Amber most cans tell you to be around 10-12 inches from the work. If you do this you will never get a good fade. You get the little splatters instead of a fade. You have to cut this about in half and move faster accross the car. It also helps to have a color in between the fade. Like if you are going from yellow to red, have some orange on hand to help break up the two colors. Also spray more of the lighter color(further than the actual fade) and then come in with the darker color. Oh another thing, PRACTICE on something besides the actual piece you are working on! Like card board, paper, anything! |

This may take some time to answer. I've seen some of yours an Jeffs useing a total tube frame, like on a dragster, what do you use? how do you attach them together? how do you make them look so realistic? where do you find the rearends etc? I am making a streched, funny car style 40 ford coupe and want to tilt it up so the frame shows and looks real. Any help and as many ideas would help. Thanks |
