| Forum Rules
Hi there! At Stargate Intel, we tend to be quite laid back and easygoing, but we do have our limits for tolerance. Here is a look at the rules and guidelines you'll need to follow. 1. Do not harass or single out other posters. 2. Do not talk unfavourable about other posters on the forum. 3. Keep any feuds, ill-feelings or disputes to Private Messaging. 4. Do not talk unfavourable about any other Sci Fi Sites or Forums. 5. Do not flame anyone, whether it's another poster, an actor or one of the shows' producers. 6. Keep bad language to a minimum, and preferably not at all. If you feel the need to swear, then perhaps this is not the best place to be. 7. Please try to keep ON TOPIC. We are very lenient with this rule, but if a topic deviates too much it will be snipped or closed. 8. Do not SPAM. We have recently had spamming problems, with people signing up just to plug their sites. 9. Signatures should be no more than 600 pixels wide, and 300 pixels high for EVERYTHING. Not just your images. 10. The Maximum avatar size is 100x100 pixels. 11. Use Spoilers Tags! Not sure how to use them? Look in the FAQ Section. 13. Spoiler threads should use the prefix [SPOILERS] 14. This rule also applied to threads in the news area, e.g. if you are reporting a new interview, please use the prefix [INTERVIEW]. 14. Use no more than 20 images OR smileys per post. 15. This is a PG-13 forum. Any posts that are breaking this rule will be deleted. Guidelines 1. If you want to discuss a certain topic, please try to look for another established thread on the subject. 2. If you start an off-topic conversation somewhere on the forum and want to continue it elsewhere, contact sueKay via PM and she will happily move your posts to a new topic for you. 3. If you have a problem regarding another member, contact sueKay or UhSir via PM with help for the situation. 4. Also, if you have an urgent technical problem or issue with the forum, contact UhSir or sueKay via PM or post on the forum. 5. Sometimes, the easiest way to contact us is via the Shoutbox. Familiarise yourself with how the Shoutbox works and we'll respond to you as quickly as possible. 6. Any other niggling worries or concerns? In the left hand menu, you should be able to see links for help and how to contact the Moderators. Drop them a message and they'll be happy to help! But above all else, make sure you have FUN! Thank you! sueKay and UhSir |
