Faith had fallen into a deep sleep on the bathroom floor. She was awoken abruptly by the sounds of two of her sisters trying to get ready around her. She rolls onto her back and looks up at her sisters fighting over the mirror.

“I feel empty.” Faith yawns, raising her arm to cover eyes from the burning bulb.

“Two hours of vomiting will do that to you.” Stephanie finished her sentence sarcastically, she turned the cold tap on and reached for a glass, she handed the glass to Faith and smiled.

“No, I feel empty.” She accepts the glass and places it next to her. With the feeling of her stomach doing triple back somersaults, she wasn’t going to attempt to drink it just yet.

“You’re lucky. I feel pissed off.” Mercedes states; fiddling with her hair in the mirror.

“What do you have to be pissed off about?” Faith asks innocently, finally moving her arms her eyes having adjusted to the light. “Wait. Why are yall getting so glammed up, where are ya going?”

“She's pissed because the guy she likes at Church has the hots for me. Not her.” Stephanie mocks, applying lip gloss. Mercedes sits down in the bath, completely dressed and stretches out.

“He does not and where else would we be going on a Wednesday? We got Choir practice.”

“Oh god, Mommas not expecting me too. She is isn't she?” Faith grimaces, the thought of attending a choir practice, with a hangover was not that appealing to her.

Stephanie nods smirking broadly. “Yea but not for a while, you got time.”

“We just like to look good. You don't think we just wake up looking this good do you?”

“No No I get it. You wanna look good for a guy, but don't fall for a church guy. They are always the worst.” She exaggerates. Faith loved giving advice to her sisters, it was something she could feel a lot of gratitude for doing. Stephanie steps over Faith on the floor and steps into the bath; she sits at the opposite end to Mercedes.

“We used to do this so much” Faith started to giggle a little bit. “Do you remember when you me and Cord convinced you that if you cut your Barbie's hair it would grow back?” Faith asks Stephanie between giggles. The three of them burst into hysterics.

“I’m gonna throw up again.” The laughter rapidly stops, Faith crawls over to the toilet bowl and Mercedes and Stephanie slide the shower door shut.

“No wait, false alarm.” She pulls away from the toilet bowl and they open up the shower door again. Faith goes back to lying on the floor. “The problem is estrogen.”

“No the problem is tequila.” Mercedes corrects Faith’s statement, as though she is an expert on the subject, but her knowledge is quickly corrected once again.

“More like whiskey.” Stephanie smirks.

“I used to be all business and then I… I… had sex. Everything changes. Girls do me a favor. Never have sex. Actually don't do anything I've ever done.”

“That doesn't leave us with a lot.” Stephanie’s voice brought Faith back from the remembrance of what she once given up.

“Good. Learn from my mistakes.” She didn’t want her sisters to feel what she had felt, no one should have to feel it.

“What about when you've been right?”

“Still don't do it because I probably only got there AFTER I was wrong.” A sudden burst of energy brought Faith back to a sitting position; she had promised Lil before her binge session that she would work the double to make up for missing three days the previous week. “Think Momma will let me borrow the pick up?” Faith was still a little tipsy and did not want to risk driving one of her precious cars in that condition.

“Not in your state.”

“No way.”

“Twenty bucks says you didn't know.” Faith offers pulling some notes out of her bra.

“Each.” They say in unison.

“Fine.” Faith counts out forty dollars in tens and throws it into the bathtub. “Next time hold out for forty each. Did I teach you nothing?” She giggles placing the remaining notes into her bra and reaches up using the sink to pull herself up, she stumbles a bit, trying to find her ground. It had been a while since she had been stood up. She looked at herself in the mirror and quickly turned away. The bags under her eyes were an indication of a good night before, but as a Coyote, they were an unwelcome hazard of the job. “Tell Momma I’m sorry!”

“That’s an extra forty.” Stephanie calls out.

“Put it on my tab” Faith pokes her tongue out at her sisters as she stumbles towards her bedroom.

Faith’s room was reminiscent of a typical teenage girls room, although Faith was definitely not an average teen, let alone still a teen but it was comfortable, she grew up in it and as she always said, why fix what ain’t broke? White walls, with matching white and powder pink furniture. A Vanity table decorated with white fluffy fairy lights. The walls had various posters for bands, her high school football team (although she dropped out, she was still an avid fan of the Checotah Wildcats).

Faith pulls the chair out from under the vanity and makes herself comfortable, shifting her weight in the chair whilst pulling out a tray of make up from the top drawer. She applies the basics, nothing too outrageous; Faith was good looking and knew it. She didn’t need make up; she just used it to extenuate what beauty she already had. First the foundation, applying an extra layer around the eyes to hide the bags under them, then solid black eyeliner, thicker then most girls wear it but not too thick, black and silver mascara, Benefit cheek tint, followed by Punky Fish Punk It Up lip gloss (Shameless advertising). Once finished, she blows a kiss to herself in the mirror and makes her way to the walk in closet.

The closet is mainly filled with your average girly type clothes. Faith sifts through various skirts and halters but cannot decide what she wants to wear for her double shift. She glances over her shoulder and does a double take as she reads the clock face. 9:51 am. It was going to take her at least an hour to drive to work and her first shift was due to start at 11.

“SHIT!” She exclaimed, grabbing the first thing out of the wardrobe she could. A pair of camo skinny flared pants and a black bikini style halter top. She threw the hanger over her arm, grabbed her clutch purse and practically sprinted out of the house, grabbing the keys to the truck on her way through the kitchen.

Approximately one hour, seventeen minutes and fifty two seconds later…

“Your eight minutes later Winchester”

“Your minute counting now? What is this Zurich? C’mon Lil, traffic was bad”

“Yeah, I think we caught the report” Lil smirks. “Ladies and gentleman, there is a mad woman, racing to get to work on time having celebrated all night long with Jack Jim and Jose” She mocks, Lil picks up a remote control from the bar and clicks it, the large projection screen at the end of the bar flickers to life with highlights from Faith’s match at Showdown.

Faith says nothing, shying away to hide the reddish tint appearing on her face and laying her stuff on the bar.

“It’s synched up so whenever Rob comes on through the juke box, the big screen plays too.”

In the middle of the bar, Faith slips of her boots, and slides her hot pants down her well defined legs, she picks up the camo flares and pulls them on, stepping back into her boots. She pulls the cut off wildcats t-shirt over her head and puts the bikini top on over her bra, once firmly tied she unclips her bra and pulls it from underneath. She screws the clothes up into a bundle and places them on the bar. Faith pulls herself up and over, once on the other side of the bar she puts her clothes under and pulls out a trademark Coyote cowgirl hat.

“I’m really looking forward to my math this week. Should be… interesting.” As Faith speaks, she warms up with some simple flaring. “I mean I don’t know much about this Equinox guy but he kinda reminds me of Keanu Reeves in the Matrix.” Although it had never been her strength as a coyote, what she could do, she loved doing. “But definitely not as impressive. Ya know I was reading up on him, trying to be all efficient and actually doing some research on my opponent, I mean with 50k on the line you would too right? Anyways, High flyer. Definitely gonna get interesting. Only thing he’s possibly gonna catch me out on is the kung fu panda shit. ”

“Screw his technical ability Faith, what about the gossip, any skeletons in his closet, crazy ex girlfriends?” Lil asks.

“Cage fights, PlayStation, X-Games, Raider Nation, Oversize pants with an ego to match” She throws a bottle in the air, she catches it but it slips, Lil winces, waiting for the smash, but it didn’t follow.

“OMIGOD” Faith lifted her knee into the air and reached down picking the balancing bottle from her foot. “Did you see that?” She laughed, placing the bottles in the bar rack.

“That woulda come outta your pay packet” Lil smiles, as she opens the doors to the Saloon, she fires up the juke box before making her way to the bar; the first song, The Charles Daniels Band, Devil Went Down To Georgia.

“On the bar girls” Lil calls out. The girls sigh.

“But there is no one here” One of them replies.

“Warm up.” Faith smiled, she loved dancing to this particular number with or without an audience. She pulled herself up on the bar, using the rack as a step up. She two steps her way up the bar to the beat, giving the other girls an extra hand up to the bar, once they were in position they started the routine.

“Right heel, left heel, right right, left heel, right heel, left left” Lil calls like a drill sergeant as the girls do the steps in perfect unity “right turn, 4 5 6 7 8 change 2 3 4 5 6 7 8” Lil bangs her hand on the bar with the beat as the girls keep the beat with their heel toe steps. “Right heel, left, right kick, left heel, right, left kick, right heel, left, right kick, left heel, right, left kick That’s My Girls!” Lil laughs loudly.

“The devil bowed his head because he knew that he'd been beat. And he laid that golden fiddle on the ground at Johnny's feet.” Faith sang seductively as she slid into the splits at Jersey’s feet

“Johnny said, "Devil, just come on back if you ever want to try again. 'Cause I told you once, you son of a BITCH, I'm the best that's ever been." Jersey continued as the girls began to dance wildly around them for the remainder of the song.

BANG!

Faith winced as her father grabbed her wrist. He squeezed it so tightly, it hurt her. She tried not to let it show on her face. She stormed over to the door and shut it. She didn't want her sisters to see or hear what was going on.

“John Shaw was your friend Daddy, mine too. How can you say that? How can you say he, they, the Shaws’ ruined our family? Wait is this because Dean wouldn't help you CHEAT to win or because I'm sleeping with him? That's right Daddy. Dean's been staying here. In my bed. With me.” She knew her words would hurt her father like daggers. She took a step towards him, looking up at him, at only five foot she was dwarfed by him but at that very moment Faith didn't care.

There were a thousand things she wanted to say to him. A thousand things more painful she wanted to DO. She didn't want to waste her time with it however it was too late. He had already dragged her down to his level. She could no longer hold back the emotion she had kept within since that night.

“You think I'm trying to ruin your life Daddy? Just shows you how selfish you truly are. Do you know in the last month I haven’t thought about you once? I wouldn't even waste my breathe uttering your name. So why would I bother trying to ruin your life?” Faith wasn't backing down. She took another step forward. Only inches between them before they were toe to toe. Faith gave her father a disgusted look.

“I never once denied you were my father. I always said you were my Daddy. My hero. Now that I’m older I’ve realized the truth that yes you may still be my Daddy, which will never change, no matter how much I would like it too but you are no hero.” She took another step, now standing toe to toe with him. She didn’t want to fight her own father but if it came down to it, she would.

The scene before her flickered; she squints like a bright light was being shone into her eyes. As the light dims, Faith finds herself back at the CU in Tulsa, all the girls looking down over her.

“Uh- wha…” She can barley speak, she raises her hand to the back of her head and pulls herself up whilst she clutches it.

“You slipped on some ice, you came down pretty hard, you okay?” Lil asks, lending her a helping hand as she gets up.

“Yea.. I’m fine I guess…”
