^ if scary old 80 year old Japanese ladies count as hookers, and gay party clubs as strip clubs, then San Fransico has hookers and strip clubs!
 Pavement, crime, poverty, and yet, suttle, apparente, and niave richness. Such is the nature of the great evil that is San Fransisco.
I don't value San Fransisco, I value San José, NOW THAT'S A GOOD CITY, and it's bigger then Oakland and San Fransisco. 10th biggest city in the United States. My type of city.

^ NYC or San José (yae to lowest crime rate of any city in North America!)=win. Both are great cities, although from what I've heard from New Yorkers in NYC, everyone is in a rush, but meah...we're always in a rush anyways here in Cali! XD |

The problem is, that's when you were 10 to 11. You don't remember or notice much at that age. When I was 6 to 8, I lived literally a couple of miles above above the Mexican-Californian/American border. I thought it was the smae as in NorCal, but looking back, it wasn't. Illegal immigrants staying in poor quarters. Heavy amounts of poverty, and sections of cities having basically Latino ghettos. Having to wear school uniforms because of high levels of poverty and Catholic influences. Illegal immigrants migrating to the area was off the charts. Border enforcers or whatever they called had it bad. Deaths via illegal immigrants for them was at it's highest since the 19th century and the Mexican-American war. Crime raters were pretty high in some areas of the city. The city I lived in was basically divided into rich people (generally white and lation), poor latino and african americans (aka the place you don't wanna be aka The Ghetto), and the middle class boiling pot. I was fortunate enough to live on the good side of town, in a fairly big house, a pool (it got over 120 degrees F quite often, lulz!), and no need to worry about money or being poor/on the streets. I didn't even notice at the time I was generally part of the racial minority as a white kid for the first time. I was, I guess in my own little innocent childhood world. Thinking about playing basketball at lunch, and after school, lulz! Looking back at pictures and stuff of my 2nd grade class, I was one of like a dozen white kids in a class of around 35. There were honestly almost as many black and asian kids, for example. I didn't even remember the 5 lock downs we had throughout the school year, due to violence. People are surprised I don't remember this stuff from my childhood. Seriously, at that age, you don't know what's going on in the world around you. All this I just posted is an example of that. So basically, your point means nothing. Sorries! XD Also, you don't usually see a city for what it is as a young kid, living in the rich side of town. Plus, San Fransisco has literally TENS OF THOUSANDS of extrememly poor and homeless Americans. It's awful. And yet, some EXTREMELY rich, generally white people live there. Like, the richest people in the nation, even. The poorest and the richest city in the world San Fransisco is. Such a sad, sad, poor city, full of stupid rich people who are so selfish, and don't care about the world around you. (not aimed at foxizmygame, though! :snake:) A huge rich Macys, with hobos on the street corners, and tons of people walking in, ignoring starving people, who might be on drugs. That's what I see when I picture San Francisco. That's basically explains San Francisco as a whole. It's such a sad, desolite, godless, and lifeless city. At times, it doesn't even feel you're in the same country. San Francisco is the closest place outside of the Middle East, non-democratic nations, and France to h-e--double hockey sticks. Seriously. If you want a PERFECT example of how messed up San Francisco is, look at their mayor! |
