oh yeah. I'm not sure why but MK is near invincible in the tornado, and has priority over most attacks... even i think he could be nerfed (as long as Ike also gets his damage reduced :D) argh maybe someone else should host yuki ? |

Metaknight isn't THAT powerful. I've never really had a problem with Metaknight. >_> Btw, adding both Yuki and Snow now. Also, your guys is lag is natural I think. The servers are always overloaded. It's near impossible to find a game where you don't experience SOME sort of latency. |

"Also, QUIT USING ITEMS D< They're annoying D< .." I cant kill without items.... and they were fair game in the Nintendo and Gamestop tourneys.. so they should be okay. Also I agree Lucas must be hard with lag, one touch in teh wrong direction and you're pretty much dead.... I'd also be careful of using the snake to get back on, since that can be ledge-guarded super easily. Cant wait for non lag games, so i can actually see those combos you were almost pulling off, heh. |

Tournament metagame actually bans all items and most stages. Only reason Nintendo and Gamestop use items is because little kiddies would cry about it. If you can't kill without items, you need to learn how to >D. (then again, Metaknight and Pit have a VERY hard time killing people @__@) And yes, I wish the lag would stop. D: It's hard to pull off combos when you have a tiny bit of lag. (especially PK Thunder). Thank god Lucas has a snake. <3 Rope Snake. Also, about the snake, even if your edgeguarded, you can usually still pull out a PK Thunder and make it back. On online though, that's just impossible since you need to land a PK Thunder perfectly. |

Rope snake is oddly disturbing....and I just hope you're good with the PK Thunder get-up. Also I just realized I"m brawling you, a seven -maybe -eight yr old, and losing some matches... arghhhh I must definitely suck! Also, if tourneys aren't using items, I guess no Smash Balls? Does that make it more or less fair.... hmm Oh! And if you can really survive after a ledge guard and PK back up and hit me off I will definitely send you a cake. It cant be possible. |

I'm pretty good at using PK Thunder (Though I have been off slightly and slammed into THE SIDE OF THE EDGE and flew off in the other direction, that REALLY pisses me off D: ). Online just makes it very hard to control it. And tourneys don't use items because most of them create an unfair playing environment. For example, Player A and Player B both have one life left and are at 100%. Player A is about to smash Player B and kill him when suddenly a Bomb-omb appears right in front of him. Unable to stop, he smashes to Bomb-omb, dies, and loses. Player B wins. See why items are banned? Also, of course Final Smashes are banned (unless both players agree on using items. that's entirely different though). Most Final Smashes are instant OHKOs or severly hurt your opponent. Plus some characters (Like Lucas lol) have a very easy time getting Smash balls. While others (Like Ike) have a hell of a time getting a Smash Ball. So yeah, I'm pretty sure their banned. And about the Snake Rope thing, I've done it before. Sometimes I'm accidently facing the wrong direction and use the Snake Rope, and have PK Thunder backed. (Or I've used it where I'm too far away). Try it yourself, you can easily make it back to the stage. Lucas' PK Thunder ram has a pretty long distance compared to Ness' xD. |

We can add each others messenger? Mines, h3aRt.oF.iCe@hotmail.com Also, Kuno is good lol. He was experience lag too, just so you know. Umm, yeah, items are banned. They have always been banned in meta gamining. Like Xamu said it creates an unfair playing enviroment. Not saying that it's not fun once in awhile to have items, but real "skills" is when you play without items. If anything, MetaKnight and Pit should rank up damage % real quick o.0; I don't play MK or Pit, but I noticed when I played them against LVL9 CPU's that normally I can't beat with my main, they kinda owned them no sweat lol. Other then that, with MK you just can't close range fight him, or mid-air attack him. [You can, but its hard with his long range and quickness]. Also, yeah, you can PK thunder people when they're edgegaurding. You can do that with most of the characters Up+B. Like Links spin attack =3. |

I edgeguard differently with Lucas. Screw PK Thunder. Lucas' Down Smash is godly at Edge guarding. If you stand right at the edge, it guards THE ENTIRE EDGE. Not to mention it technically hits 3 times, so it guards the edge for quite some time. The only way you can get on the edge, is if you use a tether grab or jump over Lucas (but if you could jump over Lucas, the player probably wouldn't be edge guarding in the first place lol.) PK Thunder is really only good at edge guarding if their way off at the side of the screen, other then that, you leave yourself wide open. Also, my MSN messenger is taylormyran@hotmail.com Feel free to add me xD. |

Well, i do understand most if not all tourneys disable items for the reason of "spontaneous" unfairness; however, what I was getting at is: Brawl is so much more enjoyable with smash attacks. Second~ about ledge hogging, I was referring just to Lucas missing then recovering with PK thunder - it seems crazy to think Sera could make it back up after whiffing, suffering from attack delay , and then throwing out a PK thunder at the edge and recovering. This is why its worth cake prizes. I'd also agree with sera that some character have an easier time obtaining a smash ball, but it sorta relates to the power as well. I've survived an overwhelming % of Lucas Smashes. -- Oh, also I don't suppose you guys could give me AIM names instead :P I hate msn messenger |
