Recap Of Events Last time "Hollywood" Howie Banks was seen he was depressed over his number one contendership loss to Psyko Stevo. Not only that, but he got a phone call from his local doctor in Los Angeles, California who had told him the news about how he was now a new father. Deep down Banks was still upset over his loss at the sVo pay-per-view, Redemption but he knew eventually it was only a matter of time before he would recover and bounce back. One thing he was disappointed in was not being there for the birth of his first child which turned out to be a girl. Arriving At Home A long black stretch limousine pulled up the long newly paved driveway of a Beverly Hills, California mansion. The yard was quite large and contained a pond as well as a lot of flowers. As you got closer to the white and green house with blue window shutters, there was a long and spacious porch out front made of concrete along side white polls that attached the house to the ground and kept it in an upright position. Beyond the house was a golf course as well as a go kart track along with a swimming pool and a fire pit. It took years for Banks to achieve all this. As the limo pulled up to the side of the house, Banks got out himself not wasting anytime at all. He walked up the walk and to the front porch as the door opened up and it was his bodyguard, Jeeves. As both men stood their starting a conversation, Jeeves wore his regular bodyguard clothes having big steel toed boots on, a bullet protection vest on and some black dress pants with a t-shirt over top of the vest. Banks was wearing his favorite Nike air runners as well as Adidas pants with a regular tank top. The limo then backed off out of the drive and left down the road. Jeeves: "Welcome home." He stepped forward and gave Banks a hug out of appreciation for his new blessing in his daughter. As they came apart Banks looked up to Jeeves who was wearing the patented black shades he always seems to carry around as he then began to speak back. "Hollywood" Howie Banks: "Thanks, when did you get here?" Jeeves was slow to respond but finally did after Howie stood their and waited for an answer to his question. Jeeves: "A little while ago." Banks obviously found that to be strange but didn't think anything of it as the two shook hands and began to walk into the house. Jeeves, who obviously know why and how long he really has been there, just nods and follows him in. As they walk in we look to the right and see the kitchen. Walking forward now and looking left we see "Hollywood" Howie Bank's supermodel wife, Ashlee laying on the couch with a blanket on her body and just over her chest area. All that can be seen is part of her black tank top she is wearing. Banks walks over to her and kisses her on the forehead. He stands there and runs his fingers through her hair as he looks to her body up and down. He then looks around the room in the living room where the television is as well as the stereo system he owns and some other things such as family portraits and model cars that "Hollywood" Howie Banks collects. He then looked back to Ashlee who looked up to him. He began to ask where the little girl they had brought into this world or thought they had brought into this world together was. She explained the situation as Jeeves stayed downstairs with her and Banks went up to go see her. As he made his way up a flight of about fifteen stairs or so, he was thinking about small parts of the match he had lost just days ago at Redemption in front of all those fans and wrestlers. He told everybody he was going to defeat his opponent, Psyko Stevo but that didn't end up happening. Although he was very down about that, he began to think about his new daughter that they had not even gotten a name for just yet and how much he would smile when he seen her once making it to the top of the stairs. He finally made it to the top of the stairs. It felt like forever to even get to the top of them but he made it. As he made it up the stairs more flashbacks were coming into his mind. His long one year feud with a former adversary named Stuvix from his Headstrong Wrestling days. Not to forget his Paramount Championship Wrestling World Heavyweight Title reign. It was all coming back to him. The old and good times of his career were what would really help him get over this new loss to Psyko Stevo and put him in the right mind set and direction. Howie walked down the hallway upstairs as he made it to his daughter's bed room. He looked in and noticed the whole room newly decorated with baby things such as toys, pictures and even a baby monitor. Banks slowly but surely walked up to his baby girl's crib not trying to wake her as he accidentally seemed to have stepped on something that made an awkward noise. *SQUEAK* It was a kid's toy that made a loud noise. As he walked up to the crib he tripped over some thing and bashed his head face first into the side of the crib. The baby woke up as he immediately got up from that embarrassing moment and picked up his baby girl who was crying hysterically. He then began to rock her to sleep as after a few seconds she stops crying and getting upset. As he holds her in his arms he begins playing with her small little feet and hands. He could not believe he was a father. After all the years of being such a player and having such a commitment issue, he was now a proud father. He placed her back down in the crib as he placed a blanket over top of the baby. He began leaning over the crib just watching her for what seemed to be forever but really was only for a few minutes. He began to think about his life more thoroughly now as he thought about literally everything. His family, his fame, his career in wrestling, his life overall pretty much. As he did that, his mind began to wander, thinking aloud about his match against Nicholas Etch the newest International Champion on Showdown this week. "Hollywood" Howie Banks: "It's not necessarily the people who win all their matches and climb the ladder the fastest that come out as the best. It just means you had more energy and will on that night. Just because of one victory over somebody doesn't automatically mean that you are better than that person. If that was the fact then Psyko Stevo would be better than I am. But honestly, he's not... Not yet anyways." He continued to watch his new baby girl, as he wasn't even close to finished discussing all that was on his mind. So he kept talking some more... "Hollywood" Howie Banks: "It's like this week on Showdown. If I beat Nicholas Etch, does that mean I am better than him? No, of course not. Why is that? Well, because the man first of all holds a title belt, which I do not. Not only that but the man would only have lost to me once. So the question is, how do you know when you are better than somebody? I'll tell you how..." He pauses briefly gathering all his thoughts on the matter. He then let them out. "Hollywood" Howie Banks: "When you've got somebody down and they can't get baqck up. When you have faced off against someone so many times it's not even a challenge anymore. Well I know that at Redemption Psyko Stevo got lucky. He got lucky that night and if I beat Etch, I will probably get lucky too. The man is quite a good wrestler and that's why he beat Johnny All Star for the International Championship." Banks continued on some more. "Hollywood" Howie Banks: "Although you have the number one contendership to Nicholas Etch, Psyko Stevo... I'm going to soon making myself famous too once again. How do you ask? Well after I beat your future opponent tonight, and I soften him up a bit for ya, and I defeat him and show him that the real deal is me, the money around here is me... Well then I will come and relinquish the championship belt you will win off of him. This thing between us Nicholas Etch is nothing really, it's just a stepping stone in my path to success. As far as you are concerned, Stevo... Well you made it personal and we aren't done by a long shot!" He looks to his daughter and starts to fiddle with her hair as he begins to talk again having these final words to say. "Hollywood" Howie Banks: "I've got something new to fight for, live for and breathe for. It's called my daughter. She is the new inspiration that gets me to wake up in the morning and get dressed and walk out there in front of all those idiots watching me perform. I've found a new way of life and a new cure for sorrow. That is love, that is my daughter and that is my family! Nicholas Etch... You bring what you brought to the table on Redemption and I'll bring what I brought at Redemption and more. Let's give Psyko Stevo a good match to watch, god knows his with Mike Polowy is going to be garbage. Nicholas Etch... You may be the current International Champion, but you won't get past greatness on Showdown. Now if you don't mind, I'm spending time here at home. Time with my daughter... that is!" He winks and watches his baby girl as the room becomes quiet. The end. |
