We at Serene Adventure, Wire Overload and Serene Overload take your right to privacy seriously. Likewise, we take our own right to secure our sites as we see fit to an even higher regard. Do note that like many of the popular high-traffic sites out there (Facebook, YouTube and Twitter to name a few) we do hold our members responsible for familiarizing themselves with the rules and guidelines. Like most other sites the Administrator(s) WILL E-Mail its members to notify them of any changes in the TOS. Failure to familiarize yourself with our Terms of Service (or ToS for short) is something we do not tolerate and we do not read post-disciplinary messages that hint you didn't read it yourself. The Rules of the Serene Adventure forums can be found here or by clicknig Terms of Use while browsing the forums. Updated 2/13/2013: All references to Wire Overload and Serene Overload have been removed from the Board Rules. Additionally, several guidelines have been updated to the present day. Guidelines and Expectation for the Serene Adventure Community *First and foremost, access to the Serene Adventure forums is a PRIVILAGE, NOT A RIGHT. I reserve the right to revoke that privilage at any time for any or no reason with OR without explaination.* Agreeing to these guidelines make things easy for everyone. The following are basic guidelines that span the entire forum including specialty boards: 1. Trolling will not be tolerated ever. Now, let's break this down so that there is a crystal clear understanding among all parties what definition of Trolling I'm referring to. Trolling is making ANY post/topic made for the purposes of annoying others or inciting people to disrupt the quality of the topic posted in. If you do it your post/topic will be deleted on sight. Repeat offenders will get a week-long posting ban. 2. Please keep links to personal websites (Including Facebook/Twitter pages) to your profile or signature. Unsolicited spam of any kind will not be tolerated. Posts will be deleted on sight and any accounts less than 72 hours old AND/OR have less than 15 posts will deleted if caught doing this. The offending IP will be banned and if necessary the webmaster will contact your Internet Provider and/or place of business. We want to make it clear that if you get permission from a staff member to share a specific site that's fine (providing it isn't adult-oriented, illegal, hateful, etc.). It is also ok to post links if it has to do with a particular topic (for example, linking to Gamefaqs if you're talking about video games or NFL.com if you're talking about the Super Bowl, etc.). 3. Read the second line in my signature: DO NOT ask to be a Moderator, Assistant and so on. I choose who our staff members will be at my own discretion. You CAN ask what you need to do to be considered, however. 4. ENGLISH is the official language of Serene Adventure on Wordpress and its forums. If English is not your first language, we will not punish you for this. HOWEVER, it is YOUR responsibility to consult an English aid medium (another person, online dictionary, etc.). On that note, proper grammar is required EVERYWHERE except the Random Insanity board. "L33t Speak" and "Internet/IM Chat" is banned FOREVER on Serene Adventure. If I can't understand what you're saying, chances are good most people can't either. 5. Please keep ALL adult-oriented conversations in Serene Adventure's Mature chat board. These forums are accessed by young children. Anywhere else and it will be deleted no questions asked. Also remember links to adult materials (including images, videos and so on) are not allowed--even on the Mature Board. 6. Please be aware that there is no "swear filter" to speak of in place at this time. HOWEVER, this may change if we deem it necessary. Any profanity used should be kept to a minimum as this forum is open to people of all ages and backgrounds. 7. Plagiarism or Heresay ("I heard from a friend...", "This site says...") of ANY kind is NOT allowed. Plagiarism is of course taking something that isn't yours and passing it off as your own. It's not only a bad idea but it can get you in legal trouble, too. If asked, we WILL turn over your information to the appropriate parties and the post(s) in question will be removed. Heresay is basically anything secondhand and usually tends to be inaccurate. I would highly recommend fact checking before posting something you're not sure about. 8. Any questions regarding Video Game Cheats and Hacks should be kept in the aforementioned boards. If found anywhere else they will be moved. 9. Please keep all video or music rip requests in the appropriate forums. They will be moved if found anywhere else. 10. No Hentai/Henta or Porn of ANY KIND is allowed, even on the Mature Boards. Because a large percentage of our site is viewed by children, such material is banned ANYWHERE on the Serene Adventure forums. If found it will be deleted on the spot and the poster will be disciplined harshly. Other Site Bans and You We are not a 'safe haven' if you are banned from the following websites: Serenes Forest Serebii.net Fantasy Anime Gamefaqs Court Reecords MMO-Champion World of Warcraft's Official Forums Fogu.com If you come here making a topic complaining about being banned from one of the above websites, your topic will be deleted immediately and you will lose posting for awhile. If you post an objectionable video it WILL be removed. If your video is removed from You Tube for Copyright Infringement, I will host it for you ONLY if the video is for reference/fan video purposes and NOT for the purposes of filesharing. I WILL NOT host it if it is removed from You Tube for any other reason. It is reccommended you upload files to a File Hosting Site and link it over. Contrary to popular belief, our site's staff are human. We have lives outside the internet and are not paid to moderate the forums. While we do our best to keep the site relatively problem-free, we may miss something or something may take longer to fix than desired.

As of right now there is only one active Staff Member: Brendan2k5. He has to eat, sleep, etc. like everyone else and in addition has commitments outside the site that he has to honor and keep.

Serene Adventure's Forums have an attachment limit of 4882.81MB. That's roughly 4.8GB. If you upload files, please WAIT until the file uploads before submitting your post. The size of the file decides the wait.
