Two years ago, there was a man who was a joke. It was his job to be funny. To make others laugh. He wasn’t a curtain jerker at heart, for he knew things were bound to sky high. So he played role. He made fun of himself. He walked around like some secret agent reject. He played with odd gadgets like a thermos that was also a bomb diffuser. He had a watch that had a laser capable of temporarily blinding his foes.

He even seduced his boss with songs like “Love is a Battlefield” and “Milkshake Song”. The latter of which wound up costing him at least a couple nights of early-relationship passionate love making.

So his past was a comedy turned tragedy. The early days of Hostility saw the man who always had a smile three miles wide fall to pieces. His fiancé betrayed his love, all in the name of power. While his career began with a successful title reign, his personal life was shattered. Alcoholism, depression, even a suicide attempt. And while eventually things would turn around, most of his emotional triumph came in the form of a bond between two-almost-brothers. His best friend, his greatest ally, Alex Rockridge, P.K.A. Talon.

What began as a friendship blossomed into a brotherhood. A tale of two brothers who walked the aisle as a team, carrying the very promotion on their shoulders. But what began as a friendly rivalry bloomed into professional jealousy. The man who he once considered his brother in arms soon became his number one enemy.

With the birth of this new rivalry saw the arrival of “The Industry”. A collection of talent that demanded respect and sulked in success and power. Not only did this group hold the Tag-Team titles, but individually most members saw success in not only Hostility’s “Beautiful” title--but also in holding the coveted World Heavyweight Championship. The leader of this group was always Chris Bond. And with a group full of egos, one man had to tread lightly. While the group itself was never hostile towards each other, they were a company of individuals who craved the spotlight and success. Not one person would stand in their way--even if that meant getting rid of a founding Father. Mike Polowy was the first to go. Quickly replaced by ‘the Phoenix’ Xander Daniels.

The faction saw success and would have stayed relevant forever, however, Hostility soon closed down and the members spread out. The character in question, Chris Bond decided to revert to his roots. A small, independent promotion based out of Simcoe County, Canada.

But eventually, the yearn for greener pastures brought forth the unquenchable DREAM. The man who vowed to never step foot inside a DREAM Wrestling ring soon found himself there in the name of Hostility. A championship belt that belonged to him was stripped from name. It was awarded, unfairly, to a man who wasn’t Hostile in the least bit sense of the word. He was a DREAMer, distorted to boot… and this was what bothered Bond the most. But unable to garner the momentum to be awarded a championship that rightfully belonged to him--he sought other gold. A title that was worthy of a former secret agent. The COOL Championship brought forth a rivalry that never really took off, and DREAM soon found itself in a comatose state.

And where are we now?

Chris Bond, named a defendant in a law suit filed by Robert Thompson--aka ‘Beautiful’ Bobby Dean for false advertisement, gimmick infringement, and an overall douchebaggery like reason.

Sure, Chris Bond was mocking his former stable mate. And sure, he revealed secrets that would embarrass and possibly ruin the franchise name of ‘Beautiful’ Bobby Dean. But he didn’t care.

Payback was a bitch. And was rightfully deserved. When you sign with the Industry--you’re Industry for life. You don’t go off to a rival promotion and join their gang of vagabonds, ruffians, and for the most part drug users and abusers. It just isn’t done.

And this is why we find ourselves in a match against Nathan Paradine.

Not for honor.

Not for gold.

But for loyalty and respect.

Nathan Paradine has entered a fight that doesn’t belong to him. It isn’t about him.

The Australian Submission Machine is about as key to this cause as the mandatory use of seatbelts is to determining whether or not you should be President. It’s relevant.

And the fact that Nathan Paradine chose this position is even more disturbing. He wasn’t asked by BBD to defend his honor. He wasn’t bought, bribed, or blackmailed to do so.

He chose to do this. And for what?

Did he take offense to Chris Bond mocking BBD by comparing him to a blow-up doll? Did he take it as a lack of respect that he wrestled a doll as opposed a midget?

Maybe Nathan Paradine has fears of his own--that he too finds himself irrelevant in terms of the modern day sVo? How he was once considered a power-player in this federation and yet at the present time--can hardly stay sober to show up for weekly broadcasts?

As it was noted this isn’t about personal gain. It is about loyalty and respect. Or the lack therefore of in regards to one ‘Beautiful’ Bobby Dean.

So this isn’t going to be a personal vendetta from Nathan Paradine.

This isn’t going to be some self-righteous crusade from the Chris Bond camp.

This fight is about is about embarrassment and righting a wrong damn near five-six months in the making.

Chris Bond vows to punish Nathan Paradine for the sins of ‘Beautiful’ Bobby Dean.

This appears to be a fight--but what seems like a fight will be all out war.

A war amongst allies, a war amongst comrades, and a war between two enemies.

The only prevalent theme in all of these battles?

“Hell is Other People.”

OOC Note: Sorry it's not that great Joofy. You really kicked my ass this week and I'm stoked you've found yourself again. Thanks for the match and I can't wait for this thing to play out ;)
