Advanced Member Posts: 81 Group: Co-Admins Member #2 Joined: April 29, 2006	We have decided to modify the racing rules and procedure from the last show. We hope they will be improvements. If you have any comments, questions, or concerns, please feel free to voice them. All changes are noted with blue text. Banned Castings Funny Cars are banned from ALL types of racing. In addition, the Ferarri Testarosa is banned for a period of three races. Procedure All entries must be registered prior to race start. At the time of entry, you will receive one ticket per entry in order to help identify which class you have entered in. All cars must be shown at the registration table prior to entry. When races begin all racers will line up next to the track. You MUST present your ticket to the race official prior to being allowed to place the car on the track. The top two cars in each heat will be impounded at the finish line and will progress to the next round of racing. The first heat will continue until all tickets for that class are collected. There will be no backup cars allowed to run. EACH car run will be charged an entry fee of $2 and must have its own ticket. Rules Mainline Class ANY Hot Wheels Mainline casting (no Ultra Hots, Classics, Acceleracers, etc.) from 1980 until present may be used. Package MUST be opened at the starting line ONLY. Open Class ANY Hot Wheels Mainline casting from ANY year may be used. No modifications to casting or wheels maybe used. Winners will be checked by judges for oil, graphite, baby powder, and weight modification. If any modifications are detected you will be disqualified. Children's Class Any child under 12 years of age may enter. ANY Hot Wheels Mainline (no Ultra Hots, Classics, Acceleracers, etc.) casting from 1980 until present may be used. Package MUST be opened at the starting line ONLY.
