Amber most cans tell you to be around 10-12 inches from the work. If you do this you will never get a good fade. You get the little splatters instead of a fade. You have to cut this about in half and move faster accross the car. It also helps to have a color in between the fade. Like if you are going from yellow to red, have some orange on hand to help break up the two colors. Also spray more of the lighter color(further than the actual fade) and then come in with the darker color. Oh another thing, PRACTICE on something besides the actual piece you are working on! Like card board, paper, anything! |
