Power…. It’s such a graceful, yet knowledgeable and dominant attribute, people strife and battle yet seek conquer for an illuminate greatness, power being the ultimate strife in one’s life, in one’s action, in one’s surrounding. A man, a woman, day by day travel and take every step fighting the constitutions one offers in life, either fighting against the odds or on the evens, we either battle that action of self fortitude and use power to our advantage…. or if lucks not on our side tonight, try to abolish using technique, speed, agility, or strength, using whatever there is to offer against the demise of power itself…. life is a journey, but its not a free ride. But as we travel these roads, will power be ours? Who gets the advantage and chance of a lifetime and hold that power? Do we have it in our ability to grab it, or is it not our time and have to fight it, there’s really only one way to find out, live life and see…. or in this case, come Showdown, we fight for it.

Just outside of Grants Pass in Oregon, up in the Freeland Mountain's.

It's a hot day, sun beaming down, and being such a wooded area, I'd like to say it was nice and cool, being shadowed by the trees, but after a year spent in the mountains, heats needed through the winter, certain things need to be built, so trees need cutting down. His own piece of land now, a cabin, and other necessities, a nice home has been built, but its an outside day, more wood is needed, and there he stands, axe in hand with a huge tree lying in front of him, you know him best as The Canadian Perfect Chris Wrestling.

Cowboy boots, and the jeans to fit, he beats down at the tree removing branches and such, a years practice out here doing this day after day, it feels more homey, relaxing and normal then ever. Chris Wrestling now, a local town helper, goes out of his own way, delivering wood to the local towns who need it, from Cave Junction to Grant's Pass to Sunny Valley. He spent a career in the sport he's devoted himself so much to, its now paid off, saving money for years, getting paid all he deserves and now living in his own peace, his house, his land, his own freedom, working in the sun.. but about to be proven, not everyday can be a sunny day, Chris Wrestling continues to fine down the tree for its wood until he hears his cell phone. Vibrating away on a nearby stump, next to his shirt and other daily living equipment, Crow rests the axe against the tree, removes his gloves, and walks on over, he wipes away the sweat from his face with his shirt and picks up the cell, looks at the number and answers.

Chris Wrestling: Danny, been a while, hows things?

- Hey man, good to hear your voice, I'm ok though, hows life in the outland?

Chris Wrestling: Listen Danny, I know you or anyone else wanted to accept my leaving, but, I needed this, I needed to get away, be by myself, it was for the best, for me, and everyone else.

- Hey you don't got to explain yourself any more then you have already, people do what they need to do, whether their strange or not.

Chris Wrestling: Cheers, well, so what do I owe the troubles of you calling?

A moment of silence takes place.

Chris Wrestling: Danny?

- Now, before I tell you this you got to promise me you won't go crazy, ok?

Chris Wrestling: Danny, what's going on? Is it Sara? She ok?

- She's fine, well, fine for now anyway.

Chris Wrestling: What you mean, for now? What have you done?

- No, no, nothing, listen, I've taken care of her, just like you asked, after you two split, I've done my best to keep you two up to date with how good you're both doing, aside the heartbreak of your break up, but, it appears my eyes weren't open all the time.

Chris Wrestling: Danny, you've always been there for me, you've never let me down and I appreciate that, but you're not exactly being clear here, what's going on?

Another session of silence goes by.

- About 3 months ago, Sara was hitting some financial problems, she had a couple of medical bills need paying, and then a couple more bills for others came, and it just seemed after each bill she paid, two more were coming, but she was doing fine. I constantly asked her if she was ok, if she needed help, I was there, and you were there if she needed any more help, but the clear picture was, she was coping fine, and then suddenly it all just went away.

Chris Wrestling: Danny you're not making yourself any clearer here, if she's ok, and there's still a problem...

- Well, that's just it, because all the problems went away, it seemed fine, there was nothing to question, Sara carried on working at the hospital, life was going normal, until last week...

Chris Wrestling: Danny... what happened?

- Well I dropped some stuff around Sara's and there was a couple of cars in the drive, and across the street, normally I'd assume some guests, but these cars weren't your average suburb house wife vehicles.

Chris Wrestling: Then who were they...

- I didn't know at first, but it struck me suspicious, so I went in, and, there were about 5 guys, I think they were German, they were all in suits and packing weapons in there shirts, it didn't look good from the get go.

Chris Wrestling: Danny, if they hurt Sara you better tell me...

- No, that's just it, they weren't there to hurt her, I didn't know at the time but they packed up talking and left, Sara was on the couch crying, and then she told me what had been happening. She said when the bills were coming in, she received a couple of outstanding bills from her mother's and father's deaths, it wasn't a pretty sum, but she hadn't that money lying around, she didn't want to ask me or you, or anyone else. So she heard rumors of a local loan shark, and she borrowed the money off him to clear all the debt, only problem now is, he wants the money back, and Sara hasn't got it, I haven't got it.

Chris Wrestling pacing the dirt, going back and forth in his own tracks, thinking.

Chris Wrestling: How much?

- It's not a pret....

Chris Wrestling: HOW MUCH!!!!?

- ......it's..... it's 200 thousand dollars man.

Chris Wrestling's eyes widen as much as possible, shock overwhelms him as he stumbles back and falls seated on the stump.

- She managed to pay off 20 what she had left, and 10 from her own savings, that was just to buy her a week though, he's coming back tomorrow for 220 thousands, that being interest, he said she has the money, or....

An uncomfortable silence mists over the situation.

Chris Wrestling: ...Or what?

- Or she's dead!

Chris Wrestling can't believe it, his other hand shoots to his head, he grips a handful of hair and looks about everywhere.

Chris Wrestling: Why the hell didn't you tell me sooner?

- You don't think I wanted too? Sara asked me not too, she would find a way without you ever knowing, but its cutting it short don't you think? I went around today and she was in bits, she couldn't find a way, but don't worry, I packed up some of her things and she's staying at my sister's, but, only way this is going to disappear is if these guys get their money.

Chris Wrestling, now calmer, stands and rushes towards his house.

Chris Wrestling: Danny, I know why you called me, not just because it's Sara, but you know what money I have left, I've got everything paid off up here for a lifetime, this is mine, but I was still hoping for the rest I had saved, to save me from a stormy day, but it looks like it's going to have to save somebody else.

- You know if I could have done it any other way I would have.

Chris Wrestling: Not to worry about that now.

- How much do you have? I can save you with 10 but that's it, Kristy will kill me if I take any more out the savings.

Chris Wrestling: Danny, don't worry about it, I have almost 250 left, I'm going to forward you the money as soon as I get out to town!

- But, that's everything, what you going to do? You still need to live, food, stock, supplies, otherwise, you can't fork around on what you have left...

Chris Wrestling: Looks like I have no choice, but maybe the unemployment line might have to come to an end.

- You don't mean?

Chris Wrestling: I sure do Danny, it pays the bills and well, I've always been there for it, it's about time it's there for me.

- So where?

Chris Wrestling standing inside, pulls open a drawer, lifts out a letter and opens it up, he stares down hard and forceful.

Chris Wrestling: A place that feels just like home.

- I'm sorry it had to come to this, but it was always your calling, maybe its best, it's just a poor way to go.

Chris Wrestling: Well Sara always hated it, I think now maybe she'll be thankful that I spent all those years in the ring, just for this day, to save her ass.

- I'm sorry.

Chris Wrestling: Don't be, I'll feed you the money as soon as I get to town, don't tell Sara who saved her, she might guess, but maybe it's better if she doesn't know, I'm glad you called Danny, maybe when I hear from you again, it'll be under better circumstances, I'll see you around!

Chris Wrestling drops the phone from his ear, hangs up and stares a little more at the letter as he drops it to the table looking at the header.

Chris Wrestling: Sanctioned Violence Organization.

Chris Wrestling shakes his head, picks up a nearby shirt, puts it on and picks up his keys to his truck, he walks on outside and takes a deep breath as he looks into the bright blue sunny sky, it all comes to an end, or maybe its a beginning? Chris Wrestling gets into his truck, and starts a new journey, a journey to today.
