BILLIE: I DON'T ENVY MACCA AND HEATHER

Ive been reading some of the book now. But have also been told by someone about her Swindon days.

Not surprised some have ended up on eBay already! As mine's dedicated I couldn't sell it anyway, not that I ever would of course!! :D

Yeah, there's certainly a world of difference between the way in which Billie and Chris split up, and the Macca/Mills saga.

I don't think she dedicated them to anyone at previous signings. But they didn't have the message I had :D Only her signature. I don't think I'll sell mine, only if I was desperate for cash to fund a Paul concert.

Well I finished the book this evening - must be a record for me! I thought it was a great read and very honest.

Only problem I had was that she always spelt Chris Eccleston's name wrong! :D

Wow Matt, I haven't got that far at all. I've been reading it on the bus to work (trying at the same time not to damage it). I think I'll try and continue tomorrow. So was it worth it that queuing? What would you give it out of 10?

Yeah, definitely worth the q!
Out of 10 I'd give it a good 8. A bit more on Who would have been nice, but of course she had to cover her whole life! Some good moral messages in there too, that came out of all her troubles during pop-stardom.

In that video link you posted, she said there was some Who gossip for all the Whovians out there.

I'm I reading the wrong papers? There's stuff about Simon Cowell talking about himself, Micheal Barrymore prostituting himself to TV execs and the cast of Corrination Street throughing a hissy fit but not a word on Doctor Who's hatrick to years running.

It doesn't matter Mark - Doctor Who and Eastenders (i.e. The BBC won! :D ) and why has it taken so long for Sir David Attenborough to finally get recognition? He is an icon.
John Barrowman is in the 60 second Metro interview today and is featured in Hello!

I also remember hearing booing when they named Christopher as the best actor. It may have been due to the Tory MPs presenting it, but still it wasn't necessary after the winner was named.

And why wasn't the life time achivement the final award. It seemed a bit of an anti-climax to finish with the award for being Eastenders.

Just a quick hello having just got back from Dimensions 2006 convention - what a superb weekend! Was brill to see Paul McGann, Sylvester McCoy and Daphne Ashbrook on stage together. Especially as I really like the TV Movie :D
The new series guests were great too, especially MyAnna Buring (Scooti from The Impossible Planet).
However, I need to go to bed now as I only had 2 hours sleep last night!

Don't know but I bet American shows still pay more. I remember Sylvester McCoy saying he was paid more for the 15 minutes he appeared in at the start of the American 1996 Doctor Who TV Movie than he was for the whole 3 years he played the Doctor on BBC.

Slight improvement on last years box set, no out takes on that and not even the alternative end but still far behind the excellent classic series realises.

Wowoweah! Check this out:

David will be taking part in a Doctor Who Weakest Link Special for Christmas. The show will be recorded on Tuesday 21st November at the Pinewood Studios. David is expected to be joined by Freema Agyeman, and an assortment of characters from the series.
Apparently you can get tickets for it (it may now be too late but if you are going to London anyway to queue for Paul this could make the day even better):

Yes Happy Birthday!

Christmas is coming and the BBC have revealed their fantastic festive line up, the highlight of which is of course the Doctor Who Christmas Special, The Runaway Bride!
The BBC Press Office say: On BBC One Doctor Who re-materialises for a one-off special episode in which The Doctor (David Tennant) finds himself with a new companion Donna (Catherine Tate) - but she's late for her wedding…

So....the countown begins! (I remember doing this last year! :D )

That's interesting, because in other places I've heard her say that she might consider it in the distant future, when both she and David have been away from the show for long enough. Still, Paul McGann said he'd never do a convention, and I saw him at one a few weeks ago :D

If you are referring to Torchwood Mark, I was only half watching it as I was doing something. But it did look good and it had a Daniela, so not completely spelt the same as mine but similar. :D
I went into Virgin Megastore yesterday, and as I saw loads of TV boxsets I was hoping to see series one in the sale. £69.99! Oh well I will just have to wait.

Cool, Matt and I actually saw the Santas from last year in Cardiff. :D I'll look forward to seeing the adverts, probably around Eastenders or the news time.

Lol! :)

Quite surprising actually, I thought Tom would have got it.

I haven't seen the trailer, but I have seen a 4 minute clip of the scene in question. It's here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-cZI8VQwU4

Obviously don't look of you are avoiding spoilers of all kinds, but it is pretty exciting!!! :D

Right, can one of you explain what mark meant by Crippin? (Obviously still unaware of all the 'Who' lingo).

Not really a 'Who' pun, just that Crippen was the name of an infamous Doctor! :) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hawley_Harvey_Crippen

Thanks for that Matt. I saw the new DWM yesterday and also UNCUT had a Beatles feature. I didn't buy either, I've decided Im spending too much on magazines and my head was saying 'Muse.' (Tickets for their Wembley Stadium concert go on sale tomorrow).

I just caught some of Billie on a Richard and Judy Book show. I didn't know she was on so didn't see it all. But she looked good. Was mainly talking about her book, her dog Baxter, that she was staying in the UK over Xmas, her Pullman drama thats coming up and an ITV drama too.

2 weeks until Christmas Day! And again I'm not here so I'll either have to wait or ask a friend in France who has Sky if they can record it for me.
I hope all the Wholigans are well - I am going to see Muse in June at Wembley Stadium. :boogie:

I haven't seen much lately either, but I am sure that BBC Three will be repeating a load of it.

Great news about the second series. I tried using that link for the trailer, but it keeps on buffering, maybe my connection is slow. I wish it was like Youtube where you pause it until its fully loaded - what I did see looked cool anyway. :)

I remember watching Wackaday when I used to come here every summer when I was a kid, and Mallets Mallet. (You might have been a bit too young Matt because my brother was a toddler I think when it was on). Mark did you watch that? :D
