No to both questions Matt. Are they any good? Good to hear that you are enjoying the Invasion series. Did you get series 2 for Christmas? I haven't seen anymore of my series 1 dvd set as I've been a bit busy. |

Yep, I got the series 2 boxset. Haven't watched much of it, except some of the outtakes which are quite entertaining! I haven't actually listened to any of the BBC7 series either, but I have heard some good reviews. I might buy them on CD from Big Finish. |

Evening all. How is everyone? I watched 'Dracula' finally yesterday (Marc Warren) and I quite liked it. I think I'd give it 3.5/5 maybe even a 4. Back to Doctor Who, after talking to some of my 'Who' workmates, the general opinion like mine is that the Invasion was much better. Many were just put off by Catherine Tate. |

Hehe, it was certainly a claim to fame! The latest DWM is pretty good, with a nice big feature on the making of The Runaway Bride, and plenty of series 3 news. Remember when I was working on that Doctor Who music video? I kinda forgot about it for quite a while due to Uni work etc, then I came across it today. It isn't really complete, but I thought I'd post what I have done for people to see! You can download it here - Music Video The quality is a bit low, cause I had to compress the file so I could upload it easily. |

But does The Doctor's work now. He fixed it in Attack Of The Cybermen and in the new adventures books the Doctor says he only keeps it as a police box because he likes it like that. Then the 8th Doctor sayes the cloacking device is jammed. |

Well the 8th Doctor says it got jammed, but he likes it how it is. I reckon he could fix it if he really wanted to. It doesn't seem to cause him that many problems looking the way it does anyway. He was always parking it in the street and around by Rose's estate without causing too much fuss! |

Yeah, that's true. There are video screens, but it's always good to be able to see the performaces in person. If I hadn't spent many hours working my way to the front, I probably wouldn't have had much of a view of Macca. It seems like the security measures are going to make it near impossible for tickets to be sold on eBay now, so you'd probably only be able to get them the official way. Well I've just got my 'New Beginnings' boxset, so I might have to watch that and then go back to watching series 2

Ah, just watched Logopolis. Brill story, the New Beginnings boxset is fab! After Castrovalva I'll be watching them all again with commentaries. It'll be odd to hear Anthony Ainley on there. |

Morning Wholigans. David Tennant and Sarah Parish will star in a drama together and I think you can get tickets for its first screening: 14/02/2007 - BAFTA Recovery Screening (UK) 18:15 Reception 18:45 Screening Princess Anne Theatre Dir: Andy de Emmony Scr: Tony Marchant Cast: David Tennant / Sarah Parish / Harry Treadaway / Jacob Theato / Jay Simpson A Tiger Aspect Production for BBC One Followed by a Q&A with Tony Marchant and members of the crew. In this powerful drama from BAFTA-winning writer Tony Marchant, David Tennant and Sarah Parish star as happily married couple Alan and Tricia Hamilton. He's the head of a building firm and on top of his game, and she's a part-time beautician and a mother to their two sons. One day their perfect, if unremarkable, life is torn apart when Alan steps out in front of a passing car after a last minute decision to pop out for a quick drink. The resulting accident leaves him in a deep coma but with remarkably few physical injuries. Desperately worried, Tricia is delighted when he comes round, only to discover that the man she loved has disappeared. His behaviour has changed, he's lost all of his inhibitions and he veers from angry and frustrated to vulnerable and childlike. Their relationship is put under intolerable stress as Tricia tries to find the husband she loves - while fearing that she may have lost him forever. Booking: To reserve a place in advance, please e-mail events@bafta.org or call 020 7292 5858. Academy Members: Free Non-Members: £10 |

Well here's a competition for you (it also depends on who is online first I guess), who without editing and in one post can produce a list of all the Eastenders folks that have or will appear in Doctor Who. 2 points per character. You can get another two if they have appeared in another episode as that takes skill to know it all. Good luck. As I'm really bad at this I'll just watch you two fans who know their stuff.

DALEKS INVADE BEANO By Louise Hosie 10/02/2007 DOCTOR Who, celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, and chat king Jonathan Ross are to appear in a special edition of the Beano for Comic Relief. The Doctor, played on BBC1 by David Tennant, and the Daleks face off the Bash Street Kids, Jamie takes over a school canteen, and Jonathan tackles Dennis the Menace in the new BeanoMAX comic, out next week. Euan Kerr, BeanoMAX editor, said: "The personalities have all been great sports. Dennis and the rest have promised to be gentle with them." Monthly BeanoMAX is aimed at readers aged nine to 13. COMIC Relief boss Kevin Cahill collected his CBE from the Queen today - but didn't wear a red nose to the Palace. He said: "I didn't think it would be appropriate." http://www.mirror.co.uk/showbiz/tm_headlin...-name_page.html |

Hello everyone. I watched most of Life On Mars last Tuesday for the first time, but unfortunately fell asleep at the end. (That might have been because I stayed up the night before watch Coldplay on TV). As I'm seeing this band March 30th I thought Id invite them to this thread as they also bring the Doctor. http://i7.tinypic.com/4ig1th0.jpg http://i19.tinypic.com/2q8vcrr.jpg All taken from last years NME book which was quite a good read. Anyone with a previous Doctor and The Who would be much appreciated.

Hiya, Is it true from what I've been reading that John Simm (aka Sam Tyler from "Life on Mars") is going to be cast as the Master?! They are bringing The Master back, finally? This from Wikipedia on John SImm: "In February 2007, it was reported that Simm is to appear in the forthcoming third series of the BBC science fiction series Doctor Who, in the role of the Master, the Doctor's evil nemesis. The casting has yet to be confirmed by the BBC, and Simm himself neither confirmed nor denied such claims on BBC 6 Music in a February 13, 2007 interview. On February 21 Simm was seen in the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff playing the newly elected British Prime Minister Mr. Saxon, in scenes being shot for the final two episodes of the 2007 series of Doctor Who." ![]() How similar their jackets look? So, will the Master be regenerated from his incarnation from the 1996 Fox tv movie to John Simm? = ![]() or will The Master regenerate from the Anthony Ainley Master? =

Sadley The Master won't regenerate from Anthony Ainly as he passed away about 5 years ago. Nothing has been confirmed yet but the rumour is that The Master will return playefd by Sir Derek Jacobi then regenerate into John Simm. Remember that so far these rumours have about a 50% of truthfulness. That goodness that there has been no metion of Eric Roberts returning to the part though. The Macra are also rumoured to be returning this year. |
