I guess anyone can post any number of photos they like, really. It's down to the individual to decide how much is "too much". Just as it's up to other members if they want to comment about the quantity of others' photos. ;)
...and in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make.

How is the tent fastened to the floor? I hope you didn't drive the stakes through the floor like I would do. That's how I keep my Christmas tree in place with all the critters in the house!

You guys look like a couple of big kids, you the bigger one Lee! I see the cat is enjoying herself as well.

It's fun to know that everything is an adventure with you two, from eating at Denny's to camping indoors.

Thanks temptress and Barb! We are having the adventure of our lives and I do get carried away documenting it here, on Sean's forum and my Facebook (probably the most appropriate place to post 67 pictures and 19 videos!). It's so difficult being so much in love because eveything seems so wonderful most of the time and you just want to shout it out from the rooftops, but there are definitely people who do not want to hear about it and I try to be sensitive to their feelings.

i got an idea, lee. just have your own thread with your pix and then people that want to see them can, and people that don't, don't have to. i will agree some of the bigger pix slow my computer drastically but i still enjoy seeing them. maybe i don't have a life and am living vicariously through someone else. hah! anyway, OPEN YOUR OWN THREAD. i'll go there and i'm sure others will, too. i'm enjoying the adventures of Lee and Tina!!!

perhaps people that want to post a bulk of photos should do the same and leave this for the odd pic of interest.

I considered starting a separate thread, like I did on Sean's, but for some reason I felt as though I wouldn't be posting as many pics here, since I don't have as many friends here who are interested in Vegas. I will do that next time. Sorry for inconveniencing so many people and slowing down your computers. I will also start using the smaller image size next time as well.

You're welcome but I think this was a lesson for all that tend to post a lot of pictures all at once. It is up to our discretion but I think some restraint should used.

I loved Love. I love Cirque Du Soleil shows. I hate circuses, it's the animal issues that I totally disdain, but love these shows.

For those of you going to the Hollywood Bowl, I found some pictures that I took last year at their Easter Sunrise Services. This may give you an idea of the view. I think these were taken like the last row of box seats:

I agree with you about circuses. I think they are cruel places to keep animals and the animals shouldn't be made to perform. I am also leaning against Sea World after the recent incident of the Orca killing a trainer.

Ok seriously. Leave Lee alone.

First of all, There is no rule (that I know of) on how many photo's a person can post/share.
Second of all, a few of you were being rude, not to mention inconsiderate.
Thirdly, if you don't wish to see his photo's or anything else, then don't look, Simple Enough!
And Lastly, was it really necessary to sit there and b*tch about having to look at them when you could have just scrolled right past? I do agree, that some of the pictures were abit on the large side. Other than that, I saw nothing wrong with it. Just a couple having fun in Vegas and wanting to share it with forum mates. So by all means Lee, keep sharing your pictures, videos or whatever you wish. (well lol, keep it PG 13)

Thanks Liz for the show of support! I actually agree with some of those who said that I posted too many pics and I think it would have been a good idea if I had started a separate thread for the Vegas pics and videos, which is what I will do on our next 'vacation of a lifetime'. I also might start posting pics in the slightly smaller website-size as opposed to the message board-size on tinypic.com so those on Dial Up don't have as much trouble scrolling past them.

Cathy-
Looking at the pics of the HB, it looks like seats are quite a distance from the stage.
Maybe it's just the angle of the pictures?
How close are the Pool and Garden section?

I think there is also an option where you can post an attachment of some sort that you could just click on to see the photo. That way, I don't think there would be an upload issue on slower computers. If you want to create your own thread go for it, but don't let others bring you down just because they didn't want to see your photos. ;)

I've never been able to afford being there but from what I've seen they're pretty close. Even on the free events, like Easter Sunrise Service, they don't really allow you there because the people who subscribe to those seats get first dibs. Closest I've been was the terrace and they were pretty close.

threads are there so people can write in them, post pictures in them and so on. That's what I did, I "said something" in the thread. I hate having to send PMs over such trivial matters.

Regarding all the rest, I have always, always hated arse kissing, and will never do it, not in this forum and not anywhere else. I was not rude or offensive to anyone, please stop the madness and the arse smooching simply because you don't like me. I had a valid comment to make and I made it, it's my right as a user of this forum. Whether I was "wrong" or "right" I don't know and I don't care, I stated a personal opinion regarding the quantity of the photographs which all look the same to me. Feedback is the main reason they are being posted anyway.

Thanks Temptress! I know a few people enjoy our adventures and root for us even if they feel our relationship is unorthodox. Once you have met someone, fallen in love, lived together for almost a year and things are going better than you have ever experienced in your 51 years, it's difficult to stop or hide it from others. I no longer bother. Those who know us best seem to approve, while those who don't know us very well or who aren't in love, seem to disapprove the most. Here are a couple of videos we took at the Gretchen Wilson concert.

2010-03-19 Gretchen Wilson - Barracuda - Holiday Inn Select, Lynchburg, VA (4:22)

2010-03-19 Gretchen Wilson - Classics - Holiday Inn Select, Lynchburg, VA (3:44)

Hendrix 'Voodoo Chile', Led Zep 'Whole Lotta Love/Heartbreaker', Edgar Winter 'Frankenstein', Lynyrd Skynyrd 'Sweet Home Alabama', Fleetwood Mac 'Rhianna', Ted Nugent 'Cat Scratch Fever', Lenny Kravitz 'Are You Gonna Go My Way?', Metallica 'Sandman', ACDC 'TNT', Nirvana 'Smells Like Teen Spirit', Heart 'Crazy On You', Kinks 'You Really Got Me', Roy Orbison 'Pretty Woman', Led Zep 'Kashmir'.

i guess i don't get it. do you get along with your dad? why would he do that? is your brother on the scene helping out? he sounds bitter about something.
I get along great with my dad. We pay most of his bills including his house mortgage, landline phone, cell phone, Internet and cable TV, plus we do all of the housework and take care of him since he had his heart attack and triple bypass surgery, but his Will was written in 1995 by my mother, with whom I did not get along well due to my leaving the church at age 16 to smoke pot and live in a commune. She passed away in October 2000 and my dad gave his copy of the Will, that she had written for him, to my brother for safekeeping. It was just now returned, but has not been opened yet. Her copy, which we have, has this clause in it:

I would like for my father to rewrite his Will without Article Four per his wishes and what he has been telling me for the past 15 years. I would also like to know the exact whereabouts of the missing jewelry.

that is SUCH a shame. i understand your mom but that was years ago and you have to 'let it go'. my daughter pulled a lot of crap but, in the end, she is my daughter and no one (other than my granddaughter) should be entitled to what i have left.

that will sounds like part of the money is yours but NOT REALLY yours until you die and then it goes to your heirs. your dad should really get moving. we never know when it's gonna be our time. does he just not want to go to a lawyer or something?

i did a very generic will and had four witnesses sign it. i guess if you mention the will people think you are greedy but that is really not the case at all. it's sad your brother sold the jewelry. some of it should have been keepsake to remember your mom.

your dad could probably do the same. just say that the will written in 1995 is null and void and state what his wishes are. it doesn't have to be difficult. then you can have it notarized and witnessed by a few people. maybe if it's that simple he would do it.

i don't know the law so can't say where you truly stand on it.

It's completely up to my father at this point. I have said all I am going to say on the matter. I have to keep paying his bills and taking care of him because that's what good sons do. My brother isn't able to help out because he lives in Norfolk, VA, over four hours away.

well, your brother should help out with the bills but, again, i don't know the deal. i don't know why it seems he might have been favored at one point. it's a sad story.

you hear about families fighting over everything after they lose a loved one...our family was nothing but kind and gentle and no one fought over anything. if it was meant to be it was meant to be. hope it gets resolved.

anyways, i gotta eat me some DiGiorno's now! cheese stuffed crust supreme!!!!

My brother can't help out because he lives in a 4000 sq. ft. house with three children and three cars, including a brand new Lexus SUV, only earning about $70k per year. I live on my wits and my $578 monthly SSI check. We are also off to watch Whip It!

on a happier note, here are some pix of my new kitty that i got about a month ago. some of you (or none of you) may remember i mentioned wanting this cat. she is 5 years old and she is FeLv+ (she is kept separate from my other two cats). she is just the sweetest thing ever. her name at the shelter was Miz Mellow but once i picked her up i felt like i was carrying a thanksgiving turkey, thus her name....JennieO.
she's doing wonderfully in my home. she's considered a permanent foster which means she's mine and all her medical care is free.

here she is in all her glory!

I love the aged look on that - not the typical in-camera sepia tone.

Aged look? Are you saying I've aged?
Well, I do resemble that remark...
