It contains several issues that we need to dicuss, BEFORE our next meeting. I don't think it's fair if we ask him to wait two weeks for a reply. This is just to get an idea of dates that you might be able to attend an emergency meeting, and to give you some time to think about what was said in the email. Here is the e-mail: Greetings Gentlemen, We had said that we would talk again after your show was over...however...from things that were said at the show...like...”We’re forming the Virginia HW’s Association”...Fred’s comment about when your next show might be...”How about August 19th?”...tells everyone on our end and your end that you have no desire to be associated with the ECHWC. I’m getting this information second hand but I am getting this from a couple different sources...both ECHWC and Star City people. Is this true? Do you no long wish to be a chapter of...associated with...a part of...the ECHWC? Let me know Scooter Dyson So, please post a date within the next week that you can attend an emergency meeting about the issues in the e-mail. If you cannot attend a meeting, please send an e-mail to: starcityhotwheels@cox.net with your thoughts, concerns, questions, etc., so that they may be included in a final draft of a response. But it seems to me like you guys do a good enough job yourselves of running it. You can combine all the people they've in their last 4 shows and not come close to the amount of people you guys had at this last show. just my thoughts.

Newbie Posts: 4 Group: Members Member #8 Joined: May 22, 2006	Though I will not speak for the ECHWC or anyone other than myself concerning Fred's recent comments in his September 12th post, I have to reply with the following. The situation that transpired between some members of the ECHWC and some members of Star City was and appears that it continues to be a sore spot as far as Fred is concerned. I will agree that the leading members of the ECHWC have at times disagreed with each other, (unfortunately publicly) said words to each other, and failed to stick together as we should have. Under no circumstances has any of us accused each other of STEALING. We the members of Star City and ECHWC have one major thing in common. We "ALL" collect little "TOY" cars. As a collector of little toy cars, it just irks me to no end how some can kill friendships and the camaraderie of collectors getting together and sharing their finds. Whether you are a member of Star City, ECHWC, HWC, SNEHW, or any other organization connected with these little pieces of metal and plastic we should all remember that we are suppose to be enjoying ourselves.
