Applause the day of reckoning… what comes to happen when the day is due to end? not just the day, but the end of the world? will a panic arise? will love quote it-self and be a poem? will a plague of chaos spread and hunger for the last survivors to thrive for their life? who knows, because they’ll never be an end of the world… at least not in one man’s eyes. Certain people are outstanding in many eyes, quoted to have an intriguing behaviour, an amazing ability, an enlightenment to others, a prestige impact to today’s society. These people, with more hunger then anyone to gain what they already have, control of the future, not the part they own, and knowing they'll be a ruin upon many, but a post mortem to the one’s that disbelieve in him or her, and doubt there words of wisdom. Those words that intriguingly advise others to believe in there path of righteousness, and follow in there footsteps of them being the industries one and only, one and only to reign supreme.

ONE WEEK AGO

SHOWDOWN EPISODE #37

It's another day in the office, that office being a building filled with angry men and women just waiting to tear each others faces off, no, not an insane asylum, but very close, Sanctioned Violence Organization's weekly edition of Showdown. Chris Wrestling has shown his face, just like every edition, plans in mind, I'm sure, he pulls up his truck in the car park and makes his way inside, gets through security and heads on towards his locker room, but this week's plans are about to crumble before him.

Chris Wrestling turns the corner, going about as if it was just another day, strolling, relaxing, humming to himself if even, but just as he turns this one certain corner, looking to the distance he could already tell he made a wrong turn. He catches sight of police officers grouped, banging on his locker room door, he stops and starts thinking, curious, worried, not sure what to do, but instinct tells him to turn and walk the other way, and so, he does, he turns and goes to walk away without notice until...

'SIR!'

Chris Wrestling stops and looks to the floor, he bites his lip in a damned fashion, but turns around with an innocent new face, looking at the officer curiously.

'Are you the Sanctioned Violence Organization Superstar known as Canadian Perfect?'

Chris Wrestling thinks for a second, raising his eyebrows, nods, and with that watches the other officers from behind stroll forward and surround Chris Wrestling. Chris Wrestling becomes a little hesitant on moving, looking around at them all, wondering what the hell's going on.

'Could I ask your real name sir?'

Chris Wrestling: What concern is that of yours?

...

'Ok, Chris Wrestling, I am arresting you on suspicion of assault against a minor and for being in possession of an illegal firearm. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to have an attorney present during questioning. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed for you.'

Chris Wrestling's eyes widen to the fullest ability, no more curious, but angered and furious upon this accusation, Chris Wrestling resists and tries moving away from the officers, they immediately grab a hold on him with full force. Chris Wrestling tries to escape, even with his strength, but is forced against the wall against all the officers, he still tries resisting against the ridiculous accusations that have brought the officers here to charge him but as his hands are locked behind his back and locked in a pair of handcuffs all he can do is yell out.

Chris Wrestling: What the hell, you're making a big mistake!

'You can say what you have to say at the station'

Chris Wrestling: No, that's what I'm telling you I have nothing to say, I haven't attacked any children God-damn it!

Chris Wrestling's plea of innocence gets him nowhere as the officers ignore and try moving him, meanwhile, orders to search the locker room of Chris Wrestling takes place as officers kick down the door and enter, Chris Wrestling looks on amazed and in disbelief at what's going on. Moments later as Chris Wrestling stands handcuffed and held by two officers, also supervised by another, the other officers that entered to search the room come back out, only to raise more shock from Chris Wrestling. A silver pistol hangs from one of the officers fingers, Chris Wrestling looks to see they only expected it, Chris Wrestling is bewildered, thoughts running through his head of why and how, while he tries to sort the situation and take in everything that's happening.

Chris Wrestling: Listen I've never seen that gun in my life!

'Like I said, you can tell us your story down town'

That does nothing but infuriate Chris Wrestling as he bursts out struggling trying to escape the officers grasp, but it does nothing as the grasp even tighter and force Chris Wrestling down the corridor. The gun is bagged and tagged by the other officers as they follow behind, watching Chris Wrestling try to refuse arrest as he struggles and yells, being led out of the building, a nearby backstage worker mopping the floor takes witness to it all, and attempts to blink to make sure he witnessed everything he just saw.

'Damn'

It appears sometimes, we can tell life isn't always in our control, we can live everyday like each other, or make a change sometimes, but no matter what, unexpected tragedies can happen, as what was just witnessed. Chris Wrestling spending weeks in SVO revealing his secrecy, all brought to today, just another day of revealing himself and his plans, but this, far from ever seeing, being whipped away from business, plans, needed appearances, and cause to effect.

We're down town, now definitely held in what can be associated with an insane asylum, a building holding criminals, head diseased people, and people who construct this town of rules, and the law. Deep in the back, still in handcuffs, Chris Wrestling sits in an interview room, not looking the best, hot, sweaty, bothered, as if he'd just had a match, but no, being whisked away in handcuffs against his will for causes unknown, charges brought against him against his knowledge.

The room is as finely tuned as possible, a square room, table in the middle, Chris Wrestling seated one side with an empty seat in the other, a microphone in the middle of the table, camera in the corner and the big intimidating mirror we all know there on the other side of. The lights beam down on Chris Wrestling as he waits, but the door suddenly opens and in comes walking his lawyer, with a fast pace and an officer behind him, the officer unlocks Chris Wrestling's handcuffs and exits the room, bringing a sighing relief to Chris Wrestling's face as he rubs his wrists.

Chris Wrestling: What took you so long?

Bursting out of his seat turning to face his lawyer.

Chris Wrestling: What the hell is going on here?

The man stands, briefcase in one hand and a file in the other, stuttering to speak, he seems drawn back, afraid of Chris Wrestling, and hesitates to move, but makes his way to the table placing his possessions down.

'I've had a look into it, and these allegations made against you, the police have no evidence, all they can do is hold you for questioning and then you'll be released, but other then, is there anything you can tell me?'

Not the happiest, Chris Wrestling stares at his lawyer, feeling the urge to smack him one there and then, tensed up and annoyed the way his night has gone so far, he tries to keep calm.

Chris Wrestling: You're really going to ask me that? What's this, false belief without even talking to me? Am I automatically the bad guy, I've got pettiness wrote on my criminal record, you know me as a person and my life, and you question if I have some involvement in this?

Stepping back slightly aware of Chris Wrestling's upset emotional state, he opens the file.

'No, I never meant that one bit, all I'm saying is these are some serious charges you could be facing if you don't start telling me something you might know.'

Chris Wrestling, now hands to head feeling like he could pull his hair out, takes a seat and takes a deep breath.

Chris Wrestling: Like what?

Several pieces of paper are chucked in front of Chris Wrestling, also the police reports toward the case Chris Wrestling has been dragged into, Chris Wrestling takes a look.

'For starters, enemies, anyone who would have reason to mention your name in such a crime, maybe anything about the crime itself?'

Seconds pass as he takes a quick thought.

Chris Wrestling: Well... yeah I know of this, I read it in the papers, but, for me... where would I start, you know who I am, stuff I've done, people I've pissed off!

He sits back.

Chris Wrestling: Although...

He ponders for a second.

Chris Wrestling: You know, this could be work of someone in SVO, I mean, I've got into something serious coming up and I've been getting rather serious myself, I've started some things in SVO, maybe it's an attempt of a return attack, or maybe I'm just over shooting?

'Well it's definitely something we should look into, mention maybe, we'll......'

A creak interrupts the two as there attention directs towards the door, two officers enter the room, suited up and looking serious, one takes a seat and the other stands aside, Chris Wrestling takes a look at the standing one and doesn't look impressed at the skinny streak of piss.

'Well, well, well, so, you know what we're here for, why don't you start by telling me what we want to know!'

Chris Wrestling: Ha, because, it's that simple right? You come in, I'm the innocent one and collapse under the intimidation, confessing and owning up to a crime I never committed... or hadn't known anything about aside what the papers said... right, that's how this goes?

'I'm not pointing fingers, your name was brought up in an investigation in this case, so, what I want to know, how does a guy with money, who lives miles from here, get....'

Interrupting immediately.

Chris Wrestling: Yeah exactly, what I want to know is who the hell brought my name up, for someone to claim they seen me at a crime, your valiantly believing them and avoiding the case that this person could be covering themselves up?

'Well as a matter of fact, the person claiming to of seen you was cleared, so we had no reason to bring him in, we questioned him and taken the necessary information, so if we need to get in touch again, that's no problem.'

Chris Wrestling: So it's a him? So someone bold and alone right, and let me guess, wasn't in the area because they belong, just, visiting, right? And if I were to guess you follow that information up you'd be chasing a ghost?'

'Right now I don't think any of that's your concern, you need to be explaining why your name IS involved in this case?'

Chris Wrestling: CLEARLY BECAUSE SOMEONE'S POINTING THE BLAME OFF THEM!

Chris Wrestling's erupt raise of voice receives a hand on the shoulder from the other officer, Chris Wrestling stops and looks in disgust and annoyed at the officer's act.

Chris Wrestling: Get your hand off me now before I do something we'll both regret.

The officer looks at the investigator as he nods, the officer backs up, Chris Wrestling continues.

Chris Wrestling: You guys so vulnerably believe some complete stranger, make your way to a person who has proof and witnesses to almost every step I make so have dates and times for places I am and have been, and magically find the weapon in my locker room, the locker room I hadn't even entered as I only just arrived at the arena, now, you explain that to me?'

The officer stares at Chris Wrestling, taking in what he just said he sits thinking for a few seconds, he turns to the other officer.

'Go run a check on that guy at the apartment, try track him down and bring him in, and see if you can get me all the camera footage for the arena!'

He nods and heads on out the room.

'So your telling me you do not have any involvement in this, you can acclaim every day for date and time?'

Chris Wrestling: That's what I'm telling you, you speak to my lawyer for that information he'll have it all!

'And the weapon, you've never seen it before right? Because you see, we have no prints, the guns been fired, but, no prints, amazing that huh.'

Chris Wrestling: This world's full of amazing and crazy things, you can go check, I have a few guns, all registered in my name, and you go to my apartment, all accounted for, locked away except one which is a rifle, only used to warn away unwanted guests. So this pistol that's been used in this crime, not mine, never been seen by me before, no prints from me, only account you have to connect me to this is a rumor from a stranger, a gun that appeared in a locker room that I never even entered, so why am I here? Hell I don't even match the god-damn description! Why am I here?!

The officer looks down at his papers, scratching his stubble, Chris Wrestling already with his hands on the table ready to stand and leave.

'Then I guess we're done, we have your information... I'd like to say don't leave town but I'm to understand you have pre-planned engagements, you just make sure you stay in touch and don't go running away now. We'll be in touch also, you just make sure you ain't taking this light, your not off just yet, this case is still being investigated and if your name comes up again, I'll come down on your ass harder then you think!'

He stands looking at his lawyer.

'Go sign him out, I wanna talk to you after!'

He turns and leaves the room, Chris Wrestling brings himself to his feet, smiling, relieved if anything, he goes to rush off out.

'Hey, listen, you have to listen to what he said, don't take this lightly, if what's happening is really going on, you have to intrigue yourself with the fact someone has purposely brought your name into this with intentions to sell you off as a criminal, to bail themselves out and used you as a scapegoat.'

He packs stuff up and walks towards the door before Chris Wrestling leaves.

'Take a think about it, look around, ask a few questions, try and find out why you're being interrogated from a crime non of your own, figure it out and do something about it in your own way, but if it's serious enough, remember me and the police, ok?'

Chris Wrestling: Don't worry, I think I know what to do, I'll sort this out, don't you worry, don't you worry one bit... I think he better start though! Now, I must get back to the casino I'm late as hell!

Chris Wrestling, unimpressed, desperate to leave, still sweaty, tired and arrogated, nods and grabs the handle to the door, ripping it open and launching himself out the room in a real hurry, his lawyer just shakes his head and exits following not so far behind him to book Chris Wrestling out.
