The air is different. Cars are running on cleaner fuel and the planets lungs are pumping clean oxygen out into the atmosphere here. It might not help that the air is much more pure and thin on top of the mountain either.

The amazon rain forest is home to some strange things. Recently, the world just learned about a primitive and secluded tribe in Brazil. They were never seen before until a low-flying airplane for the government took pictures of the tribesmen. Can you imagine the fear in their eyes? Not only did they just hear an incredible unnatural noise with the planes' turbo jets but they saw something flying in the air. They didn't know if it was their own version of Satan, a life form from another planet, or an attack. It was something new to their eyes...

Their eyes were as black as the souls of the Spanish and Portuguese who came to South America. The ones who stole the continents gold and silver, killed their tribesmen, their sons and daughters, raped their women, deposed and mocked their Gods and proclaimed themselves holy and working under the name of Jesus Christ.

They weren't armed with much when they perceived the plane as a threat and as a Lochness Monster type of giant that was ready to eat them. They just had spears, they were supposed to stab and kill their enemies with them. They are made out of sharp rocks cut into arrowheads with other rocks when struck together. The rocks are just as gray and as sharp any piece of steel knife that could be made in Pittsburgh, which might as well be called another planet to them.

The pilot of the plane feels no pity on these people. He ruined their lives and doesn't even know it. He probably caused the downfall of the entire tribe. They are psychologically already defeated, their tribes leader was probably killed or voted out because he did not protect them against this flying giant. The Brazilian government is probably going out to get them, archaeologist and sociologist are going to try to go and study them, disrupting their lives. That is, of course, if the loggers don't get there first. But the pilot is oblivious to this and just keeps flying into the beautiful white clouds.

Today the Amazon and Brazil are home to a few more strange things. For example, it is home for a few hours to wreckless professional wrestlers. Some of them are trying to put their demons behind them and some of them are making up demons to play with. Maybe in Brazil it will be more acceptable for a grown man to have an imaginary friend. They are, after all, living in the past in many ways. So, maybe this country is where the bit belongs.

While many of the sVo wrestlers are under Rio's infamous statue of Jesus or partaking in Brazil's most famous tourist sensation... visiting the whorehouses or bringing prostitutes to their hotel rooms... Mike Manson is under a tree, up on the mountain, mediating and breathing in the aforementioned rich air.

He is filling his lungs with as much of the beautiful air as he can. His body stops all motion, his lungs lock up, his heart rate drops, as he is reaching a point of pure bliss inside his mind on the road to enlightenment.

After holding that breath still in his lungs for a solid twenty or thirty seconds, Manson begins to very slowly exhale all of the breathe out of his lungs through his nose. As he is doing so his eyes never open. He looks concentrated and tuned into his thoughts.

Mike Manson: Doing this profession for a living, as somewhat of a Buddhist, is perplexing. The goal in life is to end suffering. Not just your own suffering but the suffering of humanity. The suffering of your brothers and sisters in nature; the animals, to end suffering in the world. Yet, every week I am contractually obligated to go and try to inflict as much pain onto another man that I can. I make myself infest the mind of another man. I am told to make this man to suffer for the entertainment of the viewing public... and you know what, I am happy to do that.

Mike Manson: Compassion. .. I am supposed to have compassion for the world and all of the creatures in it to successfully walk this path to enlightenment. How is that suppose to work? Am I suppose to go into the ring with Zero at Showdown kick him in the jaw and then him to show my compassion for his soul?

Mike Manson: I think I found an answer that suits me best. You see... In Sri Lanka there is a very large Buddhist community. There have been every since the King of India sent his son to Sri Lanka after the third great Buddhist council after the rift created among the followers of Buddha after the enlightened ones death. Well, these people are loyal followers. But they do things a little differently. They go to what to me appears to be a church service worshiping Gods and not ones self. They, the church services, look like a mixture between vodoo practices, Reverend Wright's preaching at the Trinity Church and a Rock-a-Hula Luau... and throw in a bit of a mental asylum there too... It not exactly following the way to Nirvana and the teachings of the enlightened one, in my opinion, but these people are devoted to Buddhism. So, why do I mention this? Well, if that entire community can seem to preach one thing and do another for their own good and brotherhood is it really bad? If I have to go and show a man suffering for the better of the community, can it be all bad? If I go and fight Zero, make him suffer, but teach him along the way is that not a lesson that ought to be learned? This shows me that it is possible to end suffering by making one suffer. Perhaps it will help him and the community.

Mike Manson: Zero, you may be confused. I don't expect you not to be. It is understandable. You may be confused of who I am. You may think that I am just some guy who enjoys sitting under a tree and starring into the insides of my eyelids and debate the validity of nothingness. You may not know how to handle me, but I know how to handle you. It was let known a few hours ago to everyone who doesn't know me, that I was once lost on this path; I was once following the same road that you are on now... So, I know how to get you... I know how to beat you... I know how to make you suffer because I knew how to make myself suffer. I knew how to beat myself... thus, I know how to beat you.

Mike Manson: Once a master was with his student, and his student wanted to be awaken; he wanted to be enlightened. After many teachings, many years, many hours of sitting in meditation the man didn't know if he reached enlightenment. He looked at his master and asked if he had reached enlightenment. The master gets up, shakes his head, lifts up his robe and shows his student his naked body. The body is covered with chalices from sitting in meditation for so long on the hard ground and from certain other things. This showed the student that he did not know if he reached enlightenment but his body suffered a lot to get where he is at now... and his mind now was a peaceful one.

Mike Manson: Zero, through suffering we will both learn... Yes, suffering will be used as an effective teaching measure at Showdown. Perhaps next time you don't know anything about who will wrestle you can actually care a little to find out or mention them. After I show you how sad your mistake was, then at that moment, my mind will be a peaceful one.

He opens his eyes. His eyeballs are completely white. There is no exposed blood vessel. It is just mainly white, oxygenated and beautiful.

Surprisingly, the old gray shirt that Mike Manson is wearing isn't covered with any sweat during this hot day in the Amazon.

If there is nothing in one's mind, then your mind is black.
