She is going to need more than a 3 wheeler by the time I'm done with her. She has told us to let her know when she makes unwise decisions. I did and got a email reply back adressed to headless. Now what kind of mother is that!?!
My sister has had her on the poop list for a while, now she is on mine!!!

Every since my dad died in Novemeber, mom has been changing. She is starting to spend money like crazy. I think it's because she is lonley and it gives her something to do. All my sister and I have heard for a while is that she is going to the poor house, now she has remodeled her house, got new carpet, and wants to buy a new car. Can I ship her off to England??? :D

Not to change the subject or anything, but my mother makes me SO MAD!
She is 81, only drives to the store and church and wants to buy a new car!!! WHY??? She doesn't need one.

When I visited my parents earlier this month, they had bought a new car. They are 83 and their car had 30,000 miles on it. My dad drives to the store, bowling and my mom to the beauty show. A few trips to Wally World. That's about it.

Worst part was they gave the old car to my sister. That's the fourth one they have given her. She bought a brand new car last year. I drive a 1994 Honda Civic with 90,000 miles on it. I can't make car payments. When I asked why they did that, they said the car wouldn't work in Colorado. I asked what they met and they said because of the altitude. Well, that's total rubbish and I told them so. Then they said I had no way of getting it here. I said I would have canceled the plane reservation and driven it back. End of conversation. She has now been given four cars. Think it's a coincidence that she has four children and the first two were totaled by the two oldest children?

I was blue and lonely,
I couldn’t sleep a wink
And I could only get unconscious
If I’d had to much to drink

There was somehow, something wrong somewhere,
And each day seemed grey and dead
The seeds of desperation
Were growing in my head

I needed inspiration,
A brand new start in life,
Somewhere to place affection,
But I didn’t want a wife

And then by lucky chance I saw
In a special magazine
An ad that was unusual,
The like I’d never seen,

’experience something different
With our new imported toy,
She’s loving, warm, inflatible
And a guarantee of joy’

She came all wrapped in cardboard,
All pink and shrivelled down
A breath of air was all she needed
To make her lose that frown

I took her to the bedroom
And pumped her with some life,
And later in a moment
That girl became my wife

And so I sit her in the corner
And sometimes stroke her hair
And when I’m feeling naughty
I blow her up with air

She’s cuddly and she’s bouncy,
She’s like a rubber ball,
I bounce her in the kitchen
And I bounce her in the hall

And now my life is different
Since rachel came my way
I wake up in the morning
And have her on a tray

She’s everything they say she was
And I wear a permanent grin,
And I only have to worry
In case my girl wears thin

Anna! That is wonderful!! It is a LONG road of recovery, but will be well worth it- it is a very serious procedure and will affect the rest of your life- I am happy for you but I am scared too- My sister has done quite well but has had some vitamin deficiency issues lately (after 2 years)- it is hard to get the right nutrition if you are not VERY aware- I know you will do fine and you know you have all of the support in the world here and with me-

BTW- lost all of my email addresses again- so email me!!

Two major computer losses in one summer is just NUTS!!

Great to hear from you- fill me in when you have time!

Lovely to see you here, Anna. Good news about the surgery... you don't need it, you're beautiful as you are, but if you're happy about it then I'm happy for you. ^_^
...and in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make.

Non?!?!?! TWO computers?!?! What ARE you doing to them?!

Same computer- first the hard drive went in May...so I replaced that...then I have no CLUE what happened! It just went crazy 2 weeks ago and I tried everything-I went through and replaced everything except the motherboard and processor one by one and it just would not run....I configured and recionfigured until i was going nuts- i finally said THAT'S IT- and went to Walmart and bought a cheap Compaq! My "good" computer is on the floor in pieces and I don't care! It is lucky to NOT be on the driveway smashed! LOL!!!

Anyway- I'm back!! :D :D

For all of you in England, I have a question.
I got the Traveling Wilburys CD. The words to Handle Me With Care are, I've been fobbed off. Is that like using the F word? Not sure what is meant. Just wondering.

Well, she got the new one yesterday. She won't tell anyone what she got. We are going Friday to pick up the old one, so I guess we will see it then. I think she wants it make a grand entrance with the car.
I'll let you know when we get back.
