One Shot was a night of questions and answers, though regrettably, the night had raised more questions, than it had provided answers. One big question was answered; Who would be the next person in line to challenge for the SVO Championship? The answer turned out to be Samuel Amos.

And for each major question, there was a series of minor questions that followed, questions like; Why did did I decide to break away from my original game plan? Did I, in a moment of weakness, allow my own ego to get the better of me? This wasn't the first time I had done something, without actually knowing why I had done it. It had been a recurring event over the past several months, doing something that, at the time, felt like an easy, obvious choice, but which later proved to be more complicated than that. Or maybe it wasn't complicated at all, maybe the plain and simple truth of the matter, was that I had made a mistake. And maybe it hadn't just been going on for the past months, maybe it had been going on his entire life, but I only recently, due to the...changes...that had taken place in my life, had gained the insight to be able to look back and recognize my mistakes? But if that were true, it would mean that everything I have done without knowing why, every act, every thought, all of it...would be weakness. It would be my own weakness on display, my own lack of ability to keep myself from making mistakes, even when the screams inside my head are telling me that I am making a wrong choice. At this point, I had no answer to the question of why. I knew I had to have my reasons, and I knew that they were locked away somewhere inside my mind, but I was unable to find them. And what that means, is that maybe I did Amos a favor, and maybe I screwed myself royally. The fact was that I did something without knowing why, maybe it was a mistake, maybe it was the right thing for me to do...but worst of all, it means that, depending on what the answer to that question is, my own clouded mind may be my strongest ally...or my own worst enemy.

And then there was the question of the appearances of, Jon Page. A man who has also gone through his share of changes recently, but seemingly changes for the better. Jon Page back in charge could prove to be a great thing for me, as Page, unlike most everyone else in SVO, actually seems to see the potential in me. Page also seems to hold the SVO in high regard, and he also seems to be content with having me as one of his top stars. But just as people change, situations change as well. It's doubtless that Jon Page has his own agenda, and while Page does genuinely seem to care about the SVO, his real focus seems to be on Matt Anderson, almost like Page is obsessed with making Matt Anderson's life a living hell. Which, if true, would mean that Jon Page, most likely, sees me as a weapon he has at his disposal, in his war against The Company. I would certainly top the list of people who would be the most motivated to go after The Company. But even if all of this is true, if Page truly does view me as a weapon, it is not really a problem for me. Right now, what is good for Page, is good for me. And as long as things remain that way, there will be no problems. But the thing about being a weapon, a pawn, is that eventually, a situation may arise, where Page has to sacrifice a pawn in order to win the game....

And to top it all off, with all of these things on my mind, all of these thoughts running non stop through my head, I also have a match against Beautiful Shame to prepare for.

The scene opens up as we are; once again, inside the small, dingy apartment that Rey Rosario now calls his home. The sun is up, as evidenced by the sunlight that is coming through the windows. The daylight, however, does not improve the overall impression of the apartment, as the sight of the bare, gray walls in the light of day, only seems to make the apartment look even more empty and sad. We find Rey Rosario once again sitting in one of the chairs in the middle of the apartment, almost in a trance like state.

??:" It's all going to hell...."

Rey quickly turns his head, convinced that he heard a voice whisper something to him. There is nobody there but him though, but just as he turns his head back, a knock on the door is heard. Rey turns his head again and look towards the door, with a somewhat puzzled and suspicious look on his face, but he does not get up. Instead, he just hesitantly stares towards the door in silence, almost as if he is willing the person on the other side to go away. After a few moments of silence, Rey shakes his head, convinced that he must have imagined both the whispers and the knock on the door. But just then, there is another knock on the door. Rey gets up from the chair and slowly walks towards the door, before cautiously opening the door slightly and peeking outside. He holds his breath as he looks outside, only to breathe a slight sigh of relief as he sees the person on the other side of the door; a young, blue eyed, blonde girl, who greeted him with a smile. He had seen her around once or twice before, and he knew she lived in the apartment next door, though he did not know her name.

Rey:" What?"

He asked, sounding slightly defensive, as his eyes began wandering. She was wearing a pair of faded jeans and a tight, white t-shirt. He couldn't help but notice how perfectly her clothes showed off her body. His eyes eventually made their way back up to hers.

Girl:" So what do you say?"

She asked, as Rey seemed to snap out of whatever daze he was just in.

Rey:" About what?"

He asked, clearly confused.

Girl:" The party..."

She said, giving Rey a somewhat weird look.

Girl:" Didn't you hear a word I just said?"

Rey rubbed his eyes, still visibly confused about what just happened, that made him completely miss whatever it was this girl just said to him.

Girl:" Are you okay?"

Rey:" I'm fine...why?"

Girl:" Well it's just...you look a little pale and...I think maybe you're sick."

Rey:" I'm fine."

He sneered.

Girl:" Oh, okay then. Well if you feel like coming by for my party on Saturday, you're invited."

She said, with a curtious smile, before turning around and walking away. Rey closed the door, but the girl's words still echoed in his mind. With everything that had gone down in the past months, he had found it difficult to look at himself in the mirror, and as a result, he had avoided mirrors as much as possible. Hell truth be told, he had not thought much about how he looked recently, but he could not help but wonder about the girl's words. He was pale? Did he look sick?...Rey made his way to the bathroom, and positioned himself in front of the old, dirty mirror, that was hanging on the wall. At first sight, he thought his eyes were playing tricks on him, but after looking away and then back in the mirror a few times, it started to sink in, that what he was seeing was bit trick of the eyes, it was the truth. He was indeed pale, his hair was a complete mess, he had stubbles, as he only rarely shaved, but the thing that caught him the most by surprise, was the fact that dark circles had begun appearing under his eyes.

Rey:" What the...."

He said, as he turned his head first to the left, and then to the right, looking at his face from all angles, and still not quite comprehending what he was seeing. He could barely recognize himself. A little thrown by this recent revelation, he eventually shook it off and returned to his chair. He sat down and closed his eyes...

Rey:" It's all going to hell..."

He mumbled to himself, before seemingly falling asleep...

---------------

You can't trust him...

You can't trust anybody...

You’re all alone....

There is nothing left...

You are nothing...

It’s all going to hell....

Rey:" What??"

He asked, looking around the room. It was dark, completely dark as a matter of fact, so dark that you could not even see your own hand if you held it up in front of your face.

Rey:" Who's there?"

Silence...

Rey:" Hello??"

??:" It's all going to hell..."

Rey:" I don't know what that means!"

??:" But you do....and in time you will realize it."

Rey:" Who are you?"

??:" You know this as well. When you are ready, your mind will allow you access to this information."

Rey:" Why the hell are you here then? Why are you telling me all of this, if I already know it?"

Silence...

Rey:" Why don't we turn on the light, huh? Then you can show your face."

??:" Are you sure you want to do that?"

Rey:" Damn right I'm sure!"

He said, as he readied himself to get up from the chair, when the light suddenly came on in the apartment.

Rey:"Show yourself!"

He said, looking around the empty apartment.

??:" Turn around.."

The voice whispered. He slowly turned around, finding a message written on the slab gray wall, a message written in what appeared to be blood;

It's all going to hell....

The message read, as blood still ran down the wall from the letters. Suddenly the lights go out again and a thunder like noise is heard...

---------------

He had awoken from his dream, or nightmare, in a cold sweat earlier in the evening. Not a whole lot about the dream was clear to him, most of it was blurry, fuzzy, but little by little, bits and pieces were coming back to him. He had no idea what any of it meant though, but it was hardly the first time he had heard the phrase "It's all going to hell" recently, it seemed to be everywhere. In fact, this was the third time he had heard it, in just the past twenty four hours. He needed some fresh air, and so he had decided to leave his apartment for a while, and venture outside, into the world. He decided to head down to nearby grocery store, he still needed to eat and drink, and it was not like he had anyone to do his grocery shopping anymore. Still dressed in black jeans, a white sleeveless shirt and a black, unbuttoned shirt, he threw on his black leather jacket and headed outside. The grocery store was located no more than a ten minute walk from his apartment, and the fresh, cool night air was a welcome change from stuffiness of his apartment. As he neared the grocery store, he noticed two men standing outside the grocery store, near the entrance, talking to each other. He paid them no attention, as he walked right past them, but he could not help but overhear part of their conversation, as he passed them.

Man1:" You're kidding me, right?"

Man2:" I'm telling you the truth."

Man1:" That's sick...what the hell is this world coming to?"

Man2:" I'm telling you man, it's all going to hell."

Just as Rey was about to enter the grocery store, those last words caught his eyes, and he completely froze, right there in the middle of the door. He squinted his eyes, as those words kept echoing inside his head..."It's all going to hell"....He slowly turned around and looked towards the two men, who were still talking, but quickly noticed Rey staring at them.

Man1:" Can we help you?"

He asked, clearly annoyed at Rey's staring.

Rey:" Shut up."

He said, as he walked over to the other man, and looked him right in the eyes.

Rey:" What did you just say?"

Man2:" What do you mean?"

He asked, sounding a bit confused.

Rey:" What...did...you...just...say?"

Man2:" Look man, we were just talking, and not about you, if that's what you are getting at."

He said, somewhat nervously.

Rey:" You said; It's all going to hell."

Man2:" Well yeah..."

Rey:" Why would you say that?"

Man1:" Look what is your problem pal?"

Rey:" Shut up!"

He said, without even looking at the guy, as his eyes remained locked on the other guy.

Rey:" Why would you say that? Why did you say those exact words??"

Man2:" Look buddy, I have no idea what you are talking about."

Rey:" So what? I'm supposed to believe it was just a coincidence?

Man2:" WHAT was just a coincidence??"

Man1:" Lets just get out of here man, this guy is on drugs or something."

Could it just have been a coincidence? Was he just imagining things? Or was there something more to this? He was unsure, and decided to just let the two guys walk off. He watched them as they walked away, both of them glancing back over their shoulders several times. As they eventually disappeared off into the distance, he turned around and entered the grocery store, repeating the same line over and over again in his head...

It's all going to hell...

It's all going to hell...

It's all going to hell.....
