Meah, he placed a time and originality limit on the character roster. And he's not willing to expand the series without a new entry-which is fail. He obviously didn't hear how well Street Fighter II's expansion games helped sales...it boosted the games' sales from abuot 3 1/2 million to almost double that with 3 expansion packs. Sakurai could clearly use downloadable content (and yes, the Wii is capable of doing it; they are doing it with Guitar Hero, after all!) to expand it. That's all it takes. I mean C'MON! Who wouldn't wanna cough up $30 for 7 characters=???

New Smash Bros. series director please! :miyamoto: No more Skrai's and his excuses not to put Ridley in... >_<

Seriously, when there were limits placed, :miyamoto: DESTROYED THEM! Virtually every game :miyamoto: was running the show with (and supervising) became either a legend, pushed or redefined the limits of at least one genre, or redefined video games in and of themselves. :miyamoto: for Super Smash Bros. [Final] Clash/Irish Drunken Bar Fight...with LOTSA BEER!!!

^ Yes, but placing limits doesn't belong in such a competitive industry like video gaming. Go big or go home...

It was a pretty big game. It must have been hard filling in Masahiro's shoes.

^ Yes Brawl is. However, Sakurai shouldn't limit himself. He has abilities that even Rare (1992-1999), Hideo Kojima, and Shigeru Miyamoto don't have. It's sad for him to limit himself when he has SOOOOOOOOO much potential. He should go beyond 100% (like Kojima) and leave nothing unfinished (like Miyamoto), revolutionize everything in the little ways the add up to big things (like Rare used to)m and leave us stunned about everything in the final product (like all three of them).

Still...I'm more angry at Nintendo. Honestly I would have preferred having two discs. One for all the single-player stuff (garbage?), extras, and memory storage, and the other for the multiplayer and online. That way the online would actually would have been good.... >_>

Next gen Nintendo probably will have Blu-Ray. Although I don't blame Nintendo for not upgrading to Blu-Ray, seeing as how it's KILLING Sony and Microsoft. Nintendo should have gotten DVD playback (which is a joke! XD) and more disc space. >_< So the next smash bros. game they being pushing the Blu-Ray disc capacity limit (like Metal Gear Solid 4)-and it should leave us all stunned by everything about the game. Make it everything the three smash games before it were and weren't-all in one.

Two discs? Will that help?

^ Yes=less loading time and more room to store memory. Although the load times are minimally annoying. The only people that are "annoyed" by it are Melee elitist scrubs.

^ The opening loading time with the whole "Wiimote safety guide" and the time it takes the opening/title screen to load is pretty long. Other then that the stages take about 3-6 seconds to load, as oppose to 2-3 or so seconds with Melee and 1-3 seconds or so with smash 64.

If lets say the online interface was on it's own disc, chances are it would have a much higher quality.... >_>
