United Kingdom and Ireland that is. The worst beer I have tasted is Stella Artois and some poison called Judas. |

I like to have a little bit of everything. I can't understand peole who drink VB all night. I'm quite fond of boutique brews, especially Grand Ridge which is about 45 minutes up the road from me. www.grand-ridge.com.au If I'm having a few quiet ones at home, I'll often (but not always) opt for Cascade Premium James Squire's Amber Coopers VB Original Ale (a reproduction of the original recipe, not the vile stuff that fuels just about every party you go to) I used to love Fosters Extra but they don't make it any more. |

Same here. Local Guinness is just an imprint made by Carlton and it's vile. I only ever go for the imported stuff. I have to say I didn't mind Bud. Miller doesn't do much for me. But I am most partial to a Sam Adams, and I tried a Portland Honey beer that was quite nice. |

It's an American knock-off of an Irish Red recipe. It's made by Coor's in Golden, Colorado. Sort of a lager, I guess. Not a bad brew, but not my first choice by a long shot, it was more of an impulse buy tonight. |
