He had accomplished many things so far in his career.

He had become a world champion twice. He had been a part of the most successful stable in the last half decade. He'd taken on all challengers and nine times out of ten, he had come out on top. He'd watched drugs, alcohol, and disease tear his family apart and still stood tall. He'd beaten the odds of being a relatively small man in a big man's business. He'd even survived the ire of employer Jimmy Moretti, and despite the constant attempts by his boss to see him fired or at a disadvantage, The Mike Effect always managed to come out on top.

But in all his years, and despite all his accomplishments, Michael Polowy had never successfully been in two places at once.

He'd taken on multiple opponents in one night before, and come out on top. At Night of Violence, the pay-per-view event in which he finally captured the Project:Violence World Championship, he'd successfully competed in a tag team match just moments before the main event, still managing to capture the strap from two of the most talented superstars of their day. And once before that, while wrestling for his father's Atlantic City Wrestling Federation, he'd openly wept in the ring after overcoming the odds of a one night, sixteen man tournament to become the seconf ACWF World Heavyweight Champion. He still remembered the haze of the room as he wiped the tears from his eyes, broken down and beaten from exhaustion, and in the back of his mind he knew more than anything that he could do that again to this very day. He could overcome the odds, he could beat two opponents in one night.

The problem remained, however, that despite all this, he'd never been in two places at once.

He silently kicks himself as he loads a duffel bag into the back seat of his souped up Dodge Charger. Since coming to Las Vegas just two short months ago, he'd seen this car hit three times, ruined once by a valet parker, and spray painted twice by angry fans. Even still, it was his baby, and ten thousand dollars later it was looking brand new and ready to roll. And it needed to be, because he was kicking himself for doing the same thing he always did... the same thing that always got him into the same kind of trouble. He'd truly believed that there was nothing Jimmy Moretti could do that would really screw him over.

It had seemed like a decent enough deal on paper. A one night contract to wrestle in the Hostility Wrestling Federation, to take on Julian Fiasco and put a few more asses into the seats for the next sVo Showdown. He figured he'd fly out there, knock Fiasco around a little bit for sport, pin him, and be done with it. What he hadn't counted on, however, was the subsequent booking of himself versus Johnny All-Star, scheduled to take place within two hours of one another. South of Heaven, the weekly Hostility show, would be taking place just inside Orlando, Florida, which posed the obvious problem. Much like Rambo many years before, Michael Polowy was being booked to fail. Moretti was waiting for him to no-show, and even if he made it to the event in time for his match, Moretti knew that Polowy would never be able to compete to the best of his ability after wrestling a match in Florida and taking a three hour flight back into Las Vegas. Even if he ran out of the arena after wrestling Fiasco, caught a cab to the airport, got through airport security with minimal hassle, got on the plane, made it back to Las Vegas, and drove his car back to the arena, he may not even be able to make the match in time to compete. The only saving grace in the entire ordeal was the difference in show times. The sVo ran a two hour show that began at roughly 9PM eastern time, while the considerably earlier South of Heaven show would last two hours as well. He'd wrestle an undercard match at Hostility, which ironically enough had made him angry just a week before, and then wrestle in the sub main event at Showdown. It would be close. It would be DANGEROUSLY close.

But Johnny All-Star had been right about one thing... this match was going to be main event caliber. And it didn't matter whether he had to take eight busses, two planes, and a submarine to make it back to wrestle on Showdown, Michael Polowy would prove to Jimmy Moretti that he would never , EVER win his war. He would never keep the champion down

He stuffs the last of his equipment into the back seat of the car, pushing the seat back and closing the door. Reaching into his inside jacket pocket, he produces a half pack of cigarettes and lights on up. He'd made a no smoking rule within the confines of the Charger a long time ago, and though the night time air was becoming brisk, he takes a few moments to reflect before taking off for the airport. He blows a single smoke ring, before blowing the remaining smoke out his nose.

. Michael Polowy had accomplished a lot of things in his career so far...

Now? He was going to attempt to be in two places at once.
