OVERLOOKED....

"Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power." --Abraham Lincoln

"Tears are the rinse water of an unhappy heart." --Raynor Schein

"Grief can't be shared. Everyone carries it alone, his own burdens, his own way." --Anne Morrow Lindbergh

We open. Just like normal. Nothing new or exciting. The scene however is beautiful. The lake. Lake Lanier to be exactly. Hall County, Georgia. Out on the lake a black speed boat with a red line down both sides. Speeding across the water, and the man at the helm is non other then Steven Steele. Blue swim trunks, a unbuttoned hawaii style shirt, and shades. Steele's is enjoying his ride, as you can tell he is growing his beard back. Finally after what seems like hours of driving Steele comes to a stop. Center of the lake. Steele looks around and then takes a few steps and walks around his boat. He reaches down to a cooler and pulls out a beer. Bud Lite. Steele sits down, his speed boat off. The sun beating down on him. Steele has a smile on his face as he drinks his beer.

Steven Steele: I like it. I enjoy every second of it. Overlooked. Not taken seriously. Not being heard. Not being seen. I enjoy it because that means no one will expect it when I steal the show. The SVO roster has done a great job in running off the outsiders that I came here with. The talent has done a great job in making them feel unwanted, and not needed. I have never been in such hostile waters as I am right now. Alone, in the middle with nowhere to go. However that is my comfort zone. I enjoy it like that. My back against the wall. Being by myself and enemies on all sides of me. Any odds I like because I can over come anything and everything. Just like with Showdown comming up. No one is paying any mind to Steven Steele. No one is hearing the storm that is on the way.

They look the other way. They ignore all the warning signs. They go and want matches with people they are use to. They don't want a match with a man that is different. They don't have any tapes, books, recordings, or material to go on about who I am or what I can do. No preperation for me. They can ask the guys I came in with, and each one of them will give you a different answer. You can ready yourself for a man of my ability. I will bring different looks and a different feel each and everytime I face another man in that ring. I do not preform the normal cycle of movements in a match. There isn't one vintage high point I go for just to get a reaction. I bring alot of looks and alot of different angles.

So why am I being ignored? I am not seen as a threat in the eyes of Psyko Stevo, and yes I said his name right this time. I am not seen as a major player to guys like Alex Ross, Night, Talon, Julian Fiasco, Peter Gilmour, or even Christian Roman. However that's fine. Don't take me as a threat. Ignore the plague that is comming. Ignore the revelation. Ignore me. When everything is all said and done, and Showdown is over...Steven Steele will make an impact. Somebody is gonna bleed. You may not know me and you may not want to know me. Howe you feel about me, matters not. What does matter is when I take a major championship and call it my own. It will matter when I take your heros and watch them fall at my feet.

Gunner Lang. A man waiting to fall. A man that if picked to face me, well I will make sure he never forgets me. Sensei Shredder? Another ant to be stepped on. Equinox? Whatever. Billy Jacobs, a man that was lucky to even be in the International Championship match. Howie Banks...or is it Mandel? Doesn't matter, another one to fall. Kaden Alonzo? A man making an impact on Night for the International Title? Alonzo a cheap shot artist, a man that could never beat me one on one. Are you seeing the pattern? Are you starting to grasp it?

What about Carrig, Raven, Thornhill, or Manson? The four men that are struggling in the SVO? Remeber, I was the only one of my brothers to win a the ppv. I am off to a better start then any of them and if they want to face me then by all means, step up to the plate. You see, I am not here to make deals and be some big time mafia guy that does the whole 'what happens in vegas stays in vegas' thing. I am not here to look like the Green Lantern. I am not here because ACDC did a remake to Thunderstruck. I am not here for any gimmicks.

I want to win. If I have to mention every person on the planet earth then I will do just that. I am going to a wrestling event. I am going up against potentially everyone on the SVO roster and by god I will mention as many as I can because while I may not respect anyone here in SVO, it is respect for the game and wrestling itself. I will NOT ignore. I may see all of you as jokes to the wrestling business, but I will not ignore. I will bring glory back to SVO. Glory will be mine. The SVO Championship will be around my waist. Fuck paying dues. Been there, done that, and I have plenty of t-shirts.

I dont know how many times I have to break down the doors before someone looks back and sees no matter how many times you close the door, or knock me down I will get back up. Steven Steele is a man that will be heard and will be taken very seriously. I swear to you as I am sitting in this boat, on this lake that by the end of the month I will have an SVO Championship match, and I will become the NEXT SVO Champion. One way or the other.

I have my sights set. I know what I want and I will not settle for anything less. Before it's all over, I will be the next SVO Champion. You may not like me, and you may hate me for saying that but I look forward to feeling the hate I get and the looks I get when I stand over the bloody body of Alex Ross and hold the SVO Championship and bring the SVO into a golden age. LIke I have said before, I am here to make no friends. I am here to do what I need to do in order to bring SVO back to wrestling. Stop the politics. Stop the hand jobs for match wins, and stop having paper champions.

When you look into the eyes of Steven Steele you don't see a man with empty threats. You see a man filled with promises. You see a man that will make others bleed in order to get what he wants. SVO, I will rescue. I will show the world what kind of talent they have. I will show the svo world that the men they call champions are nothing more then pretenders. So I am very ready for Sunday. Try to break me. Try to stop me. Try and run my out of the SVO. Remember, keep ignoring me. Keep treating me like I dont exsist.

...Keep telling yourself I am nothing. Keep reminding yourself when you wake up that Steven Steele was just a dream, but there is
nothing like waking up from a bad dream into a much worse reality. Unlike a dream...I can hurt you...

Steele toast as he finishes his beer. He smiles and then gets up. He turns his boat back and and speeds off. You look to the sky. The blue sky, the sun flashing down and then a flash of white....fade to black...end...
