We fade in from black and find Frank and Rick pulling out of a small car lot in what looks like an old rusted out AMC Gremlin. As they begin to drive down the road we focus outside the driver’s side window where we see their last car, crashed into a telephone pole.

Frank ‘I can’t believe you picked this piece of shit.’

Rick ‘Actually I picked that Monte Carlo you ran into a telephone pole. I bought this because I had no money left.’

Frank ‘What about the money from your ex-wife’s account. Just use some of that. We’ll win it back.’

Rick ‘First of all, we’re not divorced … we’re not going to gamble … and I didn’t drain my wife’s account …’

Narrator ‘Actually Rick had drained his wife’s bank account.’

We cut to footage from an ATM security camera. We see Rick walking up to the ATM in a generic fake beard and sunglasses disguise. After punching in his wife’s code Rick begins dancing and throwing all the money being dispensed in the air. Once it finishes he looks around for witnesses, and then collects the money off the ground quickly, before running away.

Narrator ‘He used the money to fund a project he hoped would revive his directing career.’

We cut to a movie set where we find a very poorly put together model city. It is clear that the buildings and cars are just made out of Styrofoam, and appear to be no bigger than a few feet high.

Voice ‘This is never gonna work.’

We pan to the right quickly, and find that the voice belongs to Gary Coleman, who is painted green and wearing a pair of torn purple shorts.

Narrator ‘Needless to say, “Honey I shrunk the Incredible Hulk” never saw the light of day.’

We cut back inside the car where we find Frank staring a hole through Rick.

Frank ‘What do you mean you didn’t drain her account? Why are we going to Vegas then?’

Rick ‘You really don’t listen to me do you?’

Rick looks over at Frank and finds him staring out the window ignoring him.

Frank ‘Uh huh.’

Rick ‘Seriously Frank try to pay attention for a minute. First of all we’re not going to Vegas anymore.’

A smile comes across Frank’s face as he focuses on Rick.

Frank ‘Vegas!?’

Rick ‘No, we’re not going to Vegas.’

Frank frowns and looks back out the window.

Rick ‘We were going to Vegas, but you got us kicked off the plane.’

Frank slumps down in his seat.

Rick ‘Luckily though … I got a hold of the management and they are Fed-Exing your contract to Toronto.’

Frank ‘Toronto? Do they have gambling there?’

Rick shakes his head and seems to have had it.

Rick ‘You’re not gambling, you’re wrestling!’

Franks looks over at Rick and starts laughing.

Frank ‘Yeah … I’m wrestling …’

Frank rolls his eyes.

Frank ‘… so how big is the casino?’

Rick shakes his head and looks into the camera, frustrated. He looks back at Frank still shaking his head.

Rick ‘No, we’re not gambling … you’re fighting for the Las Vegas Championship, for a company called sVo.’

Frank looks at Rick confused.

Frank ‘… you said we weren’t going to Vegas.’

Rick ‘We’re not, we’re going to Toronto.’

Frank ‘I’m going to Toronto … to fight for the Las Vegas Championship?’

Rick ‘Yep.’

Frank sits back in his seat and leans his head back. He begins looking around trying to wrap his mind around what’s happening.

Frank ‘Wait … I’m not a wrestler anymore. I’m a movie star now.’

Rick ‘Really? What movies have you been in?’

We cut to a shot of Frank, standing on a very familiar set. He is dressed in a horrible Super Villain costume, and is hiding his face with his hands. We then cut back to the car.

Frank ‘I hate to say you’re right Rick, but … you’re right Rick.’

Rick smiles, and you can almost see a weight lifting off his shoulders.

Frank ‘So it’s for the World Title right? I mean … if the champ is driving all the way to Tennessee it better be for the strap.’

Rick ‘Toronto.’

Frank ‘What?’

Rick ‘The show is in Toronto.’

Frank ‘What did I say?’

Rick ‘Tennessee.’

Frank ‘Oh Tennessee … let’s stop and get some whiskey!’

Rick ‘No we don’t have time, and we’re not going to Tennessee.’

Narrator ‘Frank was confused that his natural reaction wasn’t to immediately slap Rick in the back of the head. He began to wonder if maybe he should take this seriously.’

Frank looks over at Rick and smiles.

Frank ‘This one time Rick. This one time I’m going to let you win.’

Rick ‘… thanks.’

Frank ‘Clean and sober from here on out. It’s going to be different this time.’

Rick looks over at Frank and smiles. He continues looking at Frank and smiling for far too long, and a single tear begins running down Rick’s cheek.

Rick ‘We can do thi…’

BOOSH!

We cut to a shot outside the car to find that Frank and Rick have once again managed to wrap a car around a telephone pole. Frank begins making his way out of the car, and is dusting broken glass off his shirt. He looks up at the telephone pole and shakes his head before looking back into the car and finding Rick slumped over the steering wheel knocked out. He then looks up slightly, as the camera also pans up, and sees that the car has come to a stop right outside a bar. Frank begins scratching his beard looking back and forth between the bar and Rick. He eventually shrugs his shoulders and begins to walk around the car as Rick is waking up.

Rick ‘FRANK!?’

Frank, who has the bar door halfway open, sighs and lets it close.

Frank ‘So close.’

Frank walks back over to the car and attempts to open the driver’s side door but it is stuck.

Frank ‘You’re going to have to climb across.’

Rick begins climbing out of the car holding his head with one hand. He finally makes it out, but falls onto the pavement.

Frank ‘OK here we go.’

Frank walks over to Rick and grabs the back of his trench coat. He lifts Rick off the ground by it and carries him over to the sidewalk, where he drops him.

Frank ‘So we were talking about my World Title match.’

Rick ‘What?’

Frank ‘You said I had a title match … the one we were driving to.’

Rick gets himself up to one knee and Frank pulls him up to his feet.

Rick ‘Yeah, but it's not a World Title ... it's the Las Vegas Title.’

A huge smile comes across Frank's face as he grabs Rick’s shoulder. Rick winces in pain, but Frank just squeezes his shoulder tighter.

Frank ‘I knew they loved me Ricky. They want me to carry the company from day one, and hey who can blame em? It's obvious to anyone who has ever seen me wrestle that I'm the top dog in any company, and as long as the paychecks are right …’

Rick ‘No Frank they have a World Champ.’

Frank’s expression changes to that of confusion.

Rick ‘He’s the top guy.’

Frank ‘But the company runs most of its show out of Vegas right?’

Rick ‘Right.’

Frank ‘… and I’m fighting for the Vegas Title right?’

Rick ‘Right.’

Frank ‘Eh, I think my title is more important then.’

Rick ‘Well it’s not your title yet, and no … it’s not more important.’

Frank ‘I think I'm going to have to go ahead and disagree with you there.’

Rick ‘What part do you disagree with?’

Frank ‘Every part Ricky … every part.’

Frank tightens his grip on Rick’s shoulder as Rick looks up at him in pain.

Frank ‘So who is the kid with my strap?’

Rick ‘Uh … no one has it right now.’

Frank ‘So we just have to drive up there and grab it? That’s great! Let’s go celebrate.’

Frank begins walking towards the bar and tries to bring Rick with him, but Rick resists.

Rick ‘No we can’t just go grab it … you have a match. A battle royal actually.’

Frank ‘Well, way to get my hopes up.’

Rick ‘Sorry?’

Frank ‘It’s alright.’

Rick shakes his head.

Rick ‘OK so, lets not waste anymore time. We need to get up to Toronto and you need to get some rest if you're going to beat those nine other guys.’

Frank shakes his head.

Frank 'Two seconds ago we were just going up there to pick up a belt, and now you’ve got me fighting nine guys?’

Rick ‘You were always fighting nine guys.’

Frank ‘Not five seconds ago.’

Rick gets frustrated and puts his head in his hand. The second he does Frank sees his opening and, very quietly, makes his way around Rick and into the bar. By the time Rick picks his head back up Frank is gone. Rick spins around looking for him and then heads into the bar as we fade to black.

Narrator ‘Next time ...’

We return to a shot of the outside of the bar. The door swings open and Frank and Rick come stumbling out. They slowly make their way to the car, which is still smashed into the pole. Both men go to the passenger side and climb in. Frank climbs across to the driver’s seat.

Frank ‘Clean and sober starting tomorrow Ricky I promise. Now … we’re off to Tennessee.’

Frank goes to put the key in the ignition, but when he leans forward he falls asleep on the wheel. We begin fading to black as the camera pans over to Rick and finds that he has also fallen asleep.
