Hehe, I've been there once but didn't see much of the actual town itself.

Some great pics from filming at the Globe here - http://community.livejournal.com/tennant_l...355.html#cutid1

Apparently Charlotte Church and Todd Carty are going to do a Doctor Who spoof on her show tomorrow night! - http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2006410541,,00.html

'Unfortunately' I'll be out tomorrow night, so I'll miss it but from what I saw of her show last time it didn't really seem like my kind of thing!

Yeah, not too sure if I'll be watching that. The Friday Night Project was only really good because Billie was there and also presenting it.

I need to put on some relaxing music because I'm starting to get nervous for my interview tomorrow - any suggestions?

Ooh, gosh, this is something I'll have to consider in the near future!

I normally go with classical music when trying to relax, like Debussy or something. Or maybe Katie Melua.

PS. All the best with the interview - sure you'll be fine!

Thank you! Yes, I saw a few episodes and I was amazed at how good they are. Doctor Who and Life On Mars are the best programmes the BBC have done in a very long time.

Let's hope it's the beginning of a new golden age.

Yeah, I think a lot of people would agree with that!

One of the episodes of series 2 of Doctor Who was written by Matthew Graham - co-creator of Life On Mars!

Ooooh, didn't know that.

My son is a big fan of Series 2 as well so I'll probably end up buying that when it comes out as a box set.

Fear Her, he was going to write one for series three too but he's pulled out due to lack of time. He's also interested in reviving Blake's 7.

Hmm, I wouldn't be surprised if this was true. There's excerpts from a new Russell T Davies interview over at www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho where he says series 4 is almost certainly going to happen!

Enjoy that Paulrus. I thought 'Secret Smile' was good, but not as good as Blckpool (Viva Blackpool) or Casanova. This had nothing to do with the fact that 'Secret Smile' was more chilling and I''m a wimp - I'm not that bad.. Its definately worth a watch, ITV grabbed David to do this not long before he started filming for series 2 of Doctor Who.

Great choice Matt, I'm not too sure yet, there are a couple of great ones to choose from.

How many spinoffs can one show have?! :D

Also good news for Eighth Doctor fans - Doctor Eight for BBC7
I'll be really interested to hear Sheridan Smith as the 8th Docs companion. So that's another actress from "2 Pints" that we've had in Doctor Who!

Yeah, I think Torchwood is due end of next month!

Very true, I only watch 2 Pints when its late night repeats - seems to be all BBC3 shows at the moment! Although they have been repeating Who a lot, as my brother keeps reminding me whenever he flicks over and sees it's on.

Wow! That's a loaded question.

Best director I'm going to go with Graham Harper.
Best script writer, I'll be boring and say Robert Holmes.

Wow, well looks like I missed quite the party here :D

Although I have been partying hard all weekend - and now I neeeed sleep! I'll try and recall what I've been up to when I'm less tired, although I will say Sylvester McCoy is brilliant, and once you get talking to John Levene he doesn't stop!!

Yeah, he's certainly quite a character!

If you head over to www.paulmccartney.com you can watch a TV advert for Ecce Cor Meum, which is voiced by son of the 3rd Doctor Sean Pertwee!

I might check that then, is it any good. I bought The Sunday Times at the airport and saw what happened at Pauls press conference.

I got the album yesterday, and as a classical music fan I think it's very good. Growing on me every time I listen to it.

Well I guess I was in a prime place for gathering gossip last weekend, however I can't remember any! Probably cause I spent too much time in the (expensive!) hotel bar! :D

I know they were filming Torchwood over the weekend, because one of the actors who was due to be at the Con (Paul Kasey) was unable to attend because he was filming for Torchwood.

Well if the Children in Need bash is happening this year. I hope they do have one.

I'd like to go to the Albert Hall concert, but it's a question of money and transport. I think all the cheap tickets are gone now!!

Seems the cheapest tickets left are £40. True, if it was him performing then I'd be there like a shot, but I've never been to the Royal Albert Hall before so it would be great to be there. And I'd imagine Paul will be in attendance.

Aha! Well it was very interesting - tracing his family history back to Londonderry in Ireland, and all the Catholic/Protestant troubles.
His grandfather was a footballer, and his grandmother was a local beauty queen - the Posh and Becks of their time David said :D

Ah well glad you enjoyed it. Those programmes are always great even if you don't know the celeb as it traces back some interesting history. I find history quite interesting and enjoyed it as an A'Level but was much better at A'Level Geography.

I always preferred history to geography, but I only did it at GCSE :)

So any more 'Who' gossip? I wonder if they will do a special Children In Need Episode like last year. I suppose there is less reason to this time as the Doctor is the same.

Well I'll certainly see what the pilots like, hopefully it'll be worth while. It's is Sarah Jane Smith after all, the best companion ever!
