Advanced Member Posts: 216 Group: Co-Admins Member #3 Joined: April 29, 2006	We know there's a lot of rumors circulating about the upcoming Star City Hot Wheels show, so we thought we'd set the record straight with this set of Frequently Asked Questions. 1) What happened to March 15? When the great location search began, we had to be flexible with the date. At the location we selected, March 15 was the date of a dog agility trials event. We were worried about parking. March 29 was the first available date. 2) Seriously? A Women's University? That's right. Hollins University is a women's university. The show is taking place while students are on campus. It will at least make things interesting, don't you think? 3) So, wait... what's the info again? March 29 from 9 am - 5 pm. Admission is $5; children under 12 FREE. We're still having all our normal events - customs, racing, children's scavenger hunt, etc., etc.

Coming from the north on I-81, take Exit 146, turn left onto Plantation Road, go to the first stoplight and turn left onto Williamson Road (Route 11 north), go approximately 1/2 mile, turn left into the campus entrance. Coming from the south on I-81, take Exit 146, turn right onto Plantation Road, go to the first stoplight and turn left onto Williamson Road (Route 11 north), go approximately 1/2 mile, turn left into the campus entrance. From Roanoke Regional Airport, turn right on Hershberger Road, take I-581 north for 2.6 miles until it intersects with I-81 north, bear right and take Exit 146, turn right onto Plantation Road, go to the first stoplight and turn left onto Williamson Road (Route 11 north), go approximately 1/2 mile, turn left into the campus entrance. From Greensboro, N.C., take Route 220 north until it runs into I-581 north. Travel 5.4 miles on I-581 until it intersects with I-81 north, take Exit 146, turn right onto Plantation Road, go to the first stoplight and turn left onto Williamson Road (Route 11 north), go approximately 1/2 mile, turn left into the campus entrance. From Fincastle, Covington, or Hot Springs, Va., (Route 220 south), take Route 220 south until it intersects with Route 11, turn right at the stoplight and follow Route 11 for 3.5 miles, turn right into the campus entrance. From Lynchburg, Va., (Route 460 west), turn right onto Alternate 220 and travel approximately 5 miles to the intersection of Alternate 220 and Route 11, turn left at the stoplight and travel south on Route 11 for 3.5 miles, turn right into the campus entrance.
