Monday the 14th:

Sheldon is sitting at a computer in the home office of his mentor, Rembrandt "Remy" Arturo when a Camera crew steps in to room. Sheldon looks up at the camera and scowls. He makes a few more keystrokes and hit enter then turns to the camera.

"You can never give a guy a minutes, jeebus." Sheldon says obviously irritated by the interruption. "I was just updating my blog for the fans." Sheldon motions to where the crew should set up. Once set up we see a large thirty two in tough screen monitor. Small windows cover the computer desktop with a dozen or more looping videos of Chezina and Chivo Rodriguez performing moves that they deploy on a regular basis. Over top of those looping videos are simple three dimensional models of the Rodriguez brother performing the same moves.

"As you can see, I'm busy preparing for my tag match with Night where we compete against the gargantuan Rodriguez Brothers. These models are generated using a logistics algorithm developed by Professor Arturo and myself back when I as studying for my doctorate. As you can see I have input hours of tape for nearly every member of the sVo roster. Well, those that meet the requisite number of matches. So some of the noobs aren't in here yet. The video is processed through the algorithm and these three dimensional versions are created and analyzed for weaknesses in the execution of the moves and then determines optimal timing and proper execution of any known escapes or reversals. Now..." Sheldon stops, turning off his monitor, "That's enough of my trade secrets for one day." Sheldon waves as the scene fades to black.

----

Sheldon Hossteder is walking down the street heading towards a plaza. Suddenly, Sheldon starts to jog waving his arms franticly. The camera pans around just in time to see Sara Pettis walk into a garment shop. Sheldon runs across the street and into the store just in time to see Intrepid attack. With out thought of who Intrpid was attacking Sheldon rushs forward and drops an elbow on intrepid forcing the hold he is applying to loosen slightly. Sara is able to escape from the lock, and she takes a second to compose herself. She starts to stand up, her legs wobbling as she does, and turns around to see why Intrepid's grip loosened. Sara sees Sheldon has Intrepid in a guillotine choke.

After a couple seconds of letting Sheldon choke Intrepid, Sara start pulling him off, "Sheldon let him go," She says trying to separate them, but Sheldon isn't paying attention. He keeps it locked, "Sheldon!" she finally yells, getting his attention.

Sheldon loosens hold as Sara pulls him off of Intrepid, who rolls over onto his knees, coughing as he's able to take in air. Sheldon grabs Intrepid dragging off the ground, and leads him to the front door of the seamstress' shop, and throws him out.

Sheldon turns around, and sees Sara standing there with her arms crossed. He shoots her a glance like he's confused and Sara just shakes her head. She walks over to the counter where the seamstress has her new wrestling gear ready, and pays. She tells me never to come back to her store. As Sara walk out of the shop, she passes Sheldon, again giving him a glance. As she exits she looks around to see if Intrepid is still waiting. He doesn't appear to be. Sheldon leaves the shop behind Sara as she walks away.

"Sara. Wait. Hold up." Sheldon says walking behind her, but she ignores him, "Sara, I'm sorry if I did something wrong...but I don't understand why you're mad at me if you are."

Sara stops, and lets out a sigh. She looks at Sheldon, knowing that he is inexperienced with women, so as gently as she can, she tells him what's wrong, "Sheldon, I didn't want your help in there. I've said before that I don't want anyone to 'save' me when it comes
to the Tap-Out Title. It makes me look weak, and makes it seem like I shouldn't be champion." Sara looks towards the ref following her, Adam Kratz, and asks, "Don't you think it demeans the championship if someone saves the Champion from losing it?" Adam just puts his hands up like he's not there to comment. Sara sighs, looking back to Sheldon, "Where did you come from anyway? Were you following me?"

Sheldon stars nervously adjusting his collar and his glasses. He fumbles for the words, before finally saying, "Yes...I was following you...but...but I have a reason, it's not like I was stalking you." Sheldon says. Sara rolls her eyes, slightly disgusted. She then crosses her arms again, and looks at waiting for an explanation, "Its just...I knew Intrepid might pull something. I wasn't following you, as much as I was following him. And when I saw him go after you, I had to do something. He was only going for you because of me."

Sara walks over to Sheldon who is looking down at the ground, his face red, and puts a hand on his shoulder, "Listen, Shelly...I know you want to protect me, and that you think its your fault Intrepid went after me. But the truth is, with this title comes a responsibility. I'm responsible to maintaining possession it, and to have someone help me in an attack...it just doesn't look good. I know it puts me at risk. But that comes with being Tap-Out Champion. I knew it when I won it. And if someone wants to use it to try to take advantage of a situation, well then...I have to accept that. So please Shelly, don't do anything like that again."

"Okay Sara, just please don't hate me. You're the first woman to care about me, I just don't want to see anything happen to you." Sheldon says looking up.

"Its alright...if something happens, it's going to happen. I don't know if you believe in fate, but if my fate is for my career to end defending this belt, then it's going to happen if you step in or not. So I'd rather you didn't and we just let everything run its course." Sheldon nods, showing he understands. "Alright, I'm going to go back to my apartment at Goodfellas. I have some things I need to get done, but how about after Showdown, we do something then. I just want to focus on getting what I need to get done so that I can focus on DJ this weekend, then the big match at Vendetta. Alright?"

Sheldon agrees, and Sara gives him a hug to let him know she's not so upset anymore before they part ways. Sheldon stands, watching her go for a moment before turning on his heels and heading back the way he came. The scene fades out.

Thursday the 17th:

When the scene returns, Remy is sitting at a bar sipping on cognac while Sheldon is slowly getting beat at a game of pool. Sheldon
takes a shot nearly gouging the table as the tip of his cue slips across the felt. The cue ball goes careening around the table wildly, finally coming to rest in a position to let his opponent sing the winning shot with ease. The young man Sheldon is playing laughs as he sinks the shot. "That's nearly a grand you owe me." He sips a beer and smiles at Sheldon, "Wanna go again?"

Sheldon gets a look of concern on his face, "Well, I don't know..." he stammers running his hand through his hair.

"Tell ya what," Sheldon's opponent says with a smile. "We'll go double or nothing. You win, I owe you two gees, if I win again, we call it even and you can go on your way."

Remy smiles at the bar as he listens to the conversation going on behind him. Sheldon looks up at his opponent and asks, "What was your name again?"

"Emanuel, but you can call me Manny." He says in response.

"Okay, Manny, you got a deal." Sheldon says starting to smile himself. "Same as before, right? I'll break?"

"Sure," Manny says while Racking the balls.

Sheldon takes careful aim then makes a surprisingly accurate shot pocketing a double of balls on the break for the first time that night. Sheldon grins, "Well, about time I had some good luck tonight."

Remy snorts as Sheldon lines up his next shot. Manny looks on with growing concern and suspicion as Sheldon proceeds to run the table, "I got hustled, didn't I?" Manny asks as he counts out Sheldon's two thousand dollars.

Sheldon smiles, trying not to laugh, "Yeah, I'm sorry, but everyone always assumes that since I'm a geek, I don't know how to play pool, but, this game is pure physics. I've been hustling people since I was old enough to walk into a bar."

Manny shakes his head, "Well, at least I got hustled by a celebrity I am a fan of."

Sheldon looks up at that. "You're a fan? Wow, thanks. Why didn't you say something before we played, I wouldn't have hustled you."

"Are you kidding, after the beating that old man gave you I would have thought me recognizing you would have been too embarrassing." Manny looks up to see Remy slapping the bar in amusement. "But I suppose that you were hustling me he was here to make you look like an easy mark."

Sheldon smiles, "Indeed."

Manny steps up beside Remy and pats him on the shoulder. "So are you Sheldon's dad?"

Remy shakes his head, "No, I'm just his old professor and current manager."

"Manager, huh, I never see you go to the ring with him, why's that?"

"Well, mostly because he doesn't need me at ringside at the moment. That might change in the future, but for now I'd rather just be on the sidelines to handle his business affairs and training regiment." Remy explains. "Although, between the Company's near constant interference and this Intrepid, I may have to start going to ringside soon to help him focus on what's important."

The scene fades out as the discussion rages on.

Friday the 18th:

Sheldon Hossteder is laying face down on a massage table getting worked on by one of the sVo trainers at the arena gym. Sheldon had just finished a light work out in preparation for the match against the Rodriguez Brothers. Remy Arturo is sitting off to the side staring intently at the tablet PC he's holding.

"So, Shel," Remy says looking up from the tablet, "You still going to shake that clown's hand since you weren't in any condition to last week?"

"Yeah, actually, I am. I know Loki's a crazy sum-bitch, but I doubt he wanted to get creamed with a steel chair. I know I didn't. The Company took the opportunity to attack two of their opponents in the Organized Chaos match. Truthfully, we should have seen that coming. But Rosario and DJ will be dealt with in due course. Oh, don't call Loki a clown, he hates that. I don't need to antagonizing a teammate of mine with just over a week away from the pay per view." Sheldon and Remy continue to converse as the scene fades to black.
