Any new theories about who took the Master's ring after last night?

Hmm, interesting thought!
And suurely Jenny is coming back at some point, after that ending!

I'm sure she's coming back after what David Tennent said on Confidential last night.

Having now just watched Confidential, I heartily agree! :D

Loved tonights episode and was great to see David work with Fennella (not sure if that how her name is spelt) I've seen her and David in 'Bright Young Things' a film set in a similar period to this episode.

Ooh must do surely I reckon!

And yes I agree that Fenella Wollgar was fantastic as Agatha Christie.

Apparently we're going to get a trailer for the rest of the series next week, just before Eurovision. So sliight consolation, but i would have preferred the next ep (Looks fab, and has gotta be good seeing as its Mr Moffat!)

Looking forward to that then. It would have been good if the episode break was the week after when we are all in Liverpool. I may watch it anyway in my room depending on what I'm doing that night.

Yeah thats a good point! Still not sure what I'm doing that weekend yet, whether I'll travel up on the Sat or Sun.
I've been counting the Saturdays and it looks like I'm going to be out on the evening of the final episode! :o
Ah well, as long as I record it!

I'm beginning to wonder if the whole ecological subtexted this series is more than just a coincidece? Apart from the thing about the bees we've also had air pollution (The Poision Sky), global warming (The Fires Of Pompeii),an artificial eco system (The Doctor's Daughter) and a group called Freinds of the ood (Planet Of The Ood)! Anything else?

Ah yess, excellent trailer!

Hmm Mark, yes I wonder.... :D Notice the absence of a Dalek plunger or gun on the midsection, and the additional blue light on the right hand side which could match up with an instrument panel at the top of the Dalek lower half... ;)

Ah yes the 'Darkness', didn't Gwyneth mention that to Rose waaay back in series 1 episode three?
Apparently this finale has been being built up to for quite a while!

I have heard that a third series is planned for next year but will be shorter, with only five episodes making up one five part story. This isn't officially confirmed by the BBC but has been banded about several places. However Molly, if you're looking forward to a bit more Torchwood wait till episodes 12 and 13 of the latest series of Doctor Who or a new full cast radio play coming soon.

Okay, I just FINALLY saw the season finale of Dr. Who and OMG!!!!! Does anyone know if David Tennant is coming back?
I saw an interview with Sylvester McCoy on YouTube and he was on some morning program in the UK and they were talking about who would be a good replacement for the Doctor. Daniel Radcliff was mentioned and I was like, "NO WAY!!!" I'd actually like to see Stephen Fry as the Doctor.

I'm quite interested to see him now, looks like a good choice. He was good in that Billie Piper thing, The Ruby and the Smoke I watched a couple of years ago. The funniest rumour I ever heard was Paul Daniels for the Ninth Doctor.

I'm interested too. I have already seen that some people are not impressed as he is not as attractive as David etc etc. To be honest I get quite fed up with people who always judge a book by its cover. Lets hope in 2010 we'll still be positive.

Since Patrick Troughton replaced William Hartnel people have been complaining about the new boy long before having a chance to see them play the role. Some people already seem to be knocking him for being an unknown yet he has had a couple of lead roles on telly. Tom Baker was working on a building site when he got the role and was a real unknown, now look at him!

Ten things you didn't know about the new Doctor

1. Matt once went to Alcoholic Anonymous meetings to research a part.

2. His sister Laura is a dancer. She toured with Take That.

3. He acted with Hollywood superstar Christian Slater in the West End play Swimming With Sharks.

4. He didn’t go to drama school.

5. He was named by Vogue as a young actor to look out for.

6. He’s best friends with acting twins Luke and Harry Treadaway, who starred in horror The Disappeared.

7. He fell for a girl on a 2-week hol in Brazil— and stayed 6 weeks.

8. He excelled at sport at school.

9. A bad back stopped him being a footy pro.

10. He is three years younger than the previous youngest Doc Peter Davison, who was 29.

Darn... I was gonna enter but according to T&C it is only open to British residents... Being a bit of a coin collector I would've like to win a coin...

It gives me great sadness to announce that James Cordon will be appearing in the next series of Doctor Who.

This made me laugh, good old Daily Mail:-

The Daily Mail has taken exception to the length of Amy Pond's skirt in the upcoming series of Doctor Who.

Writing in the Femail section, columnist Allison Pearson displays a woeful ignorance of the series when she asks "since when was Doctor Who's assistant supposed to be sexy?" and makes a plea to keep Doctor Who as family TV.

As any Doctor Who fan could tell her, the Doctor has a long tradition of travelling with sexy companions in short skirts which dates right back to the sixties.

What's next she asks, "Cybermen become Cyberchicks with metal boobs?" Perhaps she should view Torchwood's Cyberwoman

This isn't quite as provacative as Katy... but what about Nicola Bryant in a wet pink string bikini in Planet of Fire... I admit I taped the story back in the early 80's just because of that scene alone

Last week, John Barrowman started his stint on Desperate Housewives. I missed it, but caught a clip from it and he looks very evil. Tonight's episode is a repeat, but next week's new.
