Ok, here's the hodown. When Mabinogi goes open beta, we're going to form a FRIGGN BAND TO PLAY MUSIC! We are going to get together and play some music. Don't worry, I will provide the songs. http://mabimml.modev.jp/ OR http://www.onrpg.com/boards/80064.html Well, these sites will. If you can't read what the songs are, you're going to have to install a language pack, or get google to translate it or something. If you can't do that, then contact me, I'll give you the script and whatnot. Anyway, to form a song... 1. buy an instrument from the general store keeper (well, duh) 2.buy a composition book from the general store keeper.(If you don't already have the composition skill) 3. Advance read the composition book so you will learn the composition skill (The gold star on it in the items menu will disappear if you learned it) 4. Now learn the skill Compose. 5. Buy a scroll from the general store keeper. 6. Use the compose skill on the scroll. 7. Now you should have an option to put a title, chords, and a melody on the song. Follow the structure shown from the websites provided "use ONRPG for a clearer demonstration" and there you have it. You have composed a song. You will need this if you want to be in the band. Now, as the manager of this Mabinogi Band (Jiwan's the leader T.T), it is my duty (lol duty) to assign roles to people wishing to join the band. We do not know fully what instruments will be available, because Nexon might mess it up. So far, we will only assign roles for what we know will be available. Fayte(for now, may be Rokudo)- Flute Harjiwan- Guitar (or Ukelele, if that's how it's spelt) BAKA-Chalumeau(srsly, what is that?) Well, now we just need more people to join this band, It will be opening at open beta, And please, practice your musical skillz until you can actually play the songs we will provide. First, we will start with Rank F Songs, until the leader gets better (Jiwan you lazy bum >.<) So until the open beta starts, we are going to take requests for the band and what not. We will have to contact each other ingame, and possibly outside of game(msn lol) Thank you, and we hope you wish to join the SOS Band (still unamed, give me suggestions PLOX!) P.S. Lol this sounds like a fun idea 8D! I may join, but not for awhile at least. I need my magics D: But um, these are the following instruments that are in Mabinogi (so far). -Lute -Ukulele -Mandolin -Whistle -Chalumeau -Flute -Unknown name (it looks like a pan pipe) -Ice Flute (I'm guessing its different from a flute) -Bottle (lol) Only Giants can play these instruments IIRC, -Cymbals -Drums So yea, those are all the instrumets, just incase you didn't know. I'll probably work on music after I max out Icebolt, (since music gives Dex, which I need 8D). Good Luck with your band! :smart: |

Posted Image Add a few holes, keys, metal thingies, and hey, you got a clarinet. (Uggh, it reminds me of the recorder/cheap piece of plastic instrument thingy we had to play in fifth grade. >__> It sounded terrible, but it was awfully easy. .__.; |
