I remember when angels talked to me in my sleep. They told me I needed to come back to my senses, back to my home, but I didn't want to hear them. They showed me a life I'd have if I went up to heaven with them. I saw my older brother and my mother, both whom I hadn't seen in ages. Well, ever since they bled out of my sores. They smiled at me, told me that I had to go back and do my thing. Be Kerry Millano, the Career Killer, the Dream Maker. My brother rooted me on from the clouds, floating alongside Jimi Hendrix and Bob Marley. I couldn't shake a smile but what my brother said stuck with me, even through the grins. Be Kerry Millano. I knew exactly what he meant too.. but could I do it? Then the belt loosened up from around my bicep and blue trails, that bubbled from my flesh, slowly deflated. The needle lay beside my numbed hand and, once again, I felt ten times worse than I had before. The dope had worn off. Pupils dilated to the size of quarters while the after effects set in. My bloodshot eyes couldn't do much outside of identify what was directly in front of them, syringes and the reflection of a holocaust victim. I wanted to stop, I really did, but I couldn't. It was like trying to describe color to Stevie Wonder, futile to even attempt. Another high class male falling from the apex of his success rock bottom. They asked, "Why hasn't Kerry Millano joined sVo, a place which acted as a sanctuary to former EMPIRE superstars. It's not that I didn't want to, far from that, I had simply been 'hooked' on settling for less for too long. An unforgiving hand had grabbed him by the nuts and yanked him down to a jagged, rocky bottom. He was a gutter bunny with no light to shine on his face, sleeping on the cold wet street and walking around in tattered articles that revealed his own insignia, it served as a testament of what was Kerry Millano. On one night, a street light shone down against his back like a ray from heaven however, complete ebony left him ignorant to it's wonders. What happened to the oh-so charismatic Kerry Millano? What had happened to all the money he had and, most importantly, why was he in the gutter? A lot of questions needed to be answered, Mr. Millano remarked in reference to his down-trodden state. -- a piece of Kerry Millano's newly published biography: "SUPERSTAR" __flashback__ Hey, isn't that Kerry Millano? | Kerry Millano | "Get the fuck away from me you little bastards.. 'er Hey," he called out. "Do you have some dollars I could borrow for a burger?" The rasp in his voice resembled a full-time, lifelong smoker's. He was sickly and the rain that poured down from the sky didn't aide his condition either. Black eyes danced across the ripe red faces of his former fans. | Kid #1 | "You're the one who wrestles. We should be asking you for money. Why do you look so torn up? You just get in a fight'er somethin'?" | Kerry Millano | "Look, you little faggot, are you gonna give me the money or am I going to have to take it?" His rasped had cleared but the tone in his voice struck down harder and more forceful when he stared into their, now worrisome, facades. As they stepped back, Millano took notice of one's deep inhaling breath -- a signal that one of them was about to shout. He'd provide no window of opportunity for that as the dirtiest knuckles you would ever lay eyes on flew right into his open mouth. POW! Blood stained cold concrete as the boys were struck down by the tyrant's hand, one in the mouth and another into the companion's throat. Their screams were muffled and gagged as Millano drug them both behind a decaying alleyway until his back propped against the cold steel of a large dumpster. He was an savage at this point, prowling on his own kind; the most advanced species to walk the world's surface. There was a large chain, and humans were supposedly at the top, but Kerry wasn't human any longer. He'd demoted into something much less civil. With this de-evolution, he no longer had to deal with "human barriers" such as morality. He went above and beyond breeching the line between animal and man. This made him something much more.. respectable, in his own mind. He was the top of the food chain. Fists continued to strike each downed individual. So what if they were no older than fourteen? In homage to social Darwinism, only the strong survived to advance. Anything less than that would be trampled. The malicious swinging continued until his bicep scorched and his knuckles were as numb as his heart. Bloody, battered faces couldn't even muster a squeal under the onslaught of Millano. A wandering hand slid into the pockets of subdued juveniles. He grabbed whatever he could before turning away and in a sprint through the alley. No tears fell for the abused young, not even a second thought was brought into play. He didn't care for tears at the time, he needed to get to his pusher as quickly as possible.. ...heroin always did the trick. __end__ | Kerry Millano | "I did a lot of things I'm not very proud of when I was down and out but sVo provided me with a home and a second chance. If I hadn't stumbled into their office drunk that day, I would probably be in jail or dead right now. I have nothing but gratitude for the Moretti'es and my friends and family for putting me back on my feet." | Biographer | "I think that's enough for today, Mr. Millano. Thank you for being so honest with me and we'll meet again-- this weekend?" | Kerry Millano | "Sounds good to me." |
