The Star City Hot Wheels Club will be sitting up the race track under the cover at the church for children to race on. Many members have donated cars to be given to the children to race with. It will be from 11am until 3pm in conjuntion with there Easter Egg Hunt. Over 3000 eggs will be hidden for the children to find. Many prises will be given to the children including bikes. Free food will be provided also.I am asking that ALL members that can, please be present to help with this great activity. New Life Temple has been great to us helping provide an outstanding place for our shows, so lets help them. Any cars members can donate would be a great help. Even Matchbox cars will be given out. This is all about the children and would be great for our club. Come on members lets make this a great even. I know this may cause a hardship for some but we need to think of others instead of ourselves. Hope to see as many as posible there. Thanks Fred

There was a great turnout for the Easter Egg hunt. It was so cold, in the 40's with the wind blowing, that we could not sit up our race track safely outside. Therefore we elected to give cars away still in the package. The children loved being able to pick out a free car to play with an take home. I would guess we gave away close to 150 cars. I would like to say a BIG THANKS to Craig, from Lynchburg, for donating a case of cars, Tim, from Roanoke,LOL for donating a large container of cars. Thanks to Billy,Tim, and Mary for being out there in the cold with me to pass out the little cars. It's always great to see the smiles on the childrens faces. Maybe next event will be warmer and more members can help.
